Parmigiani Fleurier Tonda 1950 Lune

The new Tonda 1950 Lune watch from Parmigiani Fleurier’s bestselling Tonda 1950 collection boasts the signature streamlined aesthetic and ultra-thin movement with micro-rotor designed, developed and manufactured entirely within the Fleurier watchmaking centre.

The calibre PF708 with 48-hour power reserve combines an accurate, reliable mechanism and optimum winding within compact dimensions. It boasts hand-applied finishes and bevelled bridges. Its sublime structure is complemented by “Côtes de Genève” decoration.

Measuring 39 mm diameter, the steel watch case features slightly concave lugs and a slightly larger crown. Its black opaline dial boasts a highly contemporary moon phase with a display showing the two hemispheres, a calibrated scale corresponding to a lunar month of 29 and a half days, and rose gold discs reproducing the lunar cycle on the dial: new moon, first quarter, full moon and last quarter. The moon phase of this new Tonda 1950 requires correction once every three years.

The dial also features a highly visible date in a large aperture at 6 o’clock, a first for this model. The small second elegantly and harmoniously balances the moon phase. The applique indexes and the Delta hands with a luminescent coating discreetly bring this vibrant design to life.

The Tonda 1950 Lune is available with a matt black alligator strap, perfectly complementing its urban style. It has a deployant buckle and an adjustment system with five positions to ensure it is comfortable to wear.
