With the First Flight Collection, the USA based watch brand Sangamon pays tribute to Wright brothers.
On December 17, 1903, Wilbur and Orville Wright made the world’s first motor-operated airplane. The new Sangamon First Flight Watch celebrates this historic achievement.
This timepiece features a 40mm diameter case made of stainless steel. The case-back of this limited edition timepiece boasts an engraving of the iconic Wright Flyer, powered by a 12hp gasoline engine.
Topped with a sapphire crystal glass, it has a water-resistance of 50 meters. Powering the First Flight watch is the Japanese Seiko VH64 Quartz movement that displays date and day of the week through sub-dials.
Fitted with a leather strap with quick release system, this model is available in two dial colour versions: Blue and Wine Red. It features numerals, lumed hands and index markers, and two silver-coloured counters for displaying the day and date.
Every timepiece from the Sangamon First Flight Collection comes with a story card that provides a deeper connection to the inspirational history depicted on the watch.
