Hong Kong based micro watch brand AISION has launched a new Kickstarter campaign for promoting its new tourbillon watch.
This is the seventh campaign by AISION on the popular online crowd funding platform. Featuring a meteorite dial, the new tourbillon watch houses the Hangzhou 3408 calibre, which has a vibration frequency of 28,800 per hour, 25 jewels, and an approximate power reserve rating of 70 to 80 hours.
For the new AISION Tourbillon Watch, the brand has opted for a 41mm diameter stainless steel case with AR treated sapphire crystal glass. The case thickness is 11.8mm. This timepiece is fitted with a stainless steel bracelet featuring H-shaped links.
This model is based on the AISION tourbillon launched in 2022. Like its ancestor, the new edition spotlights multiple finishing styles such as linear brushing, sand-blasting and mirror-polishing. The bezel has a distinct 8-recessed design. The watch also employs Super-Luminova BGW9 coating on the hands and indices.
The special Kickstarter price of the new AISION tourbillon with meteorite dial is HK$ 6,599 (about US$ 841).
Note: The funding goal of this campaign is HK$ 50,000. The funding period is from 21 Feb to 23 March, 2023. Estimated delivery planned in October 2023. Please go through the terms and conditions applicable to Kickstarter campaigns.

Mu:n is an extraordinary watchmaking project founded by three young Frenchmen. Launched in 2020, the Mu:n project has brought in a new way of participating, influencing and following the entire process of watchmaking creation. The result of this innovative horological adventure is MU:N FIRST EDITION, a Swiss Made automatic Moonphase watch created by combining the creative intelligence of designers and feedbacks of thousands of enthusiasts via an online campaign.
Moon phase is one of the most poetic complications in watchmaking. The MU:N FIRST EDITION is offering a novel interpretation of this much loved function. It took almost two years to create the final design. Each component – hands, case, appliques, moon disc, indexes – of the moonphase watch were designed by the participating designers.
The final design was chosen through an online voting. Now, Mu:n has launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for commercially producing the first batch of the much anticipated moon-watch.
MU:N FIRST EDITION
The first edition Mu:n watch is Swiss Made. The assembly and the control are carried out by PH Saner SA, a renowned watch manufacturing company based in Alle, Switzerland. For manufacturing the moon disc and the oscillating weight, the founders of Mu:n project have partnered with AJS Production SA, Porrentruy.
The dial features an exceptional geometric purity. It alternates round shapes, which marry the moon disc, and rectangular shapes, in harmony with its stick appliques and its day window. The dial has a 24-hour graduation.
This edition stands out with its realistic moon disc. In partnership with AJS Production SA, the Mu:n team has developed a new printing method for the lunar display. This process has the merit of making each moon disc unique through subtle variations in hue, bringing an artistic touch to each model. The moon craters are burnt on the surface in order to offer relief perceptible to the naked eye.
Movement
The Hommage Edition houses the automatic Sellita SW288-1 movement, which features a superior moon phase complication, with a synodic revolution of exactly 29.50 days. The moon phase is precise to 0.03 days per revolution, i.e. a shift of one day every 3 years. The movement also features a rapid date and lunar day corrector.
The Sellita SW288-1 caliber has 26 jewels and a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz). It offers a power reserve of 38 hours. The movement features rhodium-finishing and Geneva stripes. Two rotor options are available: standard and decorated.
To design the decorated movement rotor, the Mu:n project took inspiration from The Moon XVIII of the Tarot de Marseille, made by Jean Dodal at the beginning of the 18th century.
The decorated oscillating weight highlights six coats of arms in bas-relief repeating the constituent elements of the card, namely: 2 wolf dogs, a moon and its rays, a crayfish and 2 towers. Laser-engraved, each of these allegories is affixed to a specific decor, inspired by the original emblem.
The 38 mm diameter case in steel is comprised of three entirely polished parts: bezel, middle case and case-back. The case thickness is 11.1mm.
Mu:n Creators Series with black dial
The slightly sloping upper bezel opens onto a sapphire crystal. The middle-case is attached to a case back in the form of a porthole, made up of two successive slopes hollowed out by four visible screws. This composition represents a fine union of flat and curved lines. The break in the slightly sloping lugs offers a pleasant light catch during wrist movements.
Mu:n Creators Series with silvered dial
The brand is presently offering three variants of the MU:N FIRST EDITION moon-phase watch: Creators, Origine and Quartz.
Mu:n Creators Series
The Mu:n Creators Series is dedicated to creators who have followed the project for almost two years now. This model will only be available until December 31, for pre-order on Kickstarter. This stainless watch is available with three dial color options: black, midnight blue and silvered.
Mu:n Creators Series with blue dial
Origine series
Composed of two models, the Origine series is the permanent series of Mu:n. It will also be available for pre-order on Kickstarter from November. It features a white color dial, and comes with a stainless steel or gold-toned case.
Mu:n Origine Automatic Series
Both Creators and Origine models are equipped with automatic movements. The glasses on the dial side and the case-back are made of sapphire crystals. The lug width is 20mm, and each timepiece comes with a leather strap.
