CIGA Design X Series Eye of Horus

CIGA Design introduces the Eye of Horus from X Series, a skeleton-style automatic mechanical watch that fuses contemporary design and the ancient Egyptian mythology.

With its X-shaped skeleton design, the CIGA Design X Series Eye of Horus watch embraces the ancient Egyptian concept of energy, power, healing, and luck, all represented by the iconic Eye of Horus triangle that functions as the second hand.

The case is constructed from lightweight and durable bioceramics, offering 3ATM water and shock resistance. It measures 47.3mm x 48mm x 12.1mm and houses an automatic skeleton movement. This custom created calibre with 24 jewels beats at 21,600 vph and offers a power reserve of 40 hours.

Topped with a heat-hardened minerals crystal glass, the watch features luminous green hands and scales. An obsidian-adorned crown completes the concept of energy and power.

The X Series Eye of Horus timepiece comes is available in three versions: Black, Rose Gold, and Silver.

Each timepiece comes with a skin-friendly silicone watch strap is not only soft and comfortable to wear but also stain-resistant and washable. This 22mm wide strap comes with quick release spring bars.

The inspiration for this timepiece comes from the mystic symbol of the Eye of Horus in ancient Egypt. This symbol represents revitalizing power, healing, strength, and luck. According to Egyptian mythology, Horus, son of Osiris and Isis, lost his right eye in a struggle, only to have it magically restored and transformed into a source of strength. The Eye of Horus is emblematic of renewal and rejuvenation.

The name, “The Eye of Horus,” pays homage to an ancient amulet made with precious jewels used by Egyptians for protection, health, and restoration.
