IWC Schaffhausen Inaugurates Newly Renovated IWC Boutique in Moscow

Three years ago, in the prestigious setting of Berlinskiy Dom, Swiss luxury watch manufacturer IWC Schaffhausen opened the doors of its first boutique in Moscow. The boutique has now reopened after considerable renovation and welcomes visitors to explore the world of haute horlogerie through IWC’s iconic timepieces.

At the official opening ceremony on 05 December 2013, IWC Friends of the Brand Alexei Nemov and Sergey Mazaev shared the honour of cutting the ribbon together with IWC Brand Manager in Russia & CIS, Luc Rochereau.

Laid out over two floors, the newly refurbished 90-squaremetre boutique includes an inviting exhibition and lounge area on the ground floor and an exclusive private lounge on the first floor. Developed exclusively by IWC’s in-house team of architects and designers, the boutique reflects IWC’s corporate design philosophy with shades of white and brown. It is fitted with wood finishes, high-quality fabrics and custom-made furniture that create an elegant and welcoming atmosphere.

Customers entering the boutique are welcomed by an elegant glass facade that smoothly leads over to a series of watch displays showcasing special timepieces made by IWC’s finest watchmakers.

Guests can discover the fascination of aviation through the Pilot’s Watches, then plunge into the world of the Aquatimer, travel to the Italian seaside and enjoy some dolce vita with the Portofino timepieces, feel the spirit of performance engineering with the Ingenieur collection and, finally, experience the world of ingenuity of the Da Vinci universe. Each product family has a dedicated space decorated with carefully selected accessories, such as books and pictures, inspired by their unique universes.

The new boutique showcases in particular two of the most recent IWC novelties. These are the special editions dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the world-famous story “The Little Prince” by the legendary pilot, humanist and writer Antoine de Saint-Exupéry: the Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar Edition “Le Petit Prince” (Ref. IW502802) in red gold, limited to 270 watches, and the Pilot’s Watch Mark XVII Edition “Le Petit Prince” (Ref. IW326506) in stainless steel, limited to 1,000 watches.
