Harry Winston Premier Majestic Art Deco Automatic 36mm

The new Premier Majestic Art Deco timepiece by Harry Winston pays homage to the signature aesthetic of the Art Deco era.

Housed in a white gold case, the dial reveals its jazzy geometry emphasized with a bold black and white color palette. A careful assortment of black jade, mother-of-pearl and diamonds, set in layers, create a dramatic spectacle of infinite depth and glamour.

The Art Deco spirit dominates the magnificent dial of this timepiece, which features a dynamic arrangement of black and white creative elements. Slivers of white mother-of-pearl and glossy black jade, carefully set in a white gold base, work together to form the abstract background. This technique, known as marquetry, allows the geometric sunray design to come to life.

Paying homage to Mr. Winston’s favorite cut for precious stones, an emerald-cut black jade sits center stage on the top half of the dial. Its octagonal facets are framed by round brilliant diamonds, arranged in a cut-down setting that promises the utmost sparkle and light.

Harry Winston Premier Majestic Art Deco Automatic 36mm

Once again, Harry Winston’s gem-setters have found innovative ways to use mother-of-pearl. Grey and white mother-of-pearl cabochons sit between brilliant-cut diamonds. The sizes of both the pearl cabochons and the diamonds vary, adding visual complexity, volume and rhythm.

Since its debut in 1989, Harry Winston’s Premier Collection has been the designated series to showcase various artistic forms, and the Premier Majestic Art Deco is no exception. Instantly recognizable by the distinctive diamond-set lugs that reimagine the entrance to Harry Winston’s Fifth Avenue Flagship Salon, the 18-karat white gold case is set with 57 brilliant-cut diamonds on the bezel with truncated diamonds in the crown and tips of the lugs.

Harry Winston Premier Majestic Art Deco Automatic 36mm

The Premier Majestic Art Deco Automatic 36mm is powered by a high-end Swiss mechanical automatic movement with flat silicon balance spring. It provides a generous 72-hour power reserve. The movement, with its 18-karat white gold skeletonized rotor and refined hand finishes, can be admired through the sapphire crystal case back.

In keeping with the black and white color scheme, a black pearl alligator strap accompanies the timepiece and attaches to the wrist with a white gold ardillon buckle set with 17 brilliant-cut diamonds.

Harry Winston Ocean Biretrograde Black & White Automatic 36mm

Harry Winston expands its Ocean Biretrograde family of watches by adding two new white gold models, bedecked in bold black and white. Designed with a striking combination of diamonds, mother-of-pearl and black lacquered detailing, these luxury sport timepieces boast a powerfully dynamic personality.

The Ocean Biretrograde is Harry Winston’s designated collection for luxury sport timepieces. Designed for everyday wear with a resilient automatic movement and water-resistant up to 100 meters, the Ocean Biretrograde also features fascinating complexity. Equipped with two retrograde complications, one displaying the days of the week and another the small seconds, the layout of the Ocean Biretrograde is both bold and unique. These new Ocean Biretrograde Black & White appear in a sophisticated, eye-catching colorway.

Harry Winston Ocean Biretrograde Black & White Automatic 36mm

In jewelry and watchmaking, black and white are often strategically used to bring drama and energy to design. Sharp contrasts, created by juxtaposing black and white creative elements, work especially well on timepieces with complications. The Ocean Biretrograde Black & White benefits from its striking two-tone look, as both visibility and legibility are greatly enhanced.

Embellished with iridescent mother-of-pearl, radiant white diamonds and shiny black detailing, the dials of both timepieces are a study in contrasts. Both feature a central white mother-of-pearl disc and glossy black lacquered ring on the perimeter of the dial. Thicker at the top, the ring tapers as it reaches the lower half of the dial, making room for the date aperture and biretrograde functions.

Harry Winston Ocean Biretrograde Black & White Automatic 36mm

The hours and minutes are displayed in a circular excentered counter at 12 o’clock with a slightly recessed mother-of-pearl center. Framed by a halo of brilliant-cut diamonds, the counter is crowned by a signature Harry Winston emerald-cut diamond. The hour indexes, set against a black lacquered or mother-of-pearl track, depending on the model, are crafted in 18K gold and beautifully faceted to reflect light.

In the lower half of the dial, a counter on the right indicates the retrograde days of the week, while the leftmost counter notes the retrograde small seconds. The beauty of the biretrograde display is that the counters’ hands advance in opposite directions. The retrograde seconds hand is in constant motion, moving along its 30-second track before jumping back, counterclockwise, to zero. The hand indicating the days of the week advances every 24 hours and performs its sweeping jump on Sunday at midnight.

Furthering its efficiency and practicality, the Ocean Biretrograde features a date window at 6 o’clock framed with diamonds and housed under a magnifying lens.

Harry Winston Ocean Biretrograde Black & White Automatic 36mm

The Ocean Biretrograde Black & White case is crafted in 18-karat white gold and set with 57 brilliant-cut diamonds. Measuring 36mm in diameter, the most distinctive feature of the case is the prominent diamond-set structure surrounding the crown – a reference to the arched entrance to Harry Winston’s iconic Fifth Avenue Flagship Salon.

These new Ocean models house a high-end automatic movement capable of powering the different functions for up to 65 hours. Crafted in Switzerland with the industry’s latest technology, the watches feature a balance spring made from silicon to improve stability, performance, accuracy and resistance to magnetic and thermal fluctuations. The movement features refined finishes, including circular Côtes de Genève decoration on the bridges, circular graining on the base plate, and an 18-karat white gold rotor.

The diamond-set lugs extend from the case to embrace the stylish black and white rubber straps. To complement the sporty-chic nature of the timepieces, the rubber straps feature a dynamic weave effect in their center – a first for Harry Winston. The black weave has a sleek white rubber border, while the white weave has a black border. The straps are attached to the wrist with an 18-karat white gold ardillon buckle set with 42 brilliant-cut diamonds.

Both models of Ocean Biretrograde Black & White are limited editions of 100 pieces.

Harry Winston Premier Lotus Automatic 36mm

The Harry Winston Premier Lotus made its debut in 2019 and returns this year in a larger format of 36mm. Once again, the beauty of the lotus flower is celebrated on the dial, which features a romantic pastel color palette.

The beauty of the lotus flower is an enduring source of inspiration at Harry Winston, where there is a fine jewelry collection, Lotus Cluster, dedicated to its form. Harry Winston timepieces for women share a strong connection to the House’s signature fine jewelry language. On the dial of the Premier Lotus, Mr. Winston’s pioneering design technique comes to life, as different diamond cuts and unique mother-of-pearl petals are grouped and set at varying angles to create three-dimensional floral sculptures.

Harry Winston Premier Lotus Automatic 36mm

With a dynamic arrangement of petals in contrasting colors, textures and shapes, the two lotus flowers on the dial seemingly rise from pearly waters. Crafted in 18-karat gold, the individual petals feature white and pink mother-of-pearl, 153 brilliant-cut diamonds, hammered white gold, and 10 striking marquise-cut diamonds. By playing with asymmetry, angles and colors, Winston designers bring a wonderful sense of naturalism to the scene.

To create the illusion of rippling water, fine lines were sculpted into the fragile mother-of-pearl background. The lines begin under the hour and minute hands and grow in size as they reach the outer limits of the pond. At 12 o’clock, a large emerald- cut diamond crowns the excentered hours and minutes, a tribute to Mr. Winston’s preferred diamond cut.

Harry Winston Premier Lotus Automatic 36mm

Measuring 36 mm in diameter, the white gold case of the Premier Lotus is set with 57 brilliant-cut diamonds, including the hallmark truncated diamond in the crown and four truncated diamonds on either end of the strap attachments.

On the reverse side, a sapphire crystal reveals the Swiss-made mechanical automatic movement. Fitted with a flat silicon balance spring to ensure lasting precision, the movement offers a robust power reserve of 68 hours. The movement is beautifully finished with a rose gold skeletonized rotor, circular Côtes de Genève decoration on the bridges, rhodium-plated parts, and circular graining on the base plate.

The Premier Lotus Automatic 36mm watch is fitted with a matching pearly pink alligator leather strap with an ardillon buckle is set with 17 brilliant-cut diamonds. The watch is water-resistant up to 30 meters.

High Jewelry Timepieces by Harry Winston – Winston Kaleidoscope High Jewelry Watch Black & White and Winston Kaleidoscope High Jewelry Watch

Harry Winston presents five new extraordinary high jewelry timepieces, inspired by a kaleidoscope’s magical show.

Housed in platinum cases, the dials of the Winston Kaleidoscope timepieces are fully set with 71 brilliant-cut diamonds and the iconic white gold Harry Winston Emerald applique at 12 o’clock.

The marvelous gem-setting on the case recalls the dramatic high jewelry creations upon which the reputation of the House was built. In true Winston fashion, stones in varying cuts and sizes are free of heavy metal settings and transformed into three-dimensional masterpieces characterized by movement and light.

Three of the models feature a striking combination of round brilliant, pear-shaped and marquise-cut stones and recall Mr. Winston’s love for “clustering,” or creating dynamic arrangements of varying stones. Through the magnificent work of Harry Winston’s gem-setters, the underlying platinum structure fades into the background, allowing each individual stone to revel in its natural beauty.

The Winston Kaleidoscope High Jewelry Watch Black & White features multi-shaped diamonds and black spinels. In a fine show of Mr. Winston’s signature clustering technique, the elegant two-tone arrangement comes to life. A closer look reveals two hearts, at either end of the case, made from two pear-shaped diamonds.

The same design adorns two additional models. The first is an all-diamond high jewelry timepiece that features a spectacular halo of the world’s rarest white diamonds. 40 pear-shaped diamonds, 10 marquise-cut diamonds, and 105 round brilliant diamonds shine in a unique formation on the case and offer incomparable radiance.

Harry Winston Ocean Biretrograde Automatic 36mm

The Harry Winston Ocean collection, which celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2018, now welcomes two Biretrograde models into this sporty yet elegant watch family. In these new versions, shimmering mother-of-pearl dials mingle with round brilliant diamonds in an 18-karat white or rose gold case.

True to their heritage, the timepieces bear two hallmark Ocean complications: excentered hours and a double retrograde display. The hours and minutes counter dominates the top half of the dial, while the retrograde days of the week are at 4 o’clock and the retrograde seconds counter is at 8 o’clock.

Harry Winston Ocean Biretrograde Automatic 36mm new model 2020 white gold

The beauty of biretrograde displays lies in the opposing choreography of the hands; the day-of the-week hand and the seconds hand advance in opposite directions. The retrograde seconds hand is in constant motion, tracing the 30-second track before jumping back, counter-clockwise, to zero. The hand indicating the day of the week advances every 24 hours and performs its sweeping jump on Sunday at midnight. For increased functionality, a date window sits at 6 o’clock under a magnifying lens.

