With the new Top Time Racing and Top Time Martini Racing® chronograph models, Swiss luxury watch brand BREITLING takes us to its boldest 1960s designs. These watches revive the era’s most unconventional details: a striking cushion case, squircle subdials, and the unmistakable dashboard dial.
Breitling introduces three limited-edition Top Time chronographs built for racing enthusiasts: two dedicated to the adventure of rally and one created in partnership with Martini Racing. Each features a sleek 38 mm case, striking the perfect balance between heritage proportions and modern performance.
The Top Time Racing and Martini Racing limited editions are powered by Breitling’s flagship Manufacture Caliber 01, a COSC-certified chronometer built for precision under pressure, featuring a 70-hour power reserve and easy-to-operate mushroom pushers, designed for quick, instinctive timing.
These new editions are descendants of some of the most striking Top Time designs of the 1960s. The cushion-shaped case, bold tachymeter scale, and distinctive “squircle” subdials evoke the high speeds and split-second decisions of the race route.
At the heart of the dial is the signature “dashboard” motif – an elliptical design straight out of the Top Time archives, inspired by classic-car dashboards.
Each Top Time Racing edition is limited to just 750 pieces, with a special “One of 750” engraving on the caseback.
They are available in two dynamic colorways – a black-and-white dial with a beige leather strap, or a green-and-white dial with a matching green perforated leather racing strap that gives a nod to vintage driving gloves.
For the first time, Breitling and Martini Racing come together in a collaboration fueled by speed, precision, and a shared passion for performance, with the Top Time Martini Racing, a 750-piece limited edition engraved with “One of 750” and “Martini Racing” on the caseback.
Instantly recognizable, the Top Time Martini Racing takes its cues from one of the most celebrated liveries of all time.
Its dial is dominated by Martini Racing’s signature blue, light blue, and red stripes – a color combination that has left rivals in the dust for over 50 years.
Like its Top Time Racing counterparts, it features a modern-retro take on the cushion case, squircle subdials, and the unmistakable dashboard dial design.
Sized at a sleek 38 mm, it’s paired with a perforated dark blue leather racing strap.
