Orient Watch Company has created the DAKS Authentic & Classic to celebrate the 115th anniversary of British luxury clothing and apparels brand DAKS.
DAKS is a long-established luxury house that has built a tradition of quality and trust, including being appointed as a purveyor to the British Royal Family. This year marks the 115th anniversary of Simeon Simpson’s founding of a small tailor shop on Middlesex Street, London in 1894.
The newly DAKS Authentic & Classic watch made by Orient retains the sophisticated and characteristic design of DAKS, but houses an independently developed retrograde movement.
The retrograde movement, which took about two years to develop, is characterized by a change in the display from Sunday to Monday, with the hand pointing to the fan-shaped day of the week instantly returning to its starting point, Monday and start moving again.
In addition, it is equipped with a full range of functions such as a power reserve indicator function, calendar (date) function, and second hand stop device.
The dial has a two-layer structure that gives it a three-dimensional feel, and the DAKS traditional check pattern is featured in the center, giving it a delicate and high-quality design.
The high-quality crocodile leather strap offers a solid feel. It the back side is decorated with the signature DAKS check pattern, creating a traditional and elegant atmosphere.
