Swiss luxury watch brand Breitling has unveiled six new models of its Premier B01 Chronograph. Updated with a heritage-inspired design, these models house the Manufacture Caliber 01.
The origins of the Premier collection date back to 1940s when Willy Breitling designed a series of elegant chronographs named the Premier.
Reintroduced by Breitling in 2021, the Premier Heritage chronograph collection revived Willy’s dream of seeing the functional chronograph made undeniably elegant and infinitely wearable.
Breitling Caliber 01 is a manufacture self-winding movement designed for maximum precision, reliability, and functionality. Introduced in 2009, it is one of the most highly regarded chronograph movements in the industry. Moreover, this COSC certified calibre offers an accuracy of -4 and +6 seconds per day.
The latest iteration of the Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01 found in the new Premier chronograph was redesigned in 2022 and features a trimmer profile and more compact oscillating weight. This movement is visible through the transparent sapphire-crystal caseback. It comes with a five-year warranty and provides an approximate 70-hour power reserve.
The new Premier spotlights distinctive vintage-Premier design details, including the smooth fixed bezel, twin-register dial, streamlined rectangular pushers, and applied Arabic numerals.
At 42 mm, the case diameter is slightly larger than the 40 mm found on the existing B09 (manual-wind) models. The Premier is water resistant to a 100 m (10 bar) water resistance.
The tone-on-tone subdials with chronograph minutes at 3 o’clock and running seconds at 9 o’clock lend a polished style, while new dial shades in salmon, blue, green, black, and cream add a contemporary twist to the stainless-steel models.
A further variation in 18K red gold features a classic cream dial. The watches come on a choice of classic alligator leather strap or sleek 7-row metal bracelet.

The new Breitling Chronomat Six Nations is a limited-edition watch series dedicated to the unions and federations that make up Six Nations Rugby: England, Ireland, Wales, Scotland, France, and Italy.
The Guinness Six Nations kicks off on 4th February 2023, marking Breitling’s second season as the Official Timing Partner to Six Nations Rugby. This championship showcases men’s and women’s matches between its six competing unions: RFU (England), IRFU (Ireland), WRU (Wales), SRU (Scotland), FFR (France), and FIR (Italy).

The 42-mm case and rouleaux bracelet are stainless steel. The hands are coated with luminescent Super-LumiNova®, and like all Chronomat models, it is water-resistant to 200 meters. Each caseback is specially engraved with the name of the union, “Six Nations”, and the “One of 150” limitation.
The Chronomat Six Nations is available in the UK and select EU countries. Each model sets itself apart by a dial that expresses the individual union’s colors, with its logo positioned in the subdial at 9 o’clock as well as on the sapphire crystal caseback.

Launched in 1969, the Boeing 747 has revolutionized commercial aviation. As the last of the mighty 747 airliners rolls off the Boeing production line, Swiss luxury watch brand Breitling presents a limited-edition Navitimer as a tribute to the legendary jumbo jet.
The 1574th – and last – Boeing 747 will be delivered this year. Created to honour this iconic airliner, the special special-edition Navitimer watch is limited to 747 pieces.
The Navitimer, developed by Breitling in 1952, was originally conceived for the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA). This iconic pilot watch stands out with its significant circular slide rule that could perform all in-flight calculations.
The new Navitimer Boeing 747 features the AOPA logo at 12 o’clock. The colors on the dial echo the palette found on the original Boeing 747, captured in its cream dial with black subdials and red-and-white slide rule with blue accents. The “Boeing 747” name is subtly integrated into the slide rule’s inner scale. The watch also features an integrated date window at 6 o’clock.
Visible through the sapphire crystal case-back, the Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01 offers approximately 70 hours of power reserve and is backed by a five-year warranty. The caseback also contains the special engravings “One of 747” and the phrase “The Original Jumbo Jet”.

