Grand Seiko Hi-Beat 36000 80 Hours Limited Edition SLGH027
The new Grand Seiko Hi-Beat 36000 80 Hours limited edition watch (reference SLGH027) from the Evolution 9 Style boasts an eye-catching textured dial inspired by the ridges of Mt. Iwate.

The first Mt. Iwate pattern dial appeared in 2006. The dial of Grand Seiko reference SLGH027 evokes the timeless beauty of Mt. Iwate as seen from the sky, with the striking light-blue hue evoking the purity of the air and water that surround this landmark.

The case and bracelet are made of Ever-Brilliant Steel, a stainless-steel alloy that features greater corrosion resistance. The hairline-finished parts of the watch perfectly complement the light blue dial.

This Grand Seiko Hi-Beat 36000 watch is powered by the Caliber 9SA5, which offers a power reserve of 80 hours thanks to the use of the highly efficient Dual Impulse Escapement and twin barrels. The movement’s finish is inspired by the rippling waves of the Shizukuishi River near the studio where the watch is made.

The Grand Seiko Hi-Beat 36000 80 Hours watch with Mt. Iwate dial (SLGH027) will be available as a limited edition of 1,200 at the Grand Seiko Boutiques and select retail partners worldwide beginning in May 2025.