Harry Winston Ocean Biretrograde Automatic 36mm new model 2020 rose gold mother of pearl dial

The background of the dial features natural mother-of-pearl. Glowing with its signature iridescence, the nacre shines in all four counters. A total of 99 brilliant-cut diamonds highlight the counters, while an emerald-cut diamond, Mr. Winston’s favorite shape, crowns the hours.

The luxurious 36mm gold cases with their distinctive arches at the crown – a tribute to the doorway of Harry Winston’s Fifth Avenue Flagship Salon – are set with the sparkle of 57 brilliant-cut diamonds.

The Ocean Biretrograde timepieces are equipped with a Swiss automatic movement featuring a balance spring made from silicon. The automatic movement with its skeletonized rose gold rotor and circular Côtes de Genève decoration on the bridges can be admired through the sapphire crystal case back.

The rose gold model is fitted with a pearly beige alligator strap, while the white gold model features a pearly white strap. Both timepieces are secured to the wrist with a gold ardillon buckle set with 42 brilliant-cut diamonds.

Designed for everyday wear, these glamorous yet versatile timepieces are water resistant up to 100 meters.

Precious Cluster by Harry Winston

Harry Winston presents its high-jewelry watch Precious Cluster, which offers an extravagant show of fiery white diamonds. Adorned with magnificent diamonds and set in peerless platinum, every detail of the Precious Cluster recalls the legacy of America’s legendary jeweler, Harry Winston.

One of Mr. Winston’s most famous breakthroughs in jewelry design is known as clustering. By creating a unique grouping of varying stones set at different angles, he transformed fine jewelry into three-dimensional works of art. His clustering technique has led to the creation of iconic jewels teeming with volume and light.

Precious Cluster by Harry Winston

A celebration of Mr. Winston’s gem-setting tradition, the Precious Cluster by Harry Winston, features diamond clusters at either end of the case. Recreated with ten pear cut and two trilliant-cut diamonds, the dimensional design can be appreciated from all angles. Set in minimal metal, the stones reflect and refract the utmost light.

Precious Cluster by Harry Winston

Mr. Winston’s preferred diamond cut – the emerald-cut – is remembered in the platinum emerald-shaped case. To highlight its octagonal geometry, the case is invisibly-set with 44 baguette-cut diamonds on the bezel and sides. The invisible setting, the most difficult and involved setting technique, magically offers the illusion of free-floating gemstones. The dial of this sparkling timepiece is fully set with 111 brilliant-cut diamonds and features the traditional 18-karat gold emerald-shaped House logo at 12 o’clock.

The Precious Cluster watch houses a high-end Swiss quartz movement, designed for carefree maintenance. The timepiece comes with a black satin strap and platinum buckle set with six baguette-cut diamonds.

Harry Winston Premier Hypnotic Chrysanthemum Automatic 36mm

Harry Winston expands the prestigious Premier collection by adding a new high jewelry timepiece Inspired by the chrysanthemum flower. This timepiece highlights the expertise of Harry Winston’s gem-setters who recreated a chrysanthemum flower inspired floral arrangement utilizing opals and diamonds.

The watch incorporates the innovative gem-setting style of Mr. Winston. Taking cues directly from nature, Mr. Winston believed stones should dictate design and float freely in near invisible settings. Like fresh floral bouquets, his gemstone ‘clusters’ would become the distinctive style of the House of Harry Winston.

Harry Winston Premier Hypnotic Chrysanthemum Automatic 36mm

Marrying the rich, three-dimensional language of Harry Winston High Jewelry with the precision and elite mechanics of House timepieces, the Premier Hypnotic Chrysanthemum presents the best of both worlds.

Opals are magical gemstones, characterized by their unique bursts of color. The opals in the Premier Hypnotic Chrysanthemum were each polished by hand before being applied on the dial.

Bursting with intense blue and green color, the spectacular opals are enhanced by the carefully set white diamonds. To create great depth on the dial, Winston designers worked with unique layers and gem-setting techniques. The first layer is composed of 60 baguette-cut diamonds set on an 18-karat gold base.

Rising from this majestic diamond platform, 32 marquise-cut and 160 brilliant-cut diamonds are interspersed between the magical opals. Once again, by layering stones of different cuts and sizes, Harry Winston’s talented gem-setters have achieved an incredible sensation of volume. Both models feature ‘peacock’ opals, a name that refers to the multiple tonalities of blue and green. Here, the color blue – a reference to the House’s brand color – plays a dynamic, ever-changing game, alternating from deep midnight blue to neon turquoise and from shimmering aqua to luminous green, depending on the light.

The luxurious 18-karat white gold case of this high jewellery watch is set with 161 baguette-cut diamonds. In an invisible setting, baguette-cut diamonds sit on the bezel, sides of the case, and on the distinctive arches at either end of the case, designed to recall the arched entrance to Harry Winston’s Fifth Avenue Flagship Salon.

In addition to the sparkling case, the watchstrap features truncated brilliant-cut diamonds at the four points of attachment. Further, the crown is topped with a truncated dark blue sapphire or light blue sapphire, depending on the model.

The Premier Hypnotic Chrysanthemum models are powered by a high-end Swiss mechanical automatic movement with a flat silicon balance spring and a robust 72-hour power reserve. The sapphire crystal on the case back reveals the fine finishes on the movement, including the circular Côtes de Genève on the bridges, circular graining on the base plate, rhodium-plated parts, and a skeletonized 18-karat rose gold rotor with the letters HW.

The straps of both Premier Hypnotic Chrysanthemum models echo the color scheme of the dial; the model with lighter opals is presented with a turquoise pearly alligator strap, while the darker model comes with a dark blue pearly alligator strap. Both are attached to the wrist with a gold ardillon buckle set with 28 baguette-cut diamonds.

Harry Winston Premier Collection – Premier Kaleidoscope Automatic 36mm & Premier Precious Kaleidoscope Automatic 36mm

Debuted in 2019 as part of Harry Winston’s high jewelry timepiece offering, Kaleidoscope returns this year in six 18-karat gold Premier models with a Swiss mechanical automatic movement. Bold colors and geometric shapes, accented with diamonds and precious stones; enliven these hypnotizing timepieces inspired by their magical namesake.

Premier Kaleidoscope Automatic 36mm (Dark Blue, Orange, Red and Light Blue Versions)

The Premier Kaleidoscope models explore the delicate and iridescent qualities of mother-of-pearl in an entirely new way, with fresh hues, shapes and patterns. Bursting with rich eye-catching color, the striking dial of the dark blue version plays with blue, pink, turquoise and green tones. What may appear to be precious gemstones are actually carefully crafted nacre sculptures.

To create the dial’s hypnotizing picture, its 18-karat gold base is first layered with white mother-of-pearl. Next, a geometric lace, in the same material, is placed on top. Extremely delicate, this lacy blue appliqué comes from a single piece of nacre and demands the great skill and precision of Harry Winston’s craftsmen.

Alluring pink, turquoise and green cabochons, crafted from thick pieces of mother-of-pearl, emulate the shine of precious gemstones, while the 70 brilliant-cut diamonds add bright light to the dial of this spellbinding creation. Layers of shimmering beaded mother-of-pearl and raised cabochons add volume and depth to the dynamic dial.

A pearly blue alligator leather strap, matching the deep blue details on the dial, completes the composition. The strap is attached to the wrist with an 18-karat rose gold ardillon buckle set with brilliant-cut diamonds.

Three additional colourful variations in orange, red and light blue tones complete the vibrant Premier Kaleidoscope Automatic 36mm series.

Premier Precious Kaleidoscope Automatic 36mm (White gold and Red gold Versions)

While still drawing inspiration from the magical images produced by a kaleidoscope, the two Premier Precious Kaleidoscope timepieces feature their own characteristics and are both limited to 5 pieces.

The white gold version spotlights an intense dark blue appliqué of mother-of-pearl. Semiprecious gemstones, like turquoise and malachite, cut into pear and marquise-shaped cabochons, appear in striking blue and green shades. Blue beaded mother-of-pearl cabochons, 72 electric-blue Paraiba tourmalines, six green marquise-cut emeralds, 12 pear-cut diamonds and a dazzling touch of 40 brilliant-cut diamonds complete the scene.

A rich combination of shapes, colors and textures enliven the dial of the sensational 18K rose gold version. Building upon its yellow nacre backdrop, the dial is set with a dizzying array of intense hues.

Composed of citrine, blue and white mother-of-pearl cabochons, carnelian, six marquise-cut orange spessartites, six pear-cut diamonds, 12 fiery-red marquise-cut rubies, six elongated baguette-cut diamonds, six brilliant-cut green tsavorites, and a flurry of 150 brilliant-cut diamonds, the dial is an extraordinary show of color-play and creativity.

The Kaleidoscope timepieces boldly integrate the shapes and colors at the core of Harry Winston’s brand DNA. Blue, for example, is a signature House color and recalls the legendary Hope Diamond that Mr. Winston famously acquired in 1949. The Premier case and its diamond-set lugs are inspired by the arched entrance to Harry Winston’s Fifth Avenue Flagship Salon. Further, the 57 brilliant-cut diamonds on the case and precious stones on the 6 different Premier Kaleidoscope dials celebrate Harry Winston’s legacy as “The King of Diamonds.”

The Premier Kaleidoscope models are powered by a high-end Swiss mechanical automatic movement with a flat silicon balance spring and a 72-hour power reserve. The movement, with its 18-karat rose gold skeletonized rotor and refined finishes, can be admired through the sapphire crystal case back.

Harry Winston Project Z14

Harry Winston presents Z14, its latest edition from the brand’s Project Z family.

Introduced in 2004, the Project Z series from Harry Winston makes the most of Zalium, the ultra light, corrosion-resistant alloy used to craft each case. Another series signature, the Project Z14 is limited to 300 units.

In Project Z14, a retrograde second with a 30-second range, new openwork structure and dominant gray color palette punctuated by shades of blue make their mark. Made from Zalium, the Project Z14 case’s shapes, lugs, crown and signature arches recall the entrance to Harry Winston’s Fifth Avenue Flagship Salon.

Harry Winston Project Z14

This year, different from past years, the case features a chamfered bezel and arches to pay homage to the beveled finishes on the dial. With a thickness of 10.7 mm, this case successfully reconciles technical watchmaking with exemplary ergonomics. The 42.2 mm diameter case is free from overhangs or excess and strikes the perfect balance between complexity and comfort.

The Project Z14 dial functions as a performance space, telling a tale about watchmaking with extraordinary visual support. Technical, artistic and structural principles work in harmony to create the unique identity of this timepiece, which features strong colors and finishes, as well as shapes, angles and depth.

