Christopher Ward’s entry level collection for women, the Emily range receives a subtle but defining update with a new model that distils down the classic essence of the original Emily design while simultaneously adding a contemporary edge through two colour options that provide a perfect year-round accompaniment to whatever fashion’s fickle trends inspire.
Costing just £175, the new models will be offered in new dial and the colour variations. The Art Deco-inspired oblong dial has been restyled to make it even more elegantly restrained. Now, only the ‘XII’ and ‘VI’ numerals in raised nickel decorate the softly feminine pearlescent dial. The new simpler design still expresses style and sophistication.
Responding to customer feedback, the British watch brand has expanded the seasonal colours available across its women’s ranges – further enhancing their versatility – and this strategy is particularly effective with the new Emily design. Although just two new colours are offered initially – a subtle midnight blue and a more restrained neutral nude tone – these two tones provide exceptional adaptability and it is anticipated that many customers will also buy an additional strap in the second colour option to ensure a complementary tone for almost every outfit and occasion.
Picking up the design signals of the subtly opaque dial, the Emily’s signature double-tour strap has also had a makeover. The new straps have a sateen outer backed by a soft touch leather inner with eight holes to fit even the smallest wrist. With a case back curved for a comfortable fit, the new Emily model is equipped with a Swiss made Ronda 751 quartz movement.
