MIDO Commander Lady – Mother-of-Pearl & Sunray Satinated
The Commander family, an iconic Mido collection since 1959, is being enriched by the arrival of two new models for women: the Commander Lady Sunray Satinated, with its rose PVD-treated steel case containing a silver sunray satinated dial, and the Commander Lady Mother-of-Pearl with its iridescent white mother-of-pearl dial.
The Commander has been manufactured continuously by Mido since 1959 and its longevity speaks volumes about its success. A genuine icon of Swiss watchmaking tradition and know-how, the Commander has preserved the distinctive DNA that has brought it such glory for over half a century.
These two new MIDO Commander Lady models feature rose PVD-treated case. The voluptuous curves of their satinated steel cases, combined with the extreme finesse of the faceted hour-markers – ingeniously reminiscent of the Eiffel tower’s graceful lines – endow these two models with an elegance that is both sleek and contemporary.
With a diameter of 33 mm, the Commander Lady Sunray Satinated and Mother-of-Pearl feature an elaborate automatic movement, while a faceted domed sapphire crystal protects the dial.
Both timepieces are water-resistant up to a pressure of 5 bar (50 m/165 ft). The hour and minute hands, together with the indexes, are treated with white Super-LumiNova® for enhanced readability at night. Both models also come with a strap in black semi-lacquered leather.
An all-steel version of the MIDO Commander Lady Sunray Satinated model is also available, as well as a two-tone model with a rose PVD-treated steel case and bracelet.
A model treated entirely in yellow-gold PVD (case, dial and bracelet) was also created in homage to the original 1959 Commander.

Finely decorated elaborate movement with blued screws, decorated oscillating weight with Geneva stripes and engraved Mido logo. Adjusted on 3 different positions for a high accuracy.