Harry Winston Project Z14

Harry Winston blue is used for the hands and indexes located in the excentered counter at noon and for the seconds arch at 120 degrees, graduated from 0 to 30 seconds. Red is used for the seconds hand and gray dominates the remainder of the dial, as black accents emphasize the dynamic details and levels. Black appears in the grid of the excentered dial, which is revealed in a new light. The fresh design features horizontal and vertical segments that work together to create a linear picture.

The unique dial consists of stages, facets, bevels, slopes and angles. All of these elements come together in an openwork structure that floats above the movement, which is visible and features the signature radiant Cotes de Genève finishes. With polishing, varnishing, recesses and an almost incalculable number of angles, the iconic quality of Project Z14 comes to life.

Harry Winston Project Z14

The watch houses the HW2202 caliber equipped with a flat silicon balance spring and an openwork white gold rotor. Beats at 4 Hz, this movement provides a power reserve of with 65 hours.

Its unique complication allows the hours and minutes to be excentered, and features a retrograde second. After 30 seconds, the red seconds hand instantly returns, due to a system with a snail-shaped cam and return spring. The mechanics of this retrograde second are visible behind its counter.

The color blue, a brand color, also appears on the rubber bracelet, which is structured like a textile bracelet.

The Ultimate Kaleidoscope by Harry Winston (High Jewelry Timepieces Collection)

A miniature masterpiece of extraordinary beauty and charm, the Ultimate Kaleidoscope recreates the magic of a childhood toy in Harry Winston’s high jewelry language. A pendant, a timepiece and a functioning kaleidoscope, this playful yet lavish accessory redefines the very essence of luxury.

Over the past few years, Harry Winston has unveiled marvelous objets d’art, exclusive creations like the Broadway Glasses binoculars, the Precious Signature automaton and the New York Companion clutch. These refined accessories, which also function as high jewelry timepieces, encapsulate the spirit of luxury to perfection.

Playful in spirit yet superbly executed, the Ultimate Kaleidoscope is the latest member of this elite family of precious objets d’art. Inspired by a historic piece in Harry Winston’s archives, the Ultimate Kaleidoscope is a scale reproduction of a kaleidoscope crafted in 18-karat yellow gold and decorated with a mesmerizing setting of diamonds and precious stones. Beyond a bejeweled replica of the external contours of a kaleidoscope, this small, but impressive, canister is also a fully functioning timepiece.

The toy kaleidoscope was invented in 1817; its name derives from the Greek word kalos for beautiful, eîdos for shape, and scope meaning to look. An optical toy, a kaleidoscope produces symmetrical patterns, as mirrors reflect different shapes of colored glass at the base of the tube. Working with the same form and honoring its original function, Harry Winston’s master craftsmen take the kaleidoscope into the realm of high jewelry.

The timepiece is nestled at the very top of the cylinder in a bed of glistening white mother-of-pearl and crowned with the gold Harry Winston Emerald applique. The superior section of the kaleidoscope is embellished with 100 baguette-cut diamonds, invisibly set around the circumference of the case. The attention to detail is exquisite and even the yellow gold handle is set with brilliant-cut diamonds and punctuated with two blue sapphires at either end.

The total height of the 18-karat gold cylindrical body is just under 63mm and has a diameter of 22mm. The external decoration mimics the symmetrical formations seen inside a kaleidoscope. Starting at the top of the column, pieces of white mother-of-pearl fall like stage curtains hemmed with baguette diamonds. Below this spectacular scenery is a more geometric picture, created with rhomboid gold compartments, each in turn filled with a medley of brilliant and baguette-cut diamonds, blue and yellow sapphires, and electric Paraiba tourmalines.

The zigzagging blue sapphires are a reference to Harry Winston’s fondness for blue gemstones, in particular the 45.52-carat Hope Diamond. The base of the column features the same design as the top but inverted and with an additional wider row of baguette-cut diamonds. The base can be rotated to change the scenery, so Harry Winston’s designers chose to invert the diamonds to ensure a better grip.

The top of the creation can be twisted and removed to enjoy the patterns formed by the kaleidoscope. A true Harry Winston gem, the Ultimate Kaleidoscope comes to life through an ingenious arrangement of mirrors and precious gemstones. Every twist of the cylinder offers a new mesmerizing arrangement of vibrant stones and powerful explosion of colors.

A charming objet d’art, a timepiece, a pendant and a fully functioning kaleidoscope, the Ultimate Kaleidoscope by Harry Winston is presented with a gold chain or a satin ribbon.

Winston Kaleidoscope High Jewelry Watch by Harry Winston

Four extraordinary high jewelry timepieces, inspired by the magical spectacle of a kaleidoscope, make their debut this year. Precious gemstones, clustered around the case, recreate an explosion of color and volume. A dazzling red carpet companion or bright evening accessory, the Winston Kaleidoscope showcases the creativity and gem-setting expertise that characterize the House of Harry Winston.

The four sparkling high jewelry beauties are adorned in scintillating ball gowns crafted entirely from diamonds and colored gemstones. Housed in platinum cases, the dials of the four Winston Kaleidoscope timepieces are fully set with 71 brilliant cut diamonds and the iconic white gold Harry Winston Emerald applique at 12o’clock. The marvelous gem-setting on the case recalls the dramatic high jewelry creations upon which the reputation of the House was built. In true Winston fashion, stones in varying cuts and sizes are free of heavy metal settings and transformed into three-dimensional masterpieces characterized by movement and light.

Two of the models feature round brilliant, pear-shaped and marquise-cut stones, and recall Mr. Winston’s love for “clustering,” or creating the dynamic arrangements that might be found inside a kaleidoscope. Through the magnificent work of Harry Winston’s gem-setters, the underlying platinum structure – in itself a work of art – fades into the background to let each individual stone revel in its natural beauty.

The all-diamond high jewelry timepiece features a spectacular halo of white diamonds. In a fine show of Mr. Winston’s signature clustering technique, 40 pear shaped diamonds, 10 marquise-cut diamonds, and 105 round brilliant diamonds shine in a unique arrangement on the case, offering incomparable brilliance and radiance. A closer look reveals two hearts, at either end of the case, made from two pear-shaped diamonds.

A second diamond-driven model features the same stone arrangement, but with a burst of color. Set with 85 brilliant-cut diamonds, 20 brilliant-cut Brazilian Paraiba tourmalines, 20 pear-shaped diamonds, 10 pear-shaped blue sapphires, 10 pear shaped tsavorites, 5 marquise-cut diamonds, and 5 marquise-cut pink sapphires, it is an absolute vision.

Like the blades of a windmill, the latter two Winston Kaleidoscope timepieces feature energetic gem setting on the case to convey a hypnotic sense of motion. Emanating from the diamond center, a variety of precious gemstones gather speed and gradually grow in size.

The spiraling energy is enhanced by color, with one model featuring 42 tsavorites, 29 blue sapphires, 28 orange spessartines, 14 diamonds and 14 yellow sapphires. A second variation displays a different color palette, with 36 blue sapphires, 28 diamonds, 21 aquamarines, 21 pink sapphires, 14 rubies and 7 tsavorites.

All four Winston Kaleidoscope models are equipped with a high-end Swiss quartz movement and are presented on satin straps with a platinum buckle set with 29 brilliant-cut diamonds.

Harry Winston Premier Lotus Automatic 31mm

Harry Winston Premier Lotus Automatic 31mm features a dynamic floral sculpture rising from the pearly waters of the dial. Recalling different chapters in the scintillating history of the House of Harry Winston, the majestic petals of the lotus flower dazzle with their color, light and volume. Presented in either 18-karat white or rose gold, the eternal bloom of the flower is matched by a sophisticated mechanical movement for a lifetime of precision.

Every detail of the Premier Lotus timepiece remembers the rich history of the House of Harry Winston. Inspired by the Lotus Cluster fine jewelry collection, this timepiece captures the beauty of the same aquatic flower in a vibrant arrangement that recalls Mr. Winston’s signature clustering technique. The lotus flower, a prevalent motif in Indian culture, is a symbol of regeneration, as it rises every morning from the dark, muddy waters to extend its immaculate petals in the sunlight.

The lotus flower depicted on the dial is a miniature floral sculpture composed of layered petals that rise to greet the viewer from a pool of mother-of-pearl. Each petal is sculpted in 18-karat white or rose gold and filled with precious and semi-precious materials. The rich kaleidoscope of colors, shapes and textures creates a dial of fascinating volume and dazzling light.

The white gold model celebrates the majesty of the lotus flower with a blue color palette achieved using different varieties of mother-of-pearl. Interspersed throughout the bloom, are petals set with brilliant-cut diamonds, and others filled with martelé white gold. The rose gold model plays with more earthy tones and features petals in different shades of taupe mother-of-pearl, golden tiger’s eye and martelé rose gold.

No Harry Winston timepiece would be complete without the House’s famous diamonds; these dials shine with the radiant light of 147 brilliant-cut diamonds and seven striking marquise-cut diamonds set near the center of the flower.

The first timepiece collection launched by the House in 1989, the Premier collection features three diamond-set arches placed at 12 and 6 o’clock on the case, evoking the shape of the entrance to Harry Winston’s Fifth Avenue Flagship Salon. Measuring a delicate and feminine 31 mm in diameter, the gold case is set with 58 brilliant-cut diamonds and features the hallmark, truncated diamond at the crown and four truncated diamonds at either end of the strap attachments.

The hour and minute functions of the Premier Lotus are powered by a high-end Swiss mechanical automatic movement. The latest technology, in the form of a flat silicon balance spring, will ensure years of impeccable service and help optimize the overall isochronism of the movement. The sapphire crystal on the case back reveals the fine finishes on the movement and the skeletonized 22-karat rose gold rotor engraved with Harry Winston.

The straps of both models echo the color scheme of the dial; the white gold model is presented with a pearly blue alligator strap, while the rose gold version comes with a pearly brown alligator strap. Both are fastened to the wrist with a matching gold ardillon buckle set with 15 brilliant-cut diamonds. The Premier Lotus Automatic 31mm is also available with a solid 18-karat gold bracelet or one that is fully set with diamonds for the ultimate homage to Mr. Winston.

Harry Winston Avenue Classic Moon Phase

Harry Winston introduces the Avenue Classic Moon Phase, an elegant timepiece that recreates some of the House’s most cherished motifs. Adorned with scintillating diamonds, the vibrant mother-of-pearl background brings the magic of a moon phase and the inimitable allure of Harry Winston to the wrist.

