Vortic Watch Company Springfield

Springfield is a collection of mechanical timepieces from the Vortic Watch Company American Artisan Series. Offering one-of-a-kind timepieces, this series is named after Springfield, the home of the legendary Illinois Watch Company.

These watches are equipped with the historic movements manufactured by Illinois Watch Company. For example, Springfield 606 is a unique creation (wristwatch conversion) of a historical timepiece featuring an antique Illinois pocket watch movement made in 1922.

The above featured model (Springfield 606) features a 47mm diameter bronzed titanium case, sapphire crystal glass, nickel-plated crown at 12 o’clock, and exhibition case-back. The 13.5mm thick case is fitted on a leather strap. Lug width is 22mm and lug to lug length is 55mm. Admirable through the transparent case-back, the 21 jewel hand-wound mechanical movement offers a power reserve of 36 hours.

The watches from this distinct series are also available in 45mm diameter versions in stainless steel or titanium with various finishings like sand-blasted, DLC, machined and bronzed. Vortic Springfield watches price range is $2,500 to $5,600. More details at Vortic watches website.
