Atlantic Worldmaster Square Mother-of-Pearl Retrograde Chronograph
Mother-of-pearl and zircons for charm and “Swiss Made” complication movement for distinction: this timekeeper with its glamorous design is a true reflection of the luxury watchmaking tradition practised by Atlantic Watch SA since 1888.
A natural, semi-precious, shimmering material, mother of pearl exploits light and brings depth and movement to the dial. Iridescent with pink or silvery-grey nuances, the choice of the model is then a function of your wardrobe or the colour of your skin. The effect is guaranteed with the mirror-polished 316L steel of the case, whose sobriety illustrates the refined classicism of the Square line.
A perfect square with 31mm sides, the case includes four bevelled profiles, perfect display surfaces to embellish the chronograph with sparkling stones. Four refined zircon baguettes “set in rails” provide an echo to the 8 stones delicately hand-mounted in the hour ring, not to mention each of the stirrup-holders, also clothed in light.
The watch houses an ETA G15.261 quartz chronograph movement. Conceived by the Manufacture to display times measured in a retrograde manner and partly counter-clockwise, the chronograph, when working, appears full of action and motion. A 5-minutes counter at 2 o’clock, a 60-minutes counter at 10 o’clock, both retrograde, a 30-seconds counter in the centre at 180 degrees and a date window at 4 o’clock: the Atlantic know-how does justice to the movement achieving full overall legibility.
The scratch-resistant, anti-reflection sapphire crystal and guarantee of water-resistance to 50 metres thanks to the screw-down case back with its 4 screw systems reflect the effort of the Brand with the sextant to leave nothing to chance on this product with strong added value.
The white leather strap (black on request) accentuates the impact of the mother-of-pearl, recalling its association with maternal values.