The color blue is intrinsically associated with Harry Winston, the famous American jeweler who acquired the legendary 45.52-carat blue Hope Diamond in 1949. A color that has long been at the heart of the brand, blue appears in a dynamic two-tone color scheme on the dial, created using hand-painted mother-of-pearl to reveal soft, cloud-like formations within a deep sky. Sunbeams, which appear to radiate from the signature Harry Winston Emerald at the top of the dial, get progressively larger as they journey to the border of the dial. The contrast of dark blue and lighter blue rays provides a scenic backdrop for the diamond clusters decorating the dial. This iteration of the Avenue is also available with an 18-karat rose gold case that instead features a majestic Havana brown mother-of-pearl dial.

Clustering, a signature design technique of the House, was developed by Mr. Winston in the early 1940s, as a way to free precious stones from the static, traditional settings of the time. By alternating pear, marquise and round brilliant diamonds, and setting them at different angles, clusters of stones were transformed into three-dimensional sculptures, full of movement and life.

To recreate the vibrant beauty of clustering, a spray of brilliant-cut diamonds emanates in all directions from the bright diamond star that surrounds the 18-karat gold Harry Winston logo, with some framed by a gold pear-shaped silhouette to accentuate the motif. The moon phase complication is located in an aperture at 6 o’clock and shows the moon journeying against a night sky illuminated with stars.

To enhance the beauty of the moon phase, a new caliber that maximizes its size has been developed. Fitted with a high-end Swiss quartz movement, the timepiece displays central hour and minute hands, a moon phase and a small seconds hand above a semi-circle of brilliant-cut diamonds at 6 o’clock.

Celebrating its 20th anniversary, the Avenue collection welcomes a host of new models, as it enters its next decade of life. Named after Fifth Avenue – one of the most prestigious retail destinations in the world and home to Harry Winston’s New York Flagship Salon – the Avenue Timepiece collection evokes the stylish, streamlined geometry of the Art Deco period, during which Harry Winston founded his namesake business in 1932.

Placed inside a small arch at 12 and 6 o’clock on the case, two brilliant-cut diamonds recall the grand arched doorway that leads into the Fifth Avenue Salon, a gateway to the exclusive world of Harry Winston. Set with 28 brilliant-cut diamonds and a truncated diamond on the crown, the case is crafted to follow the natural contours of the wrist.

The 18-karat white gold Avenue Classic Moon Phase is presented on a pearly blue alligator leather strap while the rose gold model is presented on pearly brown alligator leather. As an ultimate homage to the King of Diamonds, the 18-karat gold folding buckle is set with six brilliant-cut diamonds.

Both cases can also be fastened to bracelets in either solid 18-karat gold or 18-karat gold fully set with diamonds.

Harry Winston Avenue Classic 20th Anniversary Moon Phase

Harry Winston celebrates the 20th Anniversary of its Avenue collection with a celestial white gold timepiece featuring a poetic moon phase complication and allusions to the architecture of the House’s famous Fifth Avenue Flagship Salon. Painting the colors of the sunrise with mother-of-pearl and precious gemstones across the dial and bracelet, this limited edition timepiece, of just 20 pieces, marks the dawn of a new decade for the iconic Avenue.

Released twenty years ago, the Avenue collection pays tribute to the address that witnessed the rise of Harry Winston’s extraordinary jewelry empire. Founded in New York in 1932 at the apogee of the Art Deco movement, Harry Winston eventually established his namesake brand on the city’s prestigious Fifth Avenue. The inspiration for the rectangular case is two-fold, taking design cues from the elegant, streamlined styling associated with the Art Deco period and appropriating architectural elements from Harry Winston’s New York Salon.

The rectangular case of the Avenue Classic 20th Anniversary Moon Phase timepiece is set with 50 brilliant-cut diamonds on the bezel, case bands, and crown. At the top of the case, marked by two brilliant-cut diamonds, are the hallmark arches of the Avenue collection, a tribute to the grand arched doorway that leads to the Fifth Avenue Salon, a gateway to the glamorous world of Harry Winston. The elongated 18-karat white gold case of the timepiece is slim and expertly designed to sit perfectly on the wrist.

The dial is crafted in natural mother-of-pearl, delicately hand-painted in a gradation of colors that transition from dark blue at the base to an ethereal shade of purple at the top. The captivating sunrise features an aperture for the moon phase complication. Marking the 20th anniversary of the Avenue collection, this limited edition timepiece features a moon phase counter that has been maximized to magnify the beauty of our celestial neighbour. The moon completes its cycle against a sparkling blue night sky accompanied by stars.

Diamonds are perennial favorites at Harry Winston and play a significant role on the dial. Crowning the 18-karat white gold Harry Winston Emerald applique at 12o’clock are brilliant-cut diamonds in marquise-shaped white gold settings that recall Harry Winston’s signature clustering technique. A closer inspection reveals that the cluster of diamonds framing the logo together with the vertical rows of diamonds in the center of the dial, recreate the arched doorway of Harry Winston’s New York Salon. The door is flanked by more cluster-style diamonds, and just below the moon phase aperture, a semi-circle of diamonds serves as the small seconds counter on the dial.

Once again, the expertise of Harry Winston’s gem-setters comes to life on the extraordinary 18-karat white gold bracelet, which features 216 blue and purple sapphires, in varying shades, in unique two-row arrangements, and 66 brilliant-cut diamonds. The fully-set bracelet is composed of three flexible white gold links, with the outer links recreating the shape of Harry Winston’s famous arched entrance.

Like the dial, the bracelet highlights the art of color gradation through precious gemstones. With varying intensity and saturation, the blue and purple sapphires on the bracelet echo the color scheme of the dial and gently transition from darker, more intensely saturated gemstones at the top, to softer hues that eventually fade into the brilliant white diamonds near the clasp.

The Avenue Classic 20th Anniversary Moon Phase is a limited edition of 20 timepieces and is fitted with a high-end Swiss quartz movement.

Precious Emerald by Harry Winston (High Jewelry Timepiece collection)

Inspired by the natural world and adorned with Mother Nature’s most precious diamonds, two novelties join Harry Winston’s High Jewelry Timepiece collection. Recreating motifs that are dear to the House, the Precious Emerald flaunts a stunning platinum bracelet set entirely with marquise-cut diamonds for a dazzling touch of red-carpet glamour.

The petite case size of the Precious Emerald, coupled with its opulent diamond-set bracelet, position this timepiece as a high jewelry creation that pairs perfectly with other pieces from Harry Winston’s high jewelry collections.

The petite platinum case features an elegant octagonal silhouette, a direct reference to Mr. Winston’s fondness for the emerald cut. Framed by 20 brilliant-cut diamonds set on the case, the dials, in both blue and green, are crafted in hand-painted mother-of-pearl. Used widely across Harry Winston timepieces, mother-of-pearl, with its iridescent quality, provides a dreamy background that plays with light. The information on the dial is deliberately limited to hour and minute indicators and Harry Winston’s hallmark emerald-shaped white gold applique at 12 o’clock.

Adorning the case at 5 and 10 o’clock are ten splendid marquise-cut diamonds. Diamonds, in varying sizes, fan out from the confines of the case with dramatic flair in dynamic arrangements that recreate Harry Winston’s iconic Cluster motif.

Mr. Winston developed the Winston Cluster in the early 1940s after admiring the random way in which snowflakes had settled on a decorative holly wreath. Breathing fresh air into jewelry design, Mr. Winston and his designers pioneered the clustering technique, in which individual diamonds, not rigid metal settings, would dictate jewelry design. By placing diamonds at different angles and on different planes, clusters of stones were transformed into lively three-dimensional sculptures. An iconic aesthetic in Harry Winston’s jewelry portfolio, the Winston Cluster continues to be reimagined in new generations of red carpet jewels.

The gem-set bracelet of the Precious Emerald is an artistic masterpiece. It glows with the light of 126 marquise-cut diamonds that flow from the extremities of the case all the way to the discreet clasp, in varying but determined sizes. The platinum supporting structure and claws are invisible to the naked eye, allowing the endless white diamonds to dominate the scenery. To ensure flexibility and comfort, the individual marquise-cut diamonds are set to move ever so slightly in unison with the wearer.

Eight brilliant-cut diamonds on the clasp complete this high jewelry timepiece, fitted with a high-end Swiss quartz movement for carefree maintenance.

Harry Winston Premier Hypnotic Opal Mosaic Automatic 36mm

Harry Winston presents the Premier Hypnotic Opal Mosaic, a spellbinding timepiece that celebrates Mr. Winston’s passion for motion and color in fine jewelry. Crafted in luxurious 18-karat white gold, a spellbinding profusion of baguette-cut diamonds and vivid blue sapphires swirls against an iridescent opal background, diffusing color and kinetic energy in all directions.

Blue is a key color in Harry Winston’s universe and recalls the spectacular and rare blue Hope Diamond that the ‘King of Diamonds’ famously acquired in 1949 and ultimately donated to the Smithsonian Institution in 1958. Another hallmark trait of the House is the way in which diamonds are transformed into three-dimensional jewelry sculptures, flowing with movement and light. The Premier Hypnotic Opal Mosaic taps into these two signature codes and reveals a mesmerizing blue dial with an animated arrangement of precious gemstones that seem to spin under your very eyes.

The sparkling blue and green background on the dial is crafted from iridescent opal. One of the most chameleonic and captivating gemstones on Earth, opals flash a rainbow of colors that vary according to the light.

Like forces of nature, the dial’s hypnotizing whirlpool pattern comes to life through a series of white gold quadrilaterals that lessen in size as they voyage towards the center. Framed in white gold, the outermost areas of the design are set with 72 baguette-cut diamonds and 72 baguette-cut blue sapphires, while the center features a wreath of 24 princess-cut diamonds. The opals maintain their iridescence, interspersed between the precious gems. The dynamic composition animates the dial with a profound sensation of motion and depth. Taking the theme of motion one step further, a small star crowns the base of the hour and minute hands and rotates in a clockwise direction to indicate that the mechanical automatic movement is running.

Since its debut in 1989, the Premier collection has been the designated timepiece to showcase various artistic forms. Instantly recognized by the distinctive diamond-set lugs at 12 and 6 o’clock that replicate the shape of the arched entrance to Harry Winston’s Fifth Avenue Flagship Salon, the luxurious 36 mm 18-karat gold case of the Premier Hypnotic Opal Mosaic is fully adorned with an abundance of baguette-cut diamonds in an invisible setting. The case and case sides’ gleam with the light of 161 magnificent baguette-cut diamonds, and the lugs are embellished with four truncated brilliant-cut diamonds and a truncated blue sapphire – matching the color scheme of the dial – is nestled in the crown.

The Premier Hypnotic Opal Mosaic Automatic 36mm is powered by a high-end Swiss mechanical automatic movement with an 18-karat rose gold rotor and refined hand finishes, all of which can be admired through the sapphire crystal case back. Equipped with a flat silicon balance spring to ensure superlative precision, the creation has a generous power reserve of 72 hours.

