BOVET Fleurier AMADEO ®Orbis Mundi® Moon Phase

Launched in 2007, the Orbis Mundi® manufactured by BOVET is becoming increasingly popular among collectors and enthusiasts of fine watchmaking who expect from a timepiece not only precision and exclusivity but also practicality and aesthetic refinement.

Designed and developed to meet today’s needs, the Orbis Mundi® indicates the hours and minutes of a second time zone which can be adjusted by two correctors without any adverse effect on time setting. An aperture indicates the name of the city matching the indication of the second time zone, which is completed by a day-night indicator to avoid any unwanted confusion.

Since 2010, the Orbis Mundi® has been housed in the convertible AMADEO case which allows the timepiece to be converted from a wristwatch to a miniature clock or a pocket watch without the use of tools.

In 2011 the Orbis Mundi® model was enhanced with a phase of the moon indicator indexed to the local time zone. To achieve this, BOVET designers demonstrated their exceptional talent. In addition, the names of the cities in each of the twenty-four zones can be personalised according to the owner’s wishes.
