The German watch manufacturer “Alexander Shorokhoff“ is renowned for its unique mechanical watches. A limited edition of “Kostya Tszyu”-watches is going to be released, celebrating the 40th birthday of this exceptional Russian boxer and four-time world championship winner.
The watch has a steel case with vaulted sapphire glass, a screw-type glass back and a black guilloched dial featuring luminescent figures and appliqués. These components work together to give this watch a sporty and at the same time elegant appearance, reflecting Kostya’s style of boxing. The watch boasts multiple functions: the regular display of hours, minutes, and seconds, an added stop-watch function including indication of the seconds, minutes and hours passed, as well as the days of the week and the current month. This multi-functionality is, in a way, representative of Kostya’s versatile character in all realms of life – as a sportsman, sponsor, politician, and businessman.
The limited edition of 270 pieces. corresponds the number of Kostya’s fights during his amateur career. The following series of 34 pieces will be dedicated to his professional career.
