RAIDILLON
Born from a passion for racing and cars, the Belgian watch brand Raidillon offers limited series of exceptional Swiss watches and chronographs. Raidillon’ is the name of the most famous corner at Spa-Francorchamps, undoubtedly the drivers’ favourite circuit thanks to its varied layout and technical difficulty. The Belgian circuit was also where the first Raidillon watches were presented in June 2001.
Watches with innovative designs made in Belgium, with high-quality Swiss mechanisms and an international appeal. Aestheticism and technical excellence are right in line with the times – a chic sporty look and excellent value for money-, without forgetting the watch-making tradition from which they originate.
One of the brand’s unique features: like the races with only 55 cars, each numbered model is made in a limited series of 55, not one more. There is no number 13 as it is banned from motor sports! However, there is a number 0 to make up the total of 55. The brand is constantly evolving and every year sees the birth of new models, spread across several collections (Example: Casual Friday, Design, Night Panel, Timeless, Cruise, Havana and Racing collections).
Styled in the same way as dashboard instruments, the Raidillon watch has a sporty and masculine appearance, featuring an easy-to-read face with non-reflecting sapphire glass that shows clear information. Raidillon also produces complications such as a rattrapante chronograph perfectly in line with the brand’s image: exclusivity, innovation and design. Raidillon watches are driven by a high-precision Swiss movement: the mechanical selfwinding movement ETA 2824, which has been manufactured since 1793. As for the chronographs, they have a Valjoux 7750 automatic movement.
Raidillon pulls out all the stops when it comes to embellishing its watches, choosing straps in top-quality leather with thick points of attachment and black edges. The straps are handmade individually, almost madeto-measure, in a Belgian workshop. Each watch strap is hand assembled and sewn in a wide variety of colours of leather and stitching to match the face.
Belgian by birth, the saga of Raidillon watches now takes on a clear international flavour. They are sold in Belgium in a shop of the same name in an excellent location: the prestigious Galerie de la Reine in Brussels. They are also distributed worldwide in a network of multi-brand shops.
