Italian watch brand Venezianico presents Nereide Amazzonite, a new model inspired by the colors of the Amazon waters. Paying tribute to the Aztec and Mayan civilizations, this timepiece features a beautiful dial crafted from rare amazonite.
With shades ranging from blue to green, amazonite (also known as Amazonstone) was a sacred stone for pre-Columbian cultures. It makes each dial, under the sapphire crystal, a unique and ever-changing work of art, with veins and patterns that provide depth and a distinctive character enhanced by the unidirectional rotating bezel with a tungsten insert.
The case-back of the 42mm diameter stainless steel case spotlights a finely engraved representation in perfect pre-Columbian style.
Inside this watch beats the Swiss Made Sellita SW200-1 automatic calibre. Water-resistant up to 200 meters, Nereide Amazzonite comes with a comfortable high quality “made in Italy” rubber strap in the same hue as the dial.
The watch is also available with a Canova steel bracelet, offering a versatile and even more refined look.
The Venezianico Nereide Amazzonite is available in a limited edition of only 300 pieces.