Mu:n Origine Automatic Series
MU:N FIRST EDITION Origine Quartz Series
The quartz series is designed around the same requirements as the automatic, and assembled in Switzerland in the same workshop.
Mu:n Origine Quartz Series
Equipped with the Swiss Ronda Normetch 708 movement, it comes with a 36mm diameter case in steel or gold-toned finish. Its thickness is 7mm and lug-width is 18mm. This variant with white dial comes with a sapphire crystal front glass and an engraved steel case-back.
Mu:n Origine Quartz Series
The online crowd-funding campaign launched by the Mu:n team on 14th November has already crossed the funding goal within a day.
Pledges start at $330 for the quartz version and $836 for the automatic model. This initial promotional drive will be active on Kickstarter until 12th December this year, with the estimated delivery of watches in April/May 2023.

Hong Kong based OLTO-8 presents IRON Series, an off-road-inspired mechanical automatic watch.
This rugged timepiece comes with a stunning open-worked design, tough angular outer frame, and a precise, reliable Japanese MIYOTA self-winding movement. Two versions of this timepiece are available: IRON X & IRON EX.
Framed by a strong square-shaped outer frame in 316L stainless steel, its open-worked dial design reveals the watch’s fascinating internal mechanisms. The outer frame of the case resembles the guard of an off-road vehicle, and the square shape of the manufacture resembles the shape of an off-road vehicle.
The skeleton layer is a cross, giving the dial a form like a wheel and dividing the movement and the exterior into distinct parts. The four luminous rings on the case are inspired by the headlights of the off-road SUV.
OLTO-8 IRON features a unique multi-layered case made from tough 316L stainless steel. The skeletonized body shows off the exquisitely-made movement inside.
A tough sapphire crystal covers the MIYOTA 82S7 self-winding movement underneath, protected by a hardened steel casing, giving this sophisticated system the durability needed for rugged outdoor activities.
The unique 24-hour dial which is isolated from the hands, shows clearly, day or night and a dedicated minute dial makes reading the time fast and accurate. Its numerals and hands are all illuminated with the latest Swiss Super-Luminova that glows in low-light conditions. The straps are made of Italian leather and each strap is welted by hand.
OLTO-8 IRON Series Automatic is now available on Kickstarter. During this crowd-funding campaign, you can pre-order the watch by pledging an amount, less than the future MSRP of the product. The special Kickstarter price of this model starts at $320 each, which is 42% less than the MSRP of the watch. Campaign period: 26 May to 30 June 2022. Estimated delivery in July 2022.
CODE41 presents X41 Edition 6, a new series offering fine mechanical watchmaking pieces including a high-end model with sapphire case. These new watches will be available for pre-order exclusively on the X41 project page from Tuesday April 12 2022 at 3pm until May 4 2022 at 3pm.
Because of its exceptional hardness, Sapphire is an extremely difficult material to work. It demands high levels of expertise to create sapphire watch cases. Not a single error can be permitted throughout each stage of its production, from machining to polishing, up to and including its assembly.
Sapphire comes with many distinct properties. Firstly, its hardness is very much superior to that of steel, titanium and other materials. This unique quality grants it incredible resistance to scratching. Two times lighter than steel, sapphire also offers exceptional comfort for your wrist. Another important advantage is its transparency, which allows the splendor of the X41’s skeleton movement to be admired from every angle.
CODE41 is offering two more variants of this watch: the X41 AeroCarbon and the X41 Titanium. The movements all X41 timepieces incorporate colored bridges.
9 new bridge colors were subject to the community’s vote, with two selected for this Edition 6: green and rainbow. These two new colors have been added to the existing list and are available in all configurations: Sapphire, AeroCarbon and grade 5 Titanium. To create colored bridges, CODE41 has collaborated with Positive Coating SA, Swiss specialists in the decoration of watch components.
The translucent strap is the other big new feature for this 6th edition of the X41. As well as offering a case made entirely of sapphire, allowing for a mesmerizing transparency, the X41 Edition 6 can be paired with a translucent R41 strap for an even more captivating transparent experience. The translucent strap is available for all models in this 6th edition.
Available from 14,793 CHF, the X41 Edition 6 Sapphire offers exceptional value for money, made possible by an even more drastic reduction of the mark-ups applied to this model, with the aim of making this Fine Watchmaking piece accessible to as many people as possible.
The exclusive CODE41 manufacture movement was designed, produced and assembled entirely in Switzerland in limited series. It comes with a peripheral oscillating weight.
Founded in 2016 by Claudio D’Amore, CODE41’s mission is to make the art of watchmaking accessible to all. The X41 Edition 6 will be available from: 5,393 CHF for the titanium version, 5,893 CHF for the AeroCarbon version and 14,793 CHF for the sapphire version. Two batches will be available for this pre-order campaign: 150 units for the first batch (estimated delivery: February/March 2023) and 150 units for the second (estimated delivery: March/April 2023).

