Vacheron Constantin Malte Dual Time Regulator Unique Piece for Action Innocence
For the 10 years of Action Innocence, Vacheron Constantin continues its support for association by making gift of an exceptional single piece to the profit of the auction which will proceed during the Gala evening next on Thursday June 18 in Geneva.
It is a part – single chronometer made especially for the occasion – of which the movement entirely skeleton, presents a decoration made to the hand says “Othoman” in wink to the topic of the evening. Its side of breadth increases engraving « Action Innocence » à 9 heures.
This watch – with the round case of a diameter of 30mm and a thickness of 5.48mm – in white gold 18K polished, has on the top convex glass sapphire just as of a transparent bottom which makes it possible to admire celebrates it mechanical movement with manual reassembly 1003 SQ stamp of prestigious Poinçon of Geneva, a thickness of only 1.64 mm; this last being the flattest movement in the world currently produced. Earlier also Vacheron Constantin had created an unique watch model (The white gold Malte Dual Time Regulator ) during the fund-raising evening for Action Innocence organised under the patronage and in the presence of Bernadette Chirac on Wednesday 26 April in Paris 2006. Juan-Carlos Torres, the CEO of Vacheron Constantin, offered the association his company’s continued support by donating a unique piece for the evening’s auction.
Made especially for the occasion, this white gold Malte Dual Time Regulator features a round case and a genuine mauve mother-of-pearl dial. It has a curved sapphire crystal on the dial side and a flat sapphire crystal on the caseback. The latter is visible through the opening in an officer-type cover in 18K white gold.
The bezel is set with diamonds and, to certify the watch’s uniqueness, the inside of the cover is engraved with “Action Innocence” and the date of this prestigious event. This timepiece houses a VC1206RDT automatic mechanical movement with a 65-hour power reserve and a second time-zone indicator.
