Halcyon has launched a Kickstarter campaign to promote a new series featuring genuine porcelain dials with enamel miniature painting.

In 2023, the brand successfully conducted an online crowd-funding campaign to launch timepieces with porcelain dials with enamel miniature painting. In the new project, Halcyon is introducing two exquisite models: Origin Cliff Sunrise and Evergreen. Both watches are limited to 24 pieces.

The limited edition Halcyon Origin Cliff Sunrise is an evolution of Halcyon Sea & Cliff design enhanced with real gold detailing. It depicts the breathtaking moment of sunrise, where the sea meets the cliffs. For this timepiece, the brand has utilized gold gilding techniques, transforming 24k pure gold into ultra-fine powder.

The Evergreen version evokes the evergreen nature of pine trees symbolizes vitality and hope.

The dials of these watches are made of porcelain from Jingdezhen, better known as the Porcelain Capital of the World. Each dial has been then enhanced with enamel micro-paintings.

For the case material, the brand has opted for silver thanks to its soft luster. It is forged from 64g of silver (92.5%) and is rhodium plated to prevent the surface from oxidizing into black. Measuring 43mm in diameter, the case features a concealed crown design to harmonize with the off-centre dial layout. The case-back and crown are made of stainless steel. Each timepiece houses Calibre NH05, an automatic movement made by TMI (Seiko).

Launched on 11th January this year, the online crowd-funding project will be active until 10th February, with estimated delivery of watches in April 2024.

The special Kickstarter price of Halcyon Origin Cliff Sunrise watch starts at 1,499 Singapore dollars (appx. US $1,121). The price of Evergreen variant starts at S$ 2,299 (about $1,720).
