Artisans de Genève Tribute to 6536 Brown
Switzerland based custom watch specialist Artisans de Genève announces an audacious reinterpretation of the iconic Rolex 6536 model realized on an 114060 base. From the case to the dial, through the polishing of the hands, each detail of this personalization is meticulously designed and made to pay a tribute to a legendary icon.
The current bezel has been replaced by a steel one entirely handmade in their Swiss workshop. The chamfers are flat and individually polished by their skilled craftsmen. The dial of the Tribute to 6536 Brown is entirely reworked, lacquered and finished by hand.
Artisans de Genève has aged the luminous material to give it the typical appearance of the 1950’s timepieces. The case is machined to remove the crown guard, giving the timepiece the thickness and look characteristic of the vintage timepieces.
The lugs are beveled and polished by hand. Symbol of reliability and aesthetics, the Rolex 3130 caliber is, to any watchmaker, a benchmark for precision and chronometry.
The original qualities of the Rolex 3130 mechanism have been preserved while bringing it a delicate touch: Artisans de Genève’s signature a 21ct massive gold rotor entirely decorated that can be glimpsed through a transparent sapphire case back.
