Its polished steel case with matte black PVD treatment reveals an anthracite dial with finishes of exceptional quality. Its sunray satin finish captures and diffuses the light to produce fascinating mirror effects.
The stamped and rounded leaf-shaped hour and minute hands recall the elegance of the Baroncelli collection, and the Bordeaux red varnished small seconds hand lends this piece a powerful feel. They can be admired through the sapphire crystal, which protects the dial. This watch is a futuristic interpretation of a timeless model and will delight devotees of beautiful timepieces.
The transparent case back reveals the finely decorated cutting-edge movement and its oscillating weight decorated with Geneva stripes and Mido logo.
The movement also features a small seconds at 6 o’clock: a petite complication particularly dear to Mido as it has been used in the collections since 1934. It is housed in a 38 mm polished steel case with matte black PVD treatment.
Water-resistant to a pressure of 5 bar (50 m / 165 ft), this bold piece is fitted with an elegant Cordura® fabric strap on leather base, renowned for its ability to stand the test of time. Mido has painstakingly added a black plaque engraved with 100th Anniversary. The black PVD-treated stainless steel folding clasp adds an extra touch of modernism to this model.
The Baroncelli 2118 is available as a limited edition of 2,118 numbered pieces and comes in a special case.
