IWC Schaffhausen Portuguese Automatic 2000 Limited Edition

Launched in 2000, the elegant IWC Portuguese Automatic 2000 watch from the Schaffhausen manufactory houses large calibre movement with an 8 1/2 day power reserve. Its winding system is operated by the brand’s own patented Pellaton device. Christened Calibre 5000, it is the brand’s first in-house wristwatch movement.

This timepiece exists in 18K rose gold, platinum and stainless steel case versions. The Portuguese Automatic IW5000 watch features black or silver-color dials with Arabic numerals, small seconds counter at 9 o’clock and the power reserve indicator at 3 o’clock.

The IWC Portuguese Automatic 2000 was produced in limited edition: 1,000 in superfine steel, 750 in pink gold and 250 in platinum. The first 100 of each series were offered in sets in hardwood boxes.
