The Netherlands based independent fine watchmaking atelier Grönefeld presents the 1941 Principia Mandala unique piece created to support the Only Watch 2023 charity event.
This Grönefeld 1941 Principia Mandala is the first and only Grönefeld timepiece that has a hunter case back. The inside of the case back has an engraving with the images of the brand’s co-founders Bart, Tim and their father Sjef.
The dial of the watch showcases a vibrant and intricate mandala design, inspired by the colorful logo of the 10th anniversary of Only Watch. On the colorful mandala dial, you’ll find highly polished hour markers.
A hunter case back has been added to the Grönefeld stainless steel 1941 Principia case. The inside of the case back has an engraving with the images of Bart, Tim and their father Sjef. The exterior is engraved “Grönefeld for Only Watch”.
It houses the Grönefeld G-06 automatic movement. It features completely hand finished, stainless steel bridges, gold chatons and a 22K solid gold oscillating weight. The emblematic stainless steel bridges replicate the facades of the Dutch houses.
This unique piece comes with a salmon strap in two colors matching the dial and Only Watch 2023 logo with a stainless steel Grönefeld 1941 Principia buckle.
