Q Timex with New Colours
Timex expands its Q Timex collection with three new variants.
Last year, Timex, a global leader in watchmaking unveiled Q Timex, a diver-inspired reissue of the popular 1970s original. The very first limited series model from this reissue collection features a stylistic retro-look with blue, red and gold accents.
Introduced in May 2019, this retro-styled stainless steel quartz watch features blue dial and rotatable bezel featuring dual color aluminum ring with blue (upper half) and red (lower half) colors.
The reissue Q Timex models maintains the original features including the ‘Q’ below the 12 o’clock position, true to-the-era woven stainless-steel bracelet, functional battery hatch, rotating top ring and luminescent infill hour markers and hands.
In 2020, this collection welcomes three new variants featuring vibrantly colored dials and bezel rings. The new color combo includes: Blue dial with blue-orange bezel ring; White dial with blue-red bezel ring and Black dial with black-green bezel ring.
Inspired by the diver watches of the 1970s, the Q Timex watches feature a 38 mm diameter and 11.5 mm thick stainless-steel case fitted with a domed acrylic crystal. The case features brushed and polished surface finishing.
These timepieces are equipped with modern quartz movements. The watch is fitted with a stainless steel case-back with battery hatch inspired by the original Q Timex of the 1970s.
Finished in black, blue or white color, the watch dial features luminous hands for hour, minute and large luminescent hour-markers for easy reading of time under low light conditions. The window at 3 o’clock indicates day and date. The bezel features markings from 1 to 12.
The Q Timex watches are fitted with woven stainless steel bracelets with adjustable clasps. The Strap/Lug width is 18 mm. Each timepiece is water resistant up to 50 meters.
Retail price is £159. Q Timex is available for purchase in limited quantities on Timex online portals and selected stores globally.
