CODE41 WATCHES
CODE41 is a watch company based in Lausanne, Switzerland. Founded by Claudio D’Amore, the brand debuted in 2016 by launching the ANOMALY 1 & ANOMALY 2 models on Kickstarter crowd funding project, which raised 543,150 CHF. With these inaugural timepieces, CODE41 also introduced the TTO label, standing for Total Transparency on Origin.

CODE 41 (initially known as The Goldgena Project) was launched on 22 Mar 2016 in Switzerland with the goal of creating affordable mechanical watches with complete transparency regarding their origin and costs.
The Swiss Made label often misleads consumers, as most of the components are manufactured abroad. The Goldgena Team has decided to make their watches with complete transparency, and have thus created the TTO label; Total Transparency on Origin.
Born in Switzerland to Italian parents, Claudio D’Amore graduated from the ECAL (Lausanne Design School) with an HES degree in design. He then set off for London to work with Ross Lovegrove, the famous London-based designer, where he worked on the design of several watches for Tag Heuer (V4, Carrera Caliber 360 and Golf Watch).
Upon his return to Switzerland in 2005, he founded a watch design studio named Cosanova. Before founding his own watch brand, Claudio D’Amore had worked with around forty luxury watch brands, such as Tag Heuer, Parmigiani, Montblanc, Oris, Eberhard and Hautlence.
In September 2016, a crowd funding campaign was launched for the market entry of the CODE 41 watch brand.
The brand’s flagship watch collections are DAY41, ANOMALY, NB24, MOON INCEPTION and X41. CODE41 watches retail price range is $2,000 to $25,000.