The timepiece is presented with a blue pearl alligator leather strap and is attached to the wrist with an 18-karat white gold ardillon buckle set with 28 baguette-cut diamonds. The Premier Hypnotic Opal Mosaic is a limited edition of only 8 pieces.

Harry Winston Midnight Retrograde Second Automatic 39mm

Conjuring a starry night sky with twinkling blue aventurine and diamonds, the newest model in the Midnight collection is a modern-day classic. A timeless design that is sophisticated and feminine, the dial features a retrograde seconds complication that evokes the sparkling silhouette of Harry Winston’s historic tiaras. Animated by a Swiss automatic movement, the timepiece is designed for everyday wear and a lifetime of precision.

Nothing speaks to royalty or glamour more than a scintillating diamond tiara, which served as the inspiration for this new Midnight timepiece and celebration of Harry Winston’s legendary hair accessories. Seven brilliant-cut diamonds, with a larger diamond in the center, trace the silhouette of a tiara to form the retrograde 30- seconds display at 6 o’clock. Mainly reserved for watches in the Ocean collection, the retrograde seconds complication provides continuous animation on the dial, as the small seconds hand performs its counter clockwise motion before springing back to the start position.

Like a serene night sky, the blue aventurine on the dial sparkles with the light of infinite stars. Some of the stars appear larger and closer, while others gleam as distant specks of light, creating a profound sensation of depth. The brightest star shines at noon in the form of an emerald-cut diamond that is synonymous with the House of Harry Winston and indicates the presence of an automatic movement inside the case. The indexes at 3, 6 and 9 o’clock are also set with a row of three brilliant-cut diamonds, while the remaining hour markers are crafted in tapered 18- karat gold that has been faceted for volume and applied to the dial.

The Midnight collection is characterized by the timeless appeal of its classic round cases. The radiant 39 mm 18-karat white gold case of the Midnight Retrograde Second Automatic glows with the light of 91 brilliant-cut diamonds set on the bezel and lugs. The signature codes of the brand are firmly in place, as three larger-sized diamonds, set in the three arches near the crown, recall the shape of the famous arched doorway leading into Harry Winston’s New York Flagship Salon.

A high grade Swiss-made automatic movement powers the hours, minutes and the retrograde function. With its generous power reserve of 65 hours, the movement also features a silicon balance spring to ensure excellent precision over the years. The sapphire crystal on the case back allows a view of the 18-karat skeletonized rose gold rotor and the other refined decoration on the movement including circular Côtes de Genève, rhodium plating, and circular graining.

The Midnight Retrograde Second Automatic 39mm is presented on a matching pearly blue alligator leather strap with a white gold ardillon buckle.

Harry Winston Premier Precious Peacock Automatic 36mm

Ravenna, the Italian city renowned worldwide for its mosaics, is the latest destination on Harry Winston’s journey to source unique artistic crafts for its timepieces. The millenary art of glass micromosaic is behind the captivating dials of the Premier Precious Peacock timepieces.

Nature has always been a source of inspiration at the House of Harry Winston and a spectacular high jewelry opal peacock brooch that Mr. Winston designed and then donated to the Smithsonian in 1977 served as the muse for the Premier Precious Peacock timepieces. Presented in two different color schemes, the peacocks on the dials come to life through the delicate art of miniature glass mosaic setting.

The latest chapter in Harry Winston’s artistic crafts saga takes place in the historic city of Ravenna, renowned worldwide for its mosaics. A craft form from ancient times, mosaics are composed using tesserae, small pieces of colored glass, ceramic or stone. The tesserae are cut by hand and then applied on an adhesive surface to create a design. Widely used in Ancient Greece and Rome, the art of mosaic flourished under the Byzantine Empire. Ravenna, the seat of the Roman Empire in the 5th century and then of Byzantine Italy until the 8th century, took the art of mosaic to unprecedented levels, creating masterpieces for the walls and ceilings of the early Christian monuments in the city.

During the first stage in the art of micromosaic, colored glass blocks are mixed in specific proportions to obtain a desired color. To make this mixing possible, the glass is heated until it becomes soft and malleable.

From there, the craftsmen are able to work the material to form a very specific shape that lends itself to stretching into long, thin rods or threads. Once the glass cools, it is cut into small pieces and placed on the gold adhesive-treated base with the aid of tweezers. Following time in the oven to secure the glass to the base, the surface is polished until it gleams like precious stones.

The Premier Precious Peacock timepiece is presented in 36 mm cases crafted in either 18-karat white or 18-karat rose gold. The peacock’s main features are outlined in yellow gold and then filled with colorful glass mosaic and precious stones. Perched on the right side of the dial, the peacock’s magnificent tail dominates the scenery. The vibrant blue and green color palette on the white gold model is more naturalistic, while the rose gold model presents a more imaginative and feminine interpretation of the peacock through pink, raspberry and white color tones.

By playing with different shades in a given color scheme, and positioning varying shapes of glass tesserae at different angles – very much like the Winston Cluster technique – the master craftsmen create an extraordinary sensation of movement. For added brilliance, the peacock’s eye, crest and long flowing tail are highlighted with 152 brilliant-cut diamonds, while the characteristic ‘eyes’ of the peacock’s tail are accented by vivid blue sapphires on the white gold version, and rich red rubies on the rose gold.

Since its debut in 1989, Harry Winston’s Premier collection has been the designated timepiece to showcase different artistic crafts. Instantly recognizable by the distinctive diamond-set lugs at 12 and 6 o’clock that recall the arched entrance to Harry Winston’s Fifth Avenue Flagship Salon, the luxurious gold case of the Premier Precious Peacock Automatic 36mm is set with 57 brilliant-cut diamonds, including the five truncated diamonds on the crown and lugs.

The Premier Precious Peacock is powered by a high-end Swiss mechanical automatic movement with an 18-karat rose gold skeletonized rotor and refined hand finishes, all of which can be admired through the sapphire crystal case back. Equipped with the latest technology in the form of a flat silicon balance spring and a generous power reserve of 72 hours, this movement is destined to keep impeccable time on a par with the everlasting beauty of the dial.

Both models of the Premier Precious Peacock are limited editions of 30 pieces. The white gold model is presented on a pearly blue alligator strap, the rose gold on a pearly raspberry alligator strap, with matching gold ardillon buckles set with 17 brilliant-cut diamonds.

Harry Winston Premier Precious Micromosaic Automatic 36mm

Harry Winston expands their Premier Collection™ by presenting the Premier Precious Micromosaic Automatic 36mm timepiece.

Precious gemstones are synonymous with Harry Winston, and so are precious art forms, like the spectacular mosaic glass setting on the dials of these four gold Premier Precious Micromosaic models. An inimitable luxury made by hand in Ravenna, Italy, the vibrant patterns on the dial are highlighted with quintessential Harry Winston diamonds in an artistic marriage that is destined to shine for a lifetime.

The latest chapter in Harry Winston’s unique Métiers d’Arts saga takes place in Italy, in the historic city of Ravenna, known worldwide for its mosaics.

An ancient art, mosaics are made from small pieces of colored glass, ceramic, stone or other materials known collectively as tesserae. The tesserae are then applied on an adhesive surface to create a design. Widely used in Ancient Greece and Rome, the art of mosaic flourished under the Byzantine Empire. Ravenna, the capital city of the Roman Empire in the 5th century, and then Byzantine Italy through the 8th century, took the art of mosaic to unprecedented levels, creating masterpieces for the local walls and ceilings of the early Christian monuments.

Finding new and original ways to animate timepiece dials is a true passion at Harry Winston, whose designers turned to the impressive art of glass micromosaic for their newest Premier timepiece. The four unique models feature timeless handcrafted dials that juxtapose bold color palettes with contrasting fragments of translucent and opaque glass, to create geometric designs that are fascinating and unique.

To start, artisans in Ravenna select colored glass blocks that, when mixed in the right proportions, create the perfect color. To make the mixing possible, they heat the glass until it is soft and malleable. Once the desired color is obtained, they work the material to form a very specific shape that lends itself to stretching into long, thin rods or threads. The glass is then left to cool, cut into small pieces and arranged on the gold base of the dial with the aid of tweezers. This fully handcrafted process is repeated for each desired color and shape. Finally, the surface is sealed in an oven and polished until it gleams like precious stones.

The Premier Precious Micromosaic timepiece is presented in both 18-karat white and
18-karat rose gold cases, and each dial composition is limited to just 30 pieces. All of the models flaunt vibrant colors and abstract geometric designs, but the dials with red and turquoise tones have a discreet floral motif in the upper left-hand area of the dial.

Looking closely, triangular-shaped compartments, punctuated with 14 brilliant-cut diamonds, house an even smaller setting of glass rhomboids and triangles. The larger triangles on the dial are defined by thin strips of colored glass, functioning like the individual cells used in cloisonné enameling.

The rose gold model of the Premier Precious Micromosaic, with a brown, tan and white dial, and its sister, the white gold version with a blue and white dial, display a combination of geometric glass shapes and colors. Once again, tiny triangles and rhomboids in different colors are arranged in a dynamic, abstract arrangement and embellished with 36 brilliant-cut diamonds set in V-shaped patterns that flutter across the dial. These unique, inimitable works of art are protected under a sapphire crystal glass with an anti-reflective coating, guarding their beauty against the effects of time and light.

Since its debut in 1989, Harry Winston’s Premier collection has been the designated timepiece to showcase various artistic forms. Instantly recognizable by its distinctive diamond-set lugs at 12 and 6 o’clock that replicate the shape of the arched entrance to Harry Winston’s Fifth Avenue Flagship Salon, the luxurious gold case of the Premier Precious Micromosaic Automatic 36mm is set with 57 brilliant-cut diamonds.

The Premier Precious Micromosaic Automatic 36mm is powered by a high-end Swiss mechanical automatic movement with an 18-karat rose gold skeletonized rotor and refined hand finishes, all of which can be admired through the sapphire crystal case back. Equipped with the latest technology in the form of a flat silicon balance spring, this movement is destined to keep impeccable time on par with the everlasting beauty of the dial.

All four models of the Premier Precious Micromosaic are limited editions of 30 pieces. The pearly alligator leather strap designed to match the color scheme of the dial is attached to the wrist with a gold ardillon buckle set with 17 brilliant-cut diamonds.

Harry Winston Emerald Collection – Emerald Automatic 33mm & Emerald Quartz 33mm

Harry Winston expands the elegant Emerald collection with the incorporation of larger timepieces. The distinctive octagonal case shape and unique dial were inspired by Mr. Winston’s favorite diamond cut: the emerald cut. Contemporary yet classic, this stylish companion is available with an automatic or quartz movement.

