Seagull 1963 has launched a new bronze lume edition of its best-selling Chinese Air Force Chronograph homage.
This timepiece is available in a 38mm diameter case made of bronze, which will develop a unique patina over time, making each watch completely unique.
As the name suggests, it comes with luminous hands and markers. Fashioned in blue color, the baton-shaped hands for hour and minute incorporate Super-LumiNova pigment.
The Seagull 1963 Bronze Lume Edition boasts the emblematic cream dial adorned with applied Arabic numerals and triangle shaped markers. The outer minute track is enhanced with white luminous dots that glow green color in the dark, just like the hour and minute hands.
The fully polished bronze case has a thickness of 13mm and a lug-to-lug length of 45mm. Front side of the watch is protected with a sapphire crystal glass. This timepiece houses the upgraded ST1901 movement with a swan neck regulator.
ST1901 is a manual-winding column wheel chronograph calibre. Manufactured in Tianjin in China with the original machinery from 1955, this iconic movement features 21 purple jewels, a swan neck regulator, and blue screws. Beating at 21,600 BPH, it offers a power reserve of 42 hours. The details of the ST1901 can be admired through the exhibition case back.
The Seagull 1963 Bonze Lume Edition comes with a beige color textile strap with a red stripe, matching the red chronograph hand. It is secured with a gold plated bronze looking buckle. The watch is water-resistant to 3 ATM (30 meters).
