88 RUE DU RHONE is a Swiss watch brand founded by Pierre and Elie Bernheim, grandsons of the reputed watchmaker Raymond Weil.
This young Swiss watch brand, created in 2012, offers urban consumers the elegance and finish of luxury products, with some character and mystery as well.
Launched initially at Selfridges in London in July 2012, the brand has been received extremely well and has expanded to famous retailers such as Bloomingdales, Tourneau, Peter Jackson, Goldsmiths, Consul Group, Harmony, Manor, Galeries Lafayette to name a few.
The brand made its first Basel-world appearance in 2013 by launching their first collection Double 8 Origin, composed of timepieces ranging from 29mm up to 45mm, offering quartz and automatic Swiss made movements.
In 2014, 88 RUE DU RHONE was acquired by My Maracujá Sàrl, a Swiss company founded by Juliane and Pierre Bernheim. The name of the brand, 88 RUE DU RHONE, relates to the famous and prestigious street that runs parallel to Geneva’s river of the same name. Creativity, Swiss excellence, design and know-how are all exhibited in 88 RUE DU RHONE watches and universe.