Previously featuring only petite, very feminine frames, the Emerald collection now welcomes a larger, 33 mm case available in 18-karat white and rose gold. The bold octagonal architecture of the case is highlighted by beveled edges and a lustrous shine. Like a faceted gemstone, the sloping sides on the dial add depth and volume. Taking the emerald motif a step further, the classic gold Harry Winston logo at 12 o’clock is balanced by a beveled date window at 6 o’clock.

The Emerald Automatic timepieces offer the hours, minutes, seconds and date, and are presented in two colorways; rose gold with a silver opaline with sunray satinbrushed finish and white gold with a gradient blue hue that darkens toward the edges. Another distinguishing feature of the Emerald Automatic is the chapter ring for enhanced precision. In keeping with its elegant nature, the timepiece features hour markers that are crafted in either rose or white gold, faceted and applied to the dial.

Fitted with a high-end Swiss mechanical automatic movement, the Emerald Automatic has a generous power reserve of 72 hours, long enough to keep perfect time through the weekend. The underside of the case offers a view of the 18-karat white gold skeletonized rotor and luxury finishes, including Côtes de Genève, rhodium plating and circular graining on the movement. Like all Harry Winston mechanical timepieces, the movement features a flat silicon balance spring to ensure superlative performance over the years.

A quartz version of the Emerald timepiece with hours, minutes and date functions is also available. Crafted in 18-karat rose or white gold, two of the four models are set with 94 brilliant-cut diamonds on the case and lugs.

There is also a slight variation on the blue dial of the white gold models, which features a sunray with satin-brushed finish.

All of the new Emerald models come with elegant alligator leather straps — blue for the white gold and brown for the rose gold — and are secured to the wrist with a fresh gold ardillon buckle. The new buckle is engraved with “Harry Winston” and crafted to match the bevelled edges of the case and dial.

Harry Winston Ocean Sparkling Biretrograde Automatic 42mm

Harry Winston’s new Ocean model sails into the collection with a scintillating deck made from ruthenium crystals and diamonds. A first in watchmaking, the unique use of ruthenium crystals in the Ocean Sparkling Biretrograde Automatic provides a shiny, textured background for the impressive double retrograde display and off-centered hours and minutes.

The Ocean collection is Harry Winston’s designated luxury sports series and combines resilience with sophisticated design. It is also the collection that showcases some of the most respected complications in watchmaking. The Ocean Sparkling Biretrograde features two hallmark Harry Winston complications: a double retrograde display and excentered hours and minutes. Designed for everyday wear and water-resistant up to 100 meters, the two new models, both in 18-karat gold, honor Mr. Winston’s passion for diamonds with their rich setting of baguette and brilliant-cut stones.

Always on the lookout for novel techniques and materials that will animate timepiece dials, designers at Harry Winston were struck by the sparkling personality of ruthenium crystals, a crystalline form of ruthenium. Like sunshine hitting the ocean, ruthenium crystals capture light in unexpected ways. Beyond their appealing sparkle, they have a sandy, slightly gritty texture that adds visual interest and depth to the dial. The crystals together with the 127 brilliant-cut diamonds set on the dial, bring color and light to this spectacular creation.

The excentered hours and minutes counter commands the upper part of the deck and is emblazoned with the emerald-shaped gold Harry Winston applique at 12 o’clock. White gold indexes, separated by brilliant-cut diamonds, mark the hours, while a chapter ring tracks the minutes. Two arcs framed with brilliant-cut diamonds, house the retrograde days of the week and seconds. Animating the dial with motion, the hands of both retrograde functions advance in opposite directions.

The retrograde seconds function traces the arc from zero to thirty, and then jumps back to zero in a counter-clockwise motion. The days of the week counter advances every 24 hours and performs its sweeping jump on Sunday at midnight. Functionality meets beauty in a handy date window with a magnifying lens at 6 o’clock and again in a blue-glowing luminescent material that adorns the hands, ensuring accurate readings, even in the dark.

Housed in luxurious 18-karat white or rose gold cases, the new 42mm Ocean Sparkling Biretrograde models are adorned with a magnificent setting of 67 baguette-cut diamonds. Artfully set on the bezel and lugs, baguette-cut diamonds are also featured inside the distinctive arches at the crown, a nod to the shape of the arched doorway leading to Harry Winston’s Fifth Avenue Flagship Salon.

To ensure that all of the functions – hours, minutes, retrograde seconds, retrograde date and days – work with the utmost precision, the Ocean Sparkling Biretrograde timepieces are equipped with a high-end Swiss automatic movement with a generous power reserve of 65 hours. The balance spring is made from silicon, a cutting-edge material that is lighter than metal, impervious to magnetic fields and corrosion, shock-resilient, flexible and less prone to deformation. This avant-garde material will ensure years of impeccable service and optimize the overall isochronism of the movement.

Visible through the sapphire crystal case back, the movement is beautifully decorated with circular Côtes de Genève motifs, rhodium plating and circular graining. Echoing the sparkling dial, the skeletonized gold rotor (white or rose gold, depending on the case material) is decorated with blue or brown ruthenium crystals.

The Ocean Sparkling Biretrograde Automatic 42mm is presented on an elegant brown or blue alligator strap and is fastened to the wrist with an 18-karat gold folding buckle set with 24 baguette-cut diamonds. Each model is a limited edition of 20 pieces.

Harry Winston Project Z13 Limited Edition

Project Z13, the latest creation from Harry Winston Project Z collection, boasts an architectural structure that is expertly orchestrated to simultaneously project an impression of asymmetry and order. Featuring a moon phase display and a retrograde date, a first for the collection, its supporting structures rely on the aesthetic language of mechanics. Still made of Zalium™ with a high-mech spirit, Project Z13 continues on its radical path, confirming that Harry Winston’s Zalium™ timepieces can continue to surprise and transform.

Project Z13 reaffirms the fundamental design principles behind the Project Z collection with precision and force. While architectural structure is one of the founding features of the collection, it reaches new heights with this timepiece. Supported by transverse arms, two reading elements occupy the top and bottom of Project Z13. At twelve o’clock, the traditional open-worked dial, with its excentered hours and minutes, stands out as a bold design element in the collection. At 6o’clock, the House of Harry Winston presents a moon phase display for the very first time in this collection committed to Zalium™. Isolated to better stand out, this feature appears to be suspended and independent thanks to its graphic design.

The image selected for the moon is an aesthetic hallmark of the House and an affirmation of its symbols. In order to make the first moon phase display in the Project Z collection as unique as possible, the House opted for its Shuriken symbol, a star that has been part of the Project Z design vocabulary from the very beginning. And to round out this interpretation of Harry Winston’s exclusive moon, the design is not circular, but dodecagonal in form. Its 12 facets hug the cutout of the moon cover, the fixed section that reveals the display of the moon’s crescents. Through this design, the moon display reflects the dual nature of Project Z13: a timepiece as smooth as it is meticulous.

The HW3202 caliber also has a retrograde date, a display feature that is used repeatedly in the collection. Its wide range occupies the entire lower half of the dial. In addition to these functional areas, which are intended to provide information at a glance, the HW3202 caliber is visible through the large openings afforded by the supporting structures of the dial. This reveals the caliber in all its splendor, enabling the finishes of the timepiece to be admired down to the smallest detail, including the radial Cotes de Geneves motif.

A central theme in the Project Z collection, the materials used in Project Z13 take center stage. First, the 42.2 mm case is made entirely of Zalium™, the light and powerful signature Harry Winston alloy, whose initial provided the name for the collection. In addition, for the first time this Project Z timepiece also uses carbon elements. The four arms that hold the moon cover and the outer section of the chapter ring are fitted with carbon fiber inserts.

This blue, a symbol of the House of Harry Winston, is frequently highlighted in Project Z. For the thirteenth edition, this color is present on the hands, the background of the starry moon disc, the date area, the Harry Winston emerald located at twelve o’clock and the elements surrounding the excentered dial. Finally, it is also found in the top-stitching of the black rubber-and-calfskin strap. This particular blue is lively and vibrant, embodying the energy that is unique to Project Z.

Just like its predecessors, Project Z13 is a sporty model. This complicated timepiece is designed for people with an active lifestyle who are also concerned about ergonomics and comfort. In terms of exclusivity, this timepiece is limited to only 300 pieces, a feature that has been common among the Project Z timepieces for thirteen years.

Harry Winston Histoire de Tourbillon 10

In its new horological masterpiece, Harry Winston uses four distinct tourbillons. Arranged in perfectly symmetrical order, the four independent, adjacent cores rotate in 36 seconds, their high-precision steps unified by a series of three differentials. Together, they make Histoire de Tourbillon 10 a timepiece dedicated to superlative chronometry, with a unique design.

Having previously used tourbillons with single, double or triple axes, combined (or not) with single or double tourbillons or a carousel, Harry Winston’s latest creation makes a big impression with a new achievement in watchmaking. For the first time ever, a wristwatch produced as a series is equipped with four tourbillons. This achievement, which translates into an equally impressive design, represents a milestone in the story of the Histoire de Tourbillon collection.

Histoire de Tourbillon 10 marks the 10th anniversary of the Harry Winston collection, dedicated to the reigning complication in contemporary fine watchmaking. This year, the collection culminates in two timepieces — 10 of each — and a special edition Winstonium model, limited to just one unique piece.

The Histoire de Tourbillon 10 watch comes dressed in a rectangular case measuring 53.3 mm wide and 39.1 mm. The four tourbillons of the HW4702 caliber, which has no less than 673 components, can be seen in the four corners of the case, housed in a glass box of impressive proportions and supported by two transverse bridges. Carved like three dimensional wings, open-worked and sculptural, they round out the impression of symmetry that emerges from Histoire de Tourbillon 10.

The idea behind using multiple regulating mechanisms is to take advantage of the qualities of each one and harness their unique way of reacting to gravity, the effects of which the tourbillon is designed to offset. Thus, they do not mark the same time, but the same time must be given, so the operation of these mechanisms is unified by three differentials. The first is connected to the two tourbillons on the left, while the second is connected to those on the right side of the case. The third, which is large and located in a central position, does the job of averaging the two previous differentials and transmitting its information to the juxtaposed hands.

The tourbillons are a major source of precision for Histoire de Tourbillon 10, but they are not alone. Chronometry relies on other factors, including the quality of the power flow that feeds the regulating mechanisms. The closer this flow is to complete consistency, the smoother and more accurate the movement of the tourbillons is.

This phenomenon is made possible by two pairs of fast-winding barrels that are overlaid, mounted successively, and then connected to the tourbillons. As a result, the energy is not shared across the four corners of the movement, but distributed as required.

