The Standard Issue Field collection from the USA based fine watchmaking brand Weiss now offers a new 42mm model created in collaboration with American country music singer Chase Rice.

Limited to 50 pieces, this classic hand-wound mechanical wristwatch boasts an eye-catching Carolina Blue dial. Hand-painted and enhanced with Super-Luminova BGW9, the dial hosts black oxide treated steel hands with luminous material. The in-house machined stainless steel case features a high polished bezel and brushed case.

This 42mm stainless steel watch is powered by the mechanical hand-wound Caliber 1001-2, a development by Weiss Watch Company based on the iconic Unitas 6497 Swiss movement.

Weiss Watch Company Standard Issue Field Watch Titanium 42mm with Blue Dial

After releasing the 38mm standard issue field watch with a blue dial, Weiss Watch Company now presents new 42mm model with the same color theme.

Limited to 20 pieces, this titanium watch has a deep ocean blue colored dial made of naval brass. This timepiece is driven by a hand-wound mechanical movement, the Weiss Caliber 1001-2 (6497 base), which offers a power reserve of 46 hours when fully wound.

Made of Grade 5 Titanium, the 42mm diameter case has brushed surface finish and the bezel features polished finish. It is fitted on a brown Horween Leather strap.

The suggested retail price is $2,500. Weiss Watch Company offers two year warranty for its timepieces.

Weiss Standard Issue Dive Watch 42mm

Weiss Watch Company has announced the launch of its first diving watch. The Weiss Dive Watch from the Standard Issue Series is the first timepiece designed by the brand’s founder Cameron Weiss in his Nashville workshop. This new model meets all ISO 6425 dive watch standards.

The 42mm diameter stainless steel case is equipped with a unidirectional dive bezel. The watch is available in four dial color choices: Black, Blue, Yellow and White.

The Weiss Dive Watch houses an automatic movement (Caliber 2120), displaying the hours, minutes and central sweep seconds. Hand-finished and assembled by Cameron Weiss, it offers a power reserve of 42 hours.

Water-proof up to 300 meters, this diving timepiece is fitted with a double-domed sapphire crystal glass. It also features a sapphire crystal case-back for viewing the mechanical self-winding movement of the watch.

The Standard Issue Dive is fitted with the stainless steel bracelet machined inside the Nashville workshop of Weiss Watch Company.

Weiss Standard Issue Field is the flagship collection from the Los Angeles based independent watch brand founded by by Cameron Weiss, an American watchmaker with WOSTEP certification.

Weiss Watch Company was established in 2013. Before setting up his own brand, Weiss had worked with prestigious manufactures like Audemars Piguet and Vacheron Constantin. The brand makes mechanical wristwatches equipped with automatic or manual-winding movements. These exceptional creations are available within the retail price range of US$ 1,000 to US$ 3,000.

Weiss Standard Issue Field Hand-wound

Manually wound, Weiss Standard Issue Field Watches are available in two case sizes: 38mm and 42mm.

The Weiss Standard Issue Field 38mm watch in stainless steel case houses the Caliber 1005 mechanical movement by Weiss Watch Company. This hand-finished and assembled movement (base calibre ETA 7001) provides a power reserve up to 42 hours. It has a beating frequency of 21,600 vph. The case has a thickness of 9.2mm including the sapphire crystal glass.

The 42mm hand-wound model houses the Caliber 1001 mechanical movement (6497 base), which beats at 18,000 vph and provides up to 46 hours of power reserve. This model comes with a stainless steel case with 12.9mm thickness including the sapphire crystal glass. The front glass is bevelled, domed and treated with anti-reflective coating on the inside surface.

Both Standard Issue models feature bevelled sapphire crystal case-backs for admiring the views of mechanical movement. These timepieces are available in four dial colour choices: Black, Blue, Latte and White. In these highly legible dials, both hands and hour-markers are embedded with Super-Luminova BGW9.

The customer can choose various types of straps made of leather of canvas. You can also opt for custom engraving on the caseback for an additional fee. The retail price range of Weiss Standard Issue Field watches starts at US$ 1,450.

Other Models

Weiss Watch Company also offers two more watch models: the 38mm Automatic Version and the Limited Edition Manual-Wind American Field Issue 42mm in Titanium. The 38mm automatic model has retail price of US$ 1,650.

The limited edition watch with grade-5 titanium houses a mechanical hand-wound movement made of 7075 Aluminum alloy, which is normally used for aircraft wings and fuselages. This timepiece is a limited series of 100 pieces. Its retail price starts at US $ 2,800.

All these timepieces are water resistant up to 100 meters.