Swiss luxury watch brand Breitling and the Australian custom motorcycle and surf outfitter Deus Ex Machina have teamed up once again on a limited-edition Top Time Deus chronograph. It’s the second collaboration between the two brands, following their first sold-out watch release in 2021.
Limited to 2000 pieces, the new Top Time Deus is built for open-road adventure with luminescent indexes and a white lacquered dial contrasted by sky-blue on its subdials and speed-measuring tachymeter scale.
While the color scheme is all new, the details that made the first collab so successful are back, including the lightning-bolt-shaped chronograph hand, mushroom pushers, racing-themed calfskin leather strap and caseback engraving of a Deus bike and rider designed by Deus creative director Carby Tuckwell. Breitling presents Super Chronomat Automatic 38 Origins, the brand’s first-ever “traceable watch” that transparently informs and engages owners about the origins of its precious materials.
By 2025, Breitling’s entire product portfolio will feature better gold and better diamonds: artisanal gold and lab-grown diamonds, responsibly sourced from accredited suppliers. To be fully accountable to its mission, Breitling is also introducing end-to-end traceability.
The better gold and better diamonds used in Super Chronomat Origins enable the brand to know that its precious materials are free from association with conflict or human rights abuses.
Breitling is also able to assess the social and environmental impact all along the supply chain and give back directly to the communities involved. The entire chain of custody has been independently verified and recorded in a blockchain-backed NFT that comes with every Super Chronomat Origins.
For Super Chronomat Origins, Breitling has sourced gold from a single artisanal mine that meets the Swiss Better Gold Association’s criteria. The association improves working, living and environmental conditions in artisanal and small-scale (ASM) gold mining communities and facilitates the creation of responsible supply chains to the Swiss market.
Breitling is working toward having all of its gold traceable to specific ASM mines by 2025. For every gram of gold purchased, Breitling makes a contribution that supports local community development projects.
The lab-grown diamonds used in Super Chronomat Origins features type IIa single-crystal diamonds, which qualify as the most valued and purest type of diamonds. They are created by applying gas and heat to a diamond slice in a vacuum. Under the heat, the gas develops into a cloud of plasma, creating the conditions that allow the diamond to crystallize and grow. Labgrown diamonds are identical to mined diamonds and subject to the same rigorous quality testing.
By 2024, Breitling will have completed a transition to lab-grown diamonds across its entire product portfolio, all of them traceable to growers who meet a high standard of social and environmental performance in addition to a stringent requirement of climate neutrality. For every carat purchased, Breitling makes a contribution to a social impact fund that supports diamond-producing communities.
Super Chronomat Origins owners receive a precious materials’ provenance record as part of their blockchain-backed NFT. Since 2020, every new Breitling timepiece has come with this unique digital proof of ownership. For Super Chronomat Origins, the supply chain—from raw material to finished product—is documented both on the owner’s NFT and publicly on an online source map, with all information independently verified.

In the 1960s, the emerging sport of scuba diving was all the rage, inspired by the adventures of ocean explorer Jacques Cousteau.
Specially created for underwater explorers, the early generation SuperOcean Slow Motion watches featured a high-contrast dial ring with the crucial minutes scale and chunky luminescent batons for easy readability.
Instead of the seconds hand, these diving watches came with a revolutionary minutes-based chronograph, dubbed the “Slow Motion” because it took an hour to make a full rotation of the dial.

The new Breitling Superocean takes inspiration from the Slow Motion’s simplified tool watch philosophy. The collection has been revised to meet the needs of modern wearers, while maintaining a number of design features of the original.
Breitling Superocean Automatic 36 with turquoise, white and orange dials
Available in four sizes (46, 44, 42, and 36 mm), the collection’s colorful dials are paired with three different case metals—steel, steel-gold, and bronze. The special alloy used in the 44 and 42 mm bronze versions has an excellent resistance to corrosion but will still develop a subtle patina over time that makes the watch even more unique.
The two strap options (a sporty rubber strap and a new three-row metal bracelet) have a folding clasp that allows for micro-adjustments of up to 15 mm for easy wear over rashies and dive suits.
Water-resistant to 300 m (1000 ft), the new Superocean features broad hands and indexes coated in Super-LumiNova® that allow for exceptional readability underwater. Its scratchproof ceramic-inlayed bezel means it will never wear or fade.

For safety, the bezel is unidirectional on most sizes and bidirectional with a patented lock on the 46 mm. This watch is also shock-, sand-, and saltwater-resistant. Its automatic Breitling Caliber 17 comes with a two-year warranty and an approximate 38-hour power reserve.
Breitling Superocean Automatic 44 with turquoise dial and black rubber strap
Best of all, the Slow Motion’s distinctive square minute hand has made a comeback. So has the high-contrast minute scale. Fans will also remember “the dot,” a circular window at 6 o’clock that displayed different colors depending on whether the minutes-based chronograph was engaged, paused, or off. In the new Superocean, a circle near the tip of the second hand gives a wink to that much-loved feature.
