Aquastar Benthos 500 Chronograph Founder’s Edition
Switzerland based diving watch specialist Aquastar presents Benthos 500 Chronograph Founder’s Edition, a modern interpretation of the legendary Benthos 500 model.
To equip this vintage-themed 60-minute mono-pusher chronograph, the brand has developed a new manual-wound calibre in collaboration with La Joux-Perret.
It comes with an oversized 60 minute totalizer and the start, stop, and reset all being commanded from a single “mono-pusher” on the right flank of the case.
The new Aquastar Benthos 500 Chronograph Founder’s Edition retains the innovative, ultra-legible and super-capable spirit of the original, with a few key ergonomic improvements, like the relocation of the pusher to 2:00 (a more natural actuation position for the right index finger), and the down-turned position and shape of the lugs, facilitating a more balanced, comfortable position on the wrist.
This special Founder’s Edition will only be available for a short time, with 300 pieces being produced.
