MeisterSinger Pangaea Day Date 365
The new Pangaea Day Date 365 is the first MeisterSinger series watch designed in a historical style.
MeisterSinger has been inspiring and delighting enthusiasts with its unmistakable single-hand watches for more than 20 years. The Pangaea Day Date 365 shows how perfectly the design features of historical clocks harmonize with MeisterSinger’s philosophy of time, which has already been proven by several editions in this style.
For the first time, MeisterSinger is launching a watch in this unique style not as a limited edition, but as a series watch.
With its sleek, seemingly flowing case and a diameter of 40 millimeters, the Pangaea Day Date is one of the most elegant timepieces in the MeisterSinger collection. In addition to the variants in the two MeisterSinger corporate colors, sunburst blue and ivory, the 365 variant now adds a nostalgic touch to the range.
The logo and the model name in decorative lettering alone place the Pangaea Day Date 365 models in a time when mail was still delivered by coach.
The overall delicate texture of the dial underlines this character in a perfect way. The date and weekday rings are completely open, giving the dial both structure and depth. The central, specially designed hand with an extra-long overhang calmly rotates around the dial.
The current date and day of the week are clearly displayed just below the 12 o’clock position. The black-and-white look is accentuated by small red highlights.
Each Pangaea Day Date 365 timepiece houses a high-precision Swiss Sellita SW220 automatic movement, specially modified for MeisterSinger’s single-hand watches.
The rotor provides the watch with a power reserve of 38 hours. The movement can be easily viewed through the six-fold screwed glass exhibition case-back.
