Franck Muller Conquistador GPG Singapore Grand Prix 2012 Limited Edition

Swiss luxury watch brand Franck Muller has partnered with Singapore Grand Prix to produce an exclusive collection for Singapore –the Conquistador GPG Singapore Grand Prix 2012 Limited Edition.

The Swiss watchmaker first showed its support for the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix in 2009, with the launch of 160 pieces of Conquistador Singapore Grand Prix 2009 Racing Chronograph.

Inspired by the brand’s iconic Cintrée Curvex case shape, the limited edition was designed with an oversized face and a multi-layered dial. Matching its rugged yet bold aesthetics, the watch case was manufactured with a combination of groundbreaking materials, that came in either rose gold with PVD titanium or ergal with PVD titanium.

Marking its second collaboration with Singapore Grand Prix, Franck Muller creates the Conquistador GPG Singapore Grand Prix 2012 Limited Edition with two novel executions that continue to see the fusion of innovative materials. The Conquistador Grand Prix Chronograph in rose gold and PVD titanium and the Conquistador Grand Prix Central Seconds in titanium and PVD titanium continue to embody the distinctive masculine characteristics of its predecessors whilst sporting varying aesthetic variations.

Limited to 28 pieces each, the first of the two is presented in an opulent version with an 18-carat rose gold bezel framing the Conquistador Grand Prix Chronograph while the second execution of the limited edition portrays a more sporty profile. Reflecting the fiery excitement of this high-octane race, the Conquistador Grand Prix Central Seconds sees accents of orange translated on the dial and along the exotic alligator strap.

Both variants of the Conquistador GPG Singapore Grand Prix 2012 Limited Edition feature a self-winding mechanical movement that is diamond polished to perfection, and finished with Côtes de Genève decoration.

The first Conquistador GPG Chronograph Singapore Grand Prix 2012 Limited Edition with serial number 01 is auctioned off on the 21st September 2012 in aid of the President’s Challenge Charity.
