RAIDILLON New Automatic Chronograph Ref. C10-133 (Tribute to The United Kingdom of Belgium)

RAIDILLON®, the Belgian Watchmaker, passionate about motor sports, pays tribute to its country, by designing a new Automatic chronograph, incorporating together the codes of The United Kingdom of Belgium and the Racing history, in a limited edition of 55 timepieces.

A yellow dial embracing the 3 black eyes of the chronograph to set up the scenario of the United Kingdom of Belgium and to recall that in the early 1900s until the late 1960s; vehicles competing in Formula One, sports car racing, touring car racing and other international events, painted their cars in standardized racing colors to indicate the country of origin.

At the 11th index, Raidillon honors the Belgian flag by adding a black-yellow-red index instead of the legendary 55. Below the transparent glass on the back of the case, Raidillon engraves its name in yellow on the top of the rotor. The Rally racing wrist straps in eco leather, hand-sewed in Belgium with yellow stitches, fly back in history to give a glimpse to the steering wheel and racing gloves.

Swiss made self-winding movement. Calibre: Valjoux 7750 Visible from the back, Raidillon engraved in yellow oscillating weight cut into steering wheel shape. Beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, 4Hz, and providing 40 hours of power reserve, 25 jewels.

Stainless steel case watertight to 10 ATM – 42mm diameter: 316 Stainless steel with back cover affixed by 7 screws. Sapphire glass with double anti-reflection treatment. Engraved screw-down crown, stamped with ’55’: 2 push buttons with ‘Clou de Paris’ effect. Serial number /55 engraved on the left side. Hour/minute hands silvered with Super-Luminova.

Strap in anti-allergic eco calfskin, hand-sewed in Belgium. Folding clasp with engraved Raidillon.
