MAEN Manhattan Classic Moonphase Collection

MAEN is a young watch brand based in Stockholm, Sweden. The brand name is taken from an old Dutch word meaning Moon. As a tribute to this unique brand name, the founders of this Swedish watch brand presents its debut collection comprising of classic Moonphase watches.

Moonphase is considered as the most poetic complication in a wristwatch. Here, the brand highlights the classic Moonphase indication in a simple and elegant dial. Dressed in a classic stainless steel case with a mixed brushed and polished finish, the timepiece proudly displays the powder coated dial featuring faceted hands for hour and minutes, polished indexes and a lovely Moonphase indication.

Available in 316L stainless steel or 316L stainless steel gold plated version, the case measures 38mm diameter and 7mm thickness. The discreet dimensions make this watch a perfect dress watch in classic style.

Presently four versions are available: Two in stainless steel case with Frost White or Midnight grey dial and two models in stainless steel gold plated case with charcoal grey or ivory white dial.

The face of this classic watch is protected with a sapphire crystal. The screwed caseback of the watch features laser engraved brand logo at the centre surrounded by a pattern symbolising the movement of the Moon around the earth.

Inside each classic Moonphase watch beats a Swiss made quartz movement manufactured by Ronda. The timepiece come fitted with an Italian leather strap in black or brown shade depending upon the version.

Now customers can pre-order the Swedish watch brand’s latest model, the Manhattan 40 (available in date and Moonphase versions) by backing the MAEN Watches Kickstarter Campaign for funding the amount for mass production of this series. Kickstarter price is approximately 185 Euros for date version and 195 Euros for Moonphase versions.
