Weiss is a US based atelier specialised in the manufacturing of hand-assembled mechanical watches. It was founded by Swiss-trained master watchmaker Cameron Weiss in 2013 in Torrance, California.
The Weiss Watch Company is now located at Humphreys Street in Nashville, Tennessee. All Weiss watches are designed, assembled and manufactured in America. The brand makes use of mechanical movements to equip its timepieces. The flagship models from the brand are the Standard Issue Field watch (automatic and manual-winding versions) and the Standard Issue Dive watch.
Made of 316L Stainless steel, the manual-winding Weiss Standard Issue Field watch with small seconds function is available in 38mm and 42mm case versions.
The 38mm Standard Issue Field model is powered by the Cal.1001 mechanical movement (base Unitas 6497) with small seconds at 6 o’clock.
The 42mm Standard Issue Field variant is equipped with the in-house caliber 1005 (ETA 7001 base) with small seconds at 9 o’clock. These watches are available in black and white dial versions.
The Weiss Standard Issue Field Automatic watch features three centre-hands and a date window (at 6 o’clock). This timepiece features a 38mm diameter case in stainless steel. It houses the Weiss Caliber 2130, an automatic movement based on Soprod Cal. M100.
Weiss is also offering a 42mm Standard Issue Field watch in titanium with a carbon or an agave dial.
In October 2022, the company launched the first Weiss diving watch. Available in white, black, blue and yellow dial versions, this timepiece is water resistant up to 300 meters. It comes equipped with the Weiss Caliber 2120 automatic movement, M100 base.
The Weiss watch price range is $2,000 to $3,000. The brand also offers several choices of straps for each model. The timepieces as well as additional straps/bracelets can be purchased from the official website. Weiss Watch Company offers natural rubber, Cordura Canvas, Suede, Horween Shell Cordovan, and Horween Leather straps as well as stainless steel bracelet.
The customers can also opt for custom case-back engraving to personalize the watch.
