This Avon Automatic watch by AVI-8 is available in three versions, each paying tribute to respective aerobatic teams: RAF Blue Diamonds, Belgian Air Force ‘Diables Rouges’ and RAF Black Arrows.

Taking design cues straight from the Hunter’s engine and cockpit, the multi-layered see-through dial framed by a serrated dial ring offers a view deep into the movement. The machined indexes and bold Flieger style hands feature Swiss lume for utmost legibility.

A 44mm robustly manufactured steel case is topped by a domed sapphire lens with anti-reflective coating. The bezel and crown have been machined with a turbine inspired pattern, purposefully echoing the Avon engine.
