H. Moser & Cie. Endeavour Tourbillon Concept Vantablack® and Endeavour Centre Seconds Vantablack®
With the new Vantablack editions of Endeavour Tourbillon Concept and Endeavour Centre Seconds models, H. Moser & Cie. combines radiance of red gold with the absolute black colour.
Vantablack® is a ultra-black coating recognised as the darkest substance in the world. Composed of carbon nanostructures, this innovative material was developed for astrophysics and is used in telescopes, as well as by the army to increase the stealth level of certain equipment. When a photon hits this material, it absorbs 99.965% of the light.
These new H. Moser & Cie. watches feature 40 mm diameter cases. Made of red gold, both case and hands perfectly contrast with the Vantablack® dial.
An ode to minimalism, the Endeavour Tourbillon Concept Vantablack® boasts a one-minute flying tourbillon at 6 o’clock. This mesmerising complication seems literally to float in the centre of a black hole, with no reflection, and without indices or logo by way of distraction.
This timepiece houses the self-winding HMC 804 calibre with a double hairspring designed and produced in-house.
Thanks to this pair of matched hairsprings, the movement of the point of gravity on each spring when it expands is corrected and the effect of friction reduced, significantly improving accuracy and isochronism in continual pursuit of perfection.
For the Endeavour Centre Seconds Vantablack® model, H. Moser & Cie. has applied the expertise it has acquired through its work with Vantablack® to achieve a technical feat by adding red gold indices to the dial.
This watch houses the self-winding Manufacture calibre HMC 200. It is equipped with a regulating organ manufactured by Precision Engineering AG, the sister company of H. Moser & Cie. It houses a large, engraved gold oscillating weight and guarantees a minimum power reserve of 3 days.
