Seagull 1963 Icon II Green Bronze & Blue Steel Editions
The emblematic Seagull 1963 Icon II Chronograph collection by Red Star is now offering the new Green Bronze & Blue Steel Editions. These timepieces are the modern reinterpretations of the historic Seagull pilot’s chronograph made in China in 1955.
The Green Bronze Edition features a CuSn8 bronze case and sunburst green dial with cream sandblasted sub-dials and rose gold toned applied indices.
This model is fitted on a green genuine calfskin leather strap with Zermatt lining and rose gold–plated brushed buckle. The bonze case will gradually develop the patina due to oxidisation, making each timepiece a unique piece.
In comparison, the Blue Steel Edition has a polished 316L stainless steel case and sunburst blue dial with cream sandblasted sub-dials and steel applied indices.
This version is available with a blue genuine calfskin leather with Zermatt lining and stainless steel brushed buckle.
Both timepieces are equipped with the iconic Seagull ST1901 column-wheel chronograph calibre. Beating at 21,600 BPH, this 21 jewel movement features a blue Swan Neck regulator mechanism for fine adjustment and offers an approximate power reserve of 48 hours.
The fine movement decorations, blued screws, and smooth column-wheel operation can be admired through the sapphire crystal case-back.
The hands and numerals are filled with Super-LumiNova to ensure optimum readability. The boxed sapphire crystal creates a gentle distortion at the edge, vintage in feeling, modern in strength. The straps are equipped with quick release mechanisms.
Dressed in a 40mm diameter case, the new Seagull 1963 Icon II chronograph models have been re-engineered for comfort and refinement. The 46 mm lug-to-lug case wears effortlessly on the wrist, slimmer in profile thanks to a thinner body and a thicker domed crystal. The sides now feature horizontal brushing, and every hand is finished with polished pinhole caps. Each piece is individually numbered and engraved.
Each timepiece is delivered with bespoke collector’s box including warranty QR code card, manual, and individual watch tag. Suggested retail price is €497/£446/$587.
