Graham Chronofighter Oversize GMT Big Date BRG (British Racing Green)

With its signature “left-hand drive” controls featuring a bold “reset” push-button and an extra-long “start and stop” lever with six-sided screws, this new version of the Chronofighter Oversize GMT Big Date, in its eponymous black and British Racing Green bezel and dial treatment, will find its place on the wrists of avant-garde design enthusiasts and watch connoisseurs.

Attentive to the needs of people who are constantly on the move and accustomed to juggling with time zones, this Graham style features an easy-to-read GMT function as well as a big date at 12 o’clock and, of course, the traditional Graham bi-compax chronograph functions.

The ruggedly handsome stainless steel case measures an imposing 47mm in diameter and features a 9mm crown. Complete with a non-slip thumb grip, the left-hand trigger-lever and reset push-button are executed in black PVD carbide on stainless steel to emphasize the British Racing Look.

Graham’s own caliber G 1733 powers the fast-action co-axial chronograph indicating the elapsed seconds from the big center second hand, and the minutes in the green counter at 9 o’clock. A big double disc date makes for easy reading at 12 o’clock. The large white and red GMT hand displays a 24 hours second time zone marked on the outer bezel: Green for daytime and Black for nighttime.

Protected by a cambered sapphire crystal that is glare proofed on both sides, the matt black and British racing green dial is accentuated by a wealth of graphic details such as Superluminova Arabic numerals, bold hour, minute and GMT hands and a scratch proof sapphire bezel in black and green indicating a 24 hours second time-zone in Arabic numerals and hour markers.

Complete with ergonomic lugs, Graham’s exclusive heavy-duty black rubber strap ensures a perfect fit on the wrist.