In collaboration with Gisbert Brunner (co-founder of Uhrenkosmos), Watch Angels SA is releasing a timepiece inspired by the iconic B-Uhr pilot watches.
Based in Mendrisio in Switzerland, Watch Angels SA is a watch company specialized in crowd-funded manufacturing. Utilizing community funding, it has already created timepieces like Cedric Bellon CB01, Bühlmann Decompression 01, Funder Måne and Waltham Field & Marine.
The company’s latest project is B-Uhr Baumuster B, an automatic pilot watch created in partnership with Gisbert Brunner.
While respecting the original specifications and design codes of historic B-Uhr watches, the Watch Angels design type – based on the “Baumuster B” dial version – is the first automatic mono-pusher officially-certified chronometer chronograph.
The Watch Angels design type B-Uhr chronograph features a 44mm diameter case. It will be available in four versions: B-Uhr Stealth, B-Uhr Vintage, B-Uhr Blue and B-Uhr Black.
B-Uhr Stealth features black DLC coated stainless steel case, black dial, black hands and grey X1 Superluminova®. B-Uhr Vintage has grey DLC case, matt black dial, blue hands and “old radium” X1 Superluminova®. Both Stealth and Vintage models are limited to 50 pieces each.
B-Uhr Blue comes with stainless steel case, sunburst navy blue dial, black dial, black hands and white X1 Superluminova®. B-Uhr Black features stainless steel case, matte black dial, black hands and white X1 Superluminova®. Both Blue and Black models are limited to 70 pieces each.
A soft-iron cage protects the movement from the influence of magnetic fields. True to the designs of historic pilot watches, it boasts an easily readable dial layout. Its over-sized crown allows easy operating even with the gloves on.
The Watch Angels design type B-Uhr looks like a 3 hands watch when the chronograph is not active. This effect has been reached by using a monopusher chronograph, which has no top and bottom pushers, and by making sure that the central chronograph hand, 30min chronograph hand and the elapsed time marker exactly overlap when the chronograph is not active.
This mono-pusher chronograph watch is equipped with the Sellita SW500 MPC b self-winding movement. Certified by COSC, this caliber provides a power reserve of 62 hours. The dial features a disc indicator at 9 o’clock for displaying the status of power reserve.
Watch Angels makes use of crowd-funding to fund the production of its timepieces. The company has recently started raising funds for B-Uhr. The special Watch Angels price per piece is CHF 1,890 for B-Uhr Black and B-Uhr Blue models and CHF 2,190 for B-Uhr Stealth and B-Uhr Vintage models. The campaign will be closed on 30 April 2022.

This automatic titanium watch by AEROMAT was designed in close collaboration with Major General Joe H. Engle, the last living X-15 test pilot.
The North American X-15 is a hypersonic, rocket-powered airplane operated by the United States Air Force and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration as part of the X-plane series of experimental aircraft. It holds the official world record for the highest speed ever recorded by a crewed, powered aircraft. This record-breaking speed of 4,520 miles per hour (7,274 km/h) was achieved on 3 October 1967.
This AEROMAT wristwatch pays tribute to one of the most daring aeronautical projects. The design concept of the AEROMAT X-15 WATCH, with its plated titanium case and applied dial, is entirely focused on X-15 in all its aspects.
The AEROMAT X-15 WATCH features a round, titanium case measuring 44mm diameter, 22mm lug-width, 51mm lug-to-lug length and 12.5mm thickness (including crystal). It incorporates various forms of surface finishing on different parts of the case, for example: polished, circular-polished, vertical-brushed, round-brushed and matt.
The watch features an aircraft instrument inspired dial, with a choice of Black, Green, Blue or Grey colour versions. It features sword-shaped hour and minute hands. The seconds hand evokes the shape of the X-15 aircraft. The watch maintains a minimalistic dial layout with lumed numeral hour markers and hands. It also features a small date window at 3 o’ clock.
On the caseback, the watch highlights the engravings of X-15 nose silhouette, Major General Joe H. Engle’s signature and two stars representing the rank of Major General. On the case-back, you will also find a display inspired by the X-15 Cockpit Turn & Slip Indicator.
AEROMAT X-15 is equipped with the Japanese automatic 24 jewels NH35A movement with date display and 41-hour power reserve. Topped with a scratch resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, the watch offers a water resistance of 10ATM (100m/330 FT).
On 2nd November 2021, the brand launched a Kickstarter campaign to roll out the exclusive numbered edition of this self-winding watch. The crowd-funding project will be active until 23rd November this year. During this promotional campaign, the backers can pre-order AEROMAT X-15 watch. Pledges start at 245 Euros (approximately USD 285).
Each package will include a numbered X-15 automatic watch in titanium packed in an aluminium travel case box. With each timepiece, the brand is offering one mesh band, one Nato strap, and one Italian leather strap.
ALCADUS presents VELOS, a motor-sports inspired quartz chronograph watch equipped with split-second (rattrapante) and flyback functions.
