Maurice Lacroix expands the AIKON Automatic collection with a new titanium version of the AIKON Automatic Chronograph with a grey and blue dial.
The new AIKON Automatic Chronograph features a 44mm diameter case. Titanium is 50% lighter than steel, a fact which is reflected in the weightlessness of this new version. Titanium also has a darker grey colour, with a more intense matte finish, which enhance its masculine feel even more.
Extremely resistant to abrasion, the watch features a satin finish on the case and bracelet. Finally, with a water resistance up to 200 m, this timepiece is also rustproof, the perfect invitation to dive in.
Its dark grey colour undoubtedly inspired the choice of a dial in the same chromatic style. The surface is embossed with the iconic squared pattern, typical of the AIKON Automatic Chronograph. It features the emblematic Gunmetal grey colour, sunray-brushed to provide infinite reflections.
In contrast, the minute and chronograph hour counters, together with the small-seconds hand, are blue, and enhanced by a polished thread and snailing. Also polished, and in keeping with the AIKON design codes, the six bezel’s arms that punctuate the AIKON dial are a direct reference to the Calypso collection, of which the AIKON represents the contemporary heir.
