Armand Nicolet L14 Small Seconds Limited Edition
Swiss luxury watch maker Armand Nicolet adds a new model to its O.H.M (Original Historical Movement) collection that offers exceptional mechanical timepieces created using legendary Swiss movements of 1950s and 1960s. The new L14 model features an authentic 1957 calibre housed in a series that is limited to the number of movements found, namely 499.
The O.H.M. (Original Historical Movement) Series feature original historical movements from the 1950’s and 1960’s that are recovered and tuned in Armand Nicolet’s atelier.
These series are produced only in LIMITED EDITIONS because the quantity is determined by the amount of original historical movements still available. The skilled watchmakers manually restore and re-assemble each of these unique pieces. These precious movements are the result of many years of expertise and dedication to the fine art of watch-making.
The uniqueness, the beauty, and the exceptional technical value along with the historical charm are the reasons of the extraordinary success of Armand Nicolet’s O.H.M. Series. Inspired by the very first Limited Edition ever produced by Armand Nicolet, the L14 is the latest collection to join the family.
The skeletonised dial allows full display of the beautiful movement from 1958. For the first time the sign O.H.M. is clearly portrayed on the movement and dial to raise awareness among the lucky owners of these watches of how peculiar and precious the timepieces on their wrists are.
Different materials have been combined for this collection: ranging from the most classic case all in stainless steel to black D.L.C. stainless steel case with rose gold bezel, this series also features brand new combinations such as black D.L.C. case with stainless steel bezel and for the first time on a O.H.M. Series the all black D.L.C. stainless steel case.
The limited amount of watches produced relates to the quantity of original components from 1958 still available in the Armand Nicolet factory. The L14 collection will be produced in 499 pieces.
