David Van Heim T1 Tourbillon

The “Made in Holland” T1 Tourbillon measures 48mm in diameter and powered with a manual winding mechanical calibre. This timekeeper makes a bold, virile, attention grabbing statement on the wrist. An aperture on the dial at 12 o’clock left open to view the tourbillon carriage containing the regulating organ beating at the heart of the movement.
In addition to the Tourbillon, the timepiece is fitted with a pointer-type date display in its own counter at 6 o’clock. T1 also boasts a beautiful 29 ½ day lunar calendar, occupying the arc of a circle in the upper segment of the sub-dial. The elegant Côtes de Genève decoration on the movement is visible through a series of pleasingly arranged apertures on the dial. Branching outwards punctually and harmoniously from the discreet openwork, luminescent indices act as time’s markers.
T1 Tourbillon proudly proclaims all the signature codes of the David Van Heim watchmaking brand. This exceptional model is the only piece throughout the collections to sport the distinctive orange and grey of the brand’s logo. The same touch of orange can also be seen on the tips of its arrow-shaped hands.
With its screw-down back and detachable horns maximising the portability of the piece and offering all wearers its full personalisation potential, the case of the T1 moon phases tourbillon, crafted in high-quality stainless steel, boasts a construction assembled from 8 different parts, whose water-resistance has been tested to a depth of 30m (3 ATM). Finally, satin-finish sides and horns alternate with its high-polish bezel surround.