The Histoire de Tourbillon 10 dial is a single component sapphire piece, with complex and perfectly symmetrical volumetry. Its central part is a hollow circle that hosts the 12 hour markers for the chapter ring. It extends upwards and downwards through a rectangular extension that carries the two large numbers 6 and 12. The bezel of this exceptional timepiece also uses volume in a distinctive way because it is chamfered and beveled, and features greater elevation at 6 and 12 o’clock. At these two sensitive points, the bezel is marked by two notches, which, together with the variation in height, trace the three Harry Winston arches. This reference to the architecture of the entrance to the iconic Fifth Avenue Showroom is one of the specific signatures of Harry Winston timepieces.

The surface coloring of the HW4702 caliber rounds out the personality of the three versions of Histoire de Tourbillon 10. The unique Winstonium piece can be recognized by its two large blue tourbillon bridges, a color borrowed from the gearwheel bridges inside the case, while the rest of the platinum is completely rhodium-plated. The white gold model features rhodium-plated tourbillon bridges and a dark gray platinum. This shade is repeated on the back of the barrel bridge.

Finally, the version with the rose gold case inverts its colors in the barrel bridges and features a rhodium-plated platinum. The strap of each Histoire de Tourbillon echoes the various models. The Winstonium and white gold versions are mounted on alligator leather with large scales and topstitched with a 950 platinum thread. And, the pink gold version launches a new bracelet color: black with copper highlights enhanced by topstitching in rose gold thread. Elegant, sophisticated touches and a profound attention to the tiniest details allow for a series of truly unique timepieces.

Harry Winston Avenue C™ Mini Moon Phase

Celebrating its 20th anniversary, the Avenue collection from Harry Winston revisits its most successful models, including the delightful Avenue C™ Mini Moon Phase. The combination of bold geometric shapes and Harry Winston’s hallmark diamonds adds volume and light to this classic timepiece. Presented in 18- karat white gold with a blue mother-of-pearl dial or in 18-karat rose gold with a Havana-brown mother-of-pearl dial, the hypnotic moon phase complication adds the ultimate feminine touch.

This year, the dominant design feature of the Avenue C™ Mini Moon Phase is the juxtaposition of different geometric shapes. The rectangular lines that characterize the case of the Avenue collection evoke the streamlined design codes of the Art Deco period, which includes 1932, the year that Mr. Winston founded his jewelry empire.

The case is embellished with 47 brilliant-cut diamonds; the distinctive diamond-set arches at 12 and 6 o’clock are designed to recreate the shape of the grand arched doorway that leads into Harry Winston’s famous Fifth Avenue Salon.

Moving from the case towards the dial, the eye is immediately drawn to the bold oval-shaped center. Intersected by four diagonal lines – in faceted rose or white gold – the top of the oval features the octagonal Harry Winston gold Emerald applique – a direct reference to Mr. Winston’s favorite diamond cut – and the lower half is occupied by a circular structure for the moon phase display. Within the oval, diamonds are set in a disrupted pattern to expertly reveal a mother-of-pearl background.

Light is a central theme at Harry Winston, with surfaces, large and small, designed to radiate the utmost light through masterful gem-setting. Another material, prized for its iridescent qualities, is mother-of-pearl and it is used creatively across the timepiece collection. The color blue is intrinsically associated with the House of Harry Winston and recalls the rare 45.52-carat blue Hope Diamond that Mr. Winston acquired in 1949. The white gold model of the Avenue C™ Mini Moon Phase glows with a particularly intense shade of blue and is at once classic and timeless. The rose gold model displays a more contemporary brown mother-of-pearl dial.

The dynamic arrangement of shapes is matched by an equally dynamic setting of stones. Eight baguette-cut diamonds, set at 3 and 9 o’clock, and a flurry of 96 brilliant-cut diamonds in different sizes, embellish the geometric motifs and infuse light and volume. As they interact with the light, the mother-of-pearl and diamonds create a constantly changing picture.

The moon phase complication appears in a circular shape, on the lower half of the central oval. The moon is crafted in 18-karat gold and completes its cycle from new moon to full moon against a mother-of-pearl sky. In order to incorporate a complication of this nature into such a small space, Harry Winston’s Swiss watchmakers had to keep the dimensions of the movement to a minimum, and in doing so created one of the smallest existing movements with a moon phase complication.

Powered by a high-end Swiss quartz movement, the Avenue C™ Mini Moon Phase comes with matching alligator straps in pearly blue for the white gold model and pearly brown for the rose gold model. The timepiece is secured to the wrist with a matching gold folding buckle set with six brilliant-cut diamonds. Both cases can also be fastened to bracelets available in either solid 18K gold or 18K gold fully set with diamonds.

Harry Winston Midnight Yozora Automatic

Harry Winston unveils the Midnight Yozora, a new timepiece design, presented in a 42 mm case for men, and a 39 mm case for women. The result of a novel partnership with the Japanese company Nakaya, the dial is a miniature work of art, created entirely by hand using ancient Japanese decorative techniques. An ode to New York’s night sky, the timepieces are fitted with a Swiss automatic movement and come in a special presentation box, along with a matching Nakaya fountain pen.

Yozora is the Japanese word for night sky, and the inspiration behind the dials of these breath-taking newcomers to the Midnight collection. Uniting urushi lacquer, raden mother-of-pearl, and the ‘sprinkled picture’ art of maki-e, the dial of the Midnight Yozora recreates the famous arched entrance to Harry Winston’s Fifth Avenue Salon, in New York City. Light radiates in all directions from the doorway and meets an inky black night sky punctuated with iridescent mother-of-pearl and illuminated by Harry Winston’s insignia emerald-cut diamond at 12 o’clock.

The House’s designers continually strive to find original ways to embellish timepiece dials, and travel to all corners of the globe in search of unique Métiers d’Arts or artistic crafts. The Midnight Yozora timepieces are the result of Harry Winston’s partnership with Nakaya, a Japanese fountain pen company that specializes in bespoke creations. Known as the finest pen brand in the world, Nakaya, whose company motto is “for your hand only”, calibrates and adjusts every detail to match the owner’s unique writing style. A small team of highly skilled Japanese artisans creates each pen entirely by hand.

Traditional crafts are a source of national pride in Japan, with specific legislation in place to protect and preserve them. Lacquerware is one of the seven traditional Japanese art forms and a Nakaya speciality. Urushi, as it is called in Japan, was used in the making of the dials of the Midnight Yozora. Urushi is a natural sap extracted from the lacquer tree. The thick, sticky and semi liquid material creates a lustrous and glossy protective coat that is highly appreciated in Japanese decorative arts. The application process is extremely involved and time consuming, as the material is not only difficult to apply, but also requires anywhere from three weeks to a month to dry, per layer. The Midnight Yozora timepieces have at least nine separate layers of urushi lacquer on their dials.

Maki-e is another ancestral Japanese artistic technique and involves the sprinkling of metallic powder over damp urushi to create patterns. The Midnight Yozora timepieces feature maki-e on the lower section of their dials to suggest a sensation of light emanating from the doorway of Harry Winston’s Fifth Avenue Salon. In makie, artisans fill a fine bamboo canister with palladium and platinum powder and then sprinkle it over the urushi lacquer until the desired effect is obtained. The doorway, beams of light and even the indexes have been meticulously painted by hand using palladium maki-e.

Another Japanese artistic technique employed for the dial was raden, in which inlays of mother-of-pearl are pressed into the urushi lacquer to add a wonderful iridescent glow to the scene. First, artisans had to find mother-of-pearl with like colors and reflections. Then, the delicate mother-of-pearl had to be cut into tiny slivers and applied to the dial. The doorway on the dial of the Midnight Yozora reveals a delightful blue-hued scene on the men’s version and feminine pink tones on the women’s timepiece. The doorway color scheme continues in the upper part of the dial, where parallel inlays of mother-of-pearl light up New York’s night sky.

Both the 42mm and 39mm models are presented in 18-karat white gold cases from Harry Winston’s Midnight collection. The 39 mm model is set with 91 brilliant-cut diamonds on the bezel and lugs, while the 42 mm model features a solid, polished gold case. Three larger diamonds, set in the three arches near the crown, recall the shape of the famous arched doorway leading into Harry Winston’s New York Salon.

The large emerald-cut diamond at 12 o’clock on the women’s version is not only a reference to Mr. Winston’s love for emerald-cut stones, but also a nod to the high end Swiss automatic movement that powers the watch. Equipped with a generous power reserve of 72 hours and a flat silicon balance spring, the movement in both timepieces will provide years of precision.

The signature attention to detail that characterizes all Harry Winston creations is present in the Midnight Yozora. It features the circular Côtes de Genève motif, rhodium plating and circular graining, which can be viewed through the sapphire crystal case back along the rose gold open-worked rotor on the 39 mm, and the white gold rotor on the 42 mm. To honor the partnership with Nakaya, the back sapphire crystal bears the logo of the famous Japanese fountain pen maker.

The 42 mm Midnight Yozora comes with a blue alligator strap, while the 39 mm comes with a complementary pearly pink alligator strap. Both are enhanced by a white gold ardillon buckle.

The Midnight Yozora creations are presented with a matching Nakaya fountain pen and delivered in a beautiful handmade bamboo box. Mirroring the decorative techniques and color schemes employed on the dial, the Nakaya pen is a fitting companion to the timepiece and comes in a miniature kimono pouch for protection. Without a clip, the pen’s design continues uninterrupted. Harry Winston’s hallmark emerald-shaped logo adorns the cap, in white gold for men, and in the form of an emerald-cut diamond for women.

The bamboo box features three stacked drawers containing the timepiece, the pen, ink cartridges, a converter and the Harry Winston documents relative to the creations. The cover of the box was designed for function and can be converted into a stand for the fountain pen.

The Midnight Yozora 42mm and 39mm sets are limited to just ten pieces and cannot be purchased individually.

Harry Winston Ocean Biretrograde Automatic 36mm

The House of Harry Winston celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Ocean Collection with the new Ocean Biretrograde timepiece. Classic Ocean family complications, including retrograde displays and excentered hours and minutes, command center stage in this new iteration with a sea of vibrant colors, mother-of-pearl and a refreshing splash of diamonds.

2018 marks the 20th anniversary of Harry Winston’s sporty Ocean Collection. Renowned for its bold design, complications, and resilient characteristics, the Ocean Collection welcomes two new 18-karat gold ladies’ timepiece models, which are adorned in color and light. Navigating smoothly between high mechanical and high jewelry waters, the intensely saturated colors and diamonds provide a dramatic backdrop to the action on deck.

This year, color is the main theme in the Ocean Collection, as demonstrated by the bright blue and burgundy mother-of-pearl dials. The 18-karat white gold model, with a burgundy dial, is intrepid yet feminine, while the rose gold model transports the wearer directly to the heart of Harry Winston’s universe where the color blue has always played a starring role. Having once owned the world’s most impressive treasure trove of historic diamonds and gemstones, Mr. Winston enriched his collection with the acquisition of the legendary 45.52-carat Hope Diamond in 1949. Inspired by this famous diamond, a regal tone of blue mother-of-pearl embellishes the dial.

To draw the eye to the retrograde displays for the days of the week and seconds, the counters are framed by a row of seven brilliant-cut diamonds and engraved with a lotus flower – a shape that recalls Harry Winston’s Lotus Cluster fine jewelry collection.

Deliberately understated, the hours and minutes disc allows the complications to shine.
As a member of the Ocean dynasty, the timepiece pays tribute to all things nautical, and the natural mother-of-pearl stage hosts a large droplet of water traced in diamonds at 6 o’clock. Admirers of Harry Winston’s impressive collection of gemstones will notice a direct reference to the recently acquired Winston Legacy Diamond. As one of the most magnificent flawless diamonds in the world, the pear shaped silhouette of the Winston Legacy is recreated in the brilliant-cut diamond drop framing the date window.

The emerald-cut diamond at 12 o’clock pays tribute to Mr. Winston’s favorite cut. To ensure that all of the different functions on board are shipshape, the Ocean Biretrograde Automatic 36mm is equipped with a high-end Swiss mechanical automatic movement. The latest technology, in the form of a flat silicon balance spring, will ensure years of impeccable service and helps optimize the overall isochronism of the movement.

The spectacle continues on the back of the case where a transparent sapphire crystal reveals the finely hand-finished movement and the 18-karat rose gold rotor. Water resistant up to 100 meters and equipped with a generous 65-hour power reserve, this timepiece seamlessly combines practicality with beauty.

To match the intense colors of the dials, new straps have been developed for the timepieces. The rose gold model is presented on an electric-blue alligator strap, and the white gold model comes on a pearly burgundy alligator strap, both set with 42 diamonds in the buckle.

Harry Winston Ocean 20th Anniversary Biretrograde Automatic 36mm Limited Edition

The House of Harry Winston celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Ocean Collection with the launch of the mesmerizing Ocean 20th Anniversary Biretrograde Automatic 36mm. Adorned with brilliant diamonds and bold, blue Paraiba tourmalines that recall the colors of the sea, this new limited edition timepiece expertly navigates horological waters with alluring style and grace.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Ocean Collection by Harry Winston. To celebrate the momentous occasion, the House proudly presents the stunning 18- karat white gold Ocean 20th Anniversary Biretrograde Automatic 36mm timepiece. Bearing the hallmark traits of its namesake series – including a biretrograde display and excentered hours and minutes counter – this timepiece is designed for women who love Harry Winston’s high jewelry aesthetic and appreciate the beauty of a refined mechanical movement.

The Ocean 20th Anniversary Biretrograde embarks on her maiden voyage in a sea of bold, blue Paraiba tourmalines, brilliant diamonds and mother-of-pearl, and explores previously unchartered waters at the House of Harry Winston.

Paraiba tourmalines are one of the rarest and most sought-after gemstones in the world. Discovered in the 1980s in Brazil, they possess an intense bright, blue glow that took the jewelry scene by storm.

This year, Harry Winston dives into a sea of color, incorporating no less than 97 vibrant Paraibas on the dial of its newest Ocean timepiece. Selected for their intense color and luminosity, the Paraibas set on the dial of the Ocean 20th Anniversary Biretrograde Automatic 36mm evoke the ever-changing hues of tropical Caribbean waters and bring a serene aquatic touch to this timepiece.

Inspired by the shape of classic navigational tools, a ribbon of Paraiba tourmalines and 70 brilliant-cut diamonds embraces the three counters and draws the eye to the heart of the action. On the right, is the retrograde days of the week counter and, on the left, the retrograde seconds counter. They are separated by a magnified date window framed by brilliant-cut diamonds.

In keeping with its oceanic nature, white mother-of-pearl decorates the background of the dial and creates the illusion of depth and volume. With natural iridescence, the mother-of-pearl recreates all the beauty of the shimmering sea.

The excentered hours and minutes counter is also accented by a ring of Paraiba tourmalines and features 18-karat white gold indexes and a magnificent emeraldcut diamond at 12 o’clock.

The beauty of a retrograde seconds function is in the continuous display of the hand tracing the arc of the seconds track. Once it reaches the 30-second marker, the hand jumps back, in a counter-clockwise motion, and begins again. To ensure that all the functions on this majestic vessel are in perfect working order, the Ocean 20th Anniversary Biretrograde features a high-end Swiss mechanical automatic movement with a generous 65-hour power reserve. The latest technology, in the form of a flat silicon balance spring, helps optimize the overall isochronism of the movement, ensuring years of impeccable service.

The dazzling spectacle continues on the back of the case where a transparent sapphire crystal reveals a novel gem-set rotor and hand-finished touches on the movement. Crafted in 18-karat white gold the rotor glows with the magical light of 23 Paraiba tourmalines.

This timepiece is water-resistant up to 100 meters, making it the ideal accessory for outdoor water sports and everyday life. Resilient and sporty, yet feminine to its core, the 36mm white gold case is set with 57 brilliant-cut diamonds. The House’s signature arches frame the crown and echo the entrance to Harry Winston’s Fifth Avenue Flagship Salon. As a precious creation, this timepiece is limited to 20 pieces.

The Ocean 20th Anniversary Biretrograde Automatic 36mm is presented on an elegant alligator strap, designed to highlight the color of the intense blue Paraiba tourmalines. It fastens to the wrist with an 18-karat white gold ardillon buckle, set with an additional 42 brilliant-cut diamonds.

Harry Winston Avenue C™ Mini Lily Cluster Pink

Adorned with its historic cluster motif, the House of Harry Winston is introducing the newest timepiece to its iconic Avenue Collection. By uniting two celebrated emblems, the Avenue C™ Mini Lily Cluster Pink perfectly embodies the enduring design spirit of the House. Revisiting the hallmark cluster motif in a more contemporary fashion, the Avenue C™ Mini Lily Cluster Pink timepiece, with its dreamy aura, celebrates the beauty of the lily in an Avenue case straight from the heart of New York.

As celebrated for his unrivalled collection of precious gemstones, as he was for his innovative approach to cutting and setting stones, Mr. Winston developed the Winston Cluster in the early 1940s. Breathing fresh air into jewelry design, Mr. Winston and his designers pioneered the technique of clustering, in which individual stones, not the metal settings, would dictate the jewelry design. This revolutionary approach of placing diamonds at different angles and on different planes resulted in elegant, clean designs, which have become synonymous with the aesthetic of the House. A prevailing influence throughout the House’s history, the cluster was reinterpreted in 2010 in a more contemporary motif with the launch of the Lily Cluster fine jewelry collection.

The 18-karat white gold Avenue C™ Mini Lily Cluster Pink pays homage to the design legacy of the great American jeweler with a creative and modern interpretation of the lily flower. Using the cluster technique, 34 white brilliant-cut diamonds are set to capture the graceful movement of blossoming petals. With no hour markers to distract from the dynamic scenery, the scintillating diamond lily petals are suspended for eternity in a dreamy landscape provided by the shimmering pink mother-of-pearl dial.

Named after New York’s Fifth Avenue, the Avenue Collection appropriates its design cues directly from Harry Winston’s Fifth Avenue Flagship Salon. As the most recognized collection of all Harry Winston’s timepieces, the architecture of the Avenue Collection echoes the lines of the stately stone façade of the Fifth Avenue Salon and features a miniature replica of the famous arched doorway on the case at 12 and 6 o’clock.

Naturally, a timepiece without diamonds would not be a Harry Winston creation, and the rectangular 18-karat white gold case is set with 47 brilliant-cut diamonds. Other Harry Winston signature codes include the House’s official logo and the truncated diamond set into the crown. On the dial at 12 o’clock, the letters HW are placed in a gold octagonal applique, a shape inspired by Mr. Harry Winston’s favorite gemstone cut – the emerald-cut.

Like other members of the Avenue C™ Mini family, the dainty 18-karat white gold case of the timepiece is gently cambered to ensure a perfect fit on the wrist and is presented on a matching pearly pink alligator leather strap with an 18-karat white gold foldover clasp. The Avenue C™ Mini Lily Cluster Pink is fitted with a high-end Swiss quartz movement.

Harry Winston Avenue Classic Aurora

A tribute to the Art Deco style that influenced many of Harry Winston’s early designs, the Avenue Classic Aurora exudes the unparalleled glamor of New York, with sparkling diamonds and colorful sapphires.

New York’s Fifth Avenue has long played a pivotal role in the history of the House. Home to Harry Winston’s New York Flagship Salon, Fifth Avenue is one of the world’s most prestigious shopping addresses.

When Harry Winston founded his jewelry empire in 1932, the Art Deco movement was in full swing. Inspired by the streamlined styling of this period, the Avenue Classic Aurora features a sophisticated rectangular case set with diamonds and sapphires that emulate the twinkling lights of the city that doesn’t sleep. Color is the theme at Harry Winston this year, and the Avenue Classic Aurora models are adorned with 12 baguette-cut pink or blue sapphires. While the Art Deco period is most often classified by its use of black and white color schemes – in part influenced by old movies and photos of the period – the use of color was also a key component of the time.

Presented in luxurious 18-karat white and rose gold cases, the Avenue Classic Aurora plays with the juxtaposition of different sizes, cuts and colors of stones to create a timepiece that tempers bold geometry with dynamic movement. Flanking the case are 50 brilliant-cut diamonds that taper at the waist to accommodate the triangular-shaped motif. At either end of the case, the iconic Avenue Collection arches are highlighted in large blue or pink baguette-cut sapphires. Like all timepieces in the Avenue Collection, the gold case and the sapphire crystal protecting the dial are gently cambered throughout to follow the natural curve of the wrist.

A lustrous white mother-of-pearl dial casts even more light on the timepiece and is printed with black Arabic numerals and an octagonal minute track, shaped in Mr.Harry Winston’s preferred cut for gemstones – the emerald-cut. The 2018 editions feature eight diamond-set indexes and the small seconds counter is paved with 19 brilliantcut diamonds and encircled by a gold ring.

The Avenue Classic Aurora is fitted with a high-end Swiss quartz movement designed for carefree maintenance and is presented with an alligator leather strap that echoes the color of the diamonds and sapphires. The gold ardillon buckle is set with six brilliant-cut diamonds and features a gold folding clasp that adapts perfectly to the wrist for enhanced comfort and security.
