Italian watch brand UNIMATIC presents Modello Quattro ref.UT4-B, an extreme tool watch with military specifications.

Driven by Seiko VH31 quartz movement that has been nested in the in-house designed 360° protection system and with its 300 m water resistance, the Modello Quattro UT4-B combines the best of both dive and field watch attributes.

Designed in-house and made in Italy, the 360° protection system absorbs strong shocks and vibrations that could otherwise be damaging to the movement of the watch.

Made in Italy, Modello Quattro ref. UT4-B features a matte black with printed Arabic numerals and a pale green ring, markers in Super-LumiNova® C3 pale green triangle hour markers and white open second rail and dark gray dial trims.

Time is indicated thanks to the matching phantom ladder hands set and the reverse lollipop second hand with a matte white tip.

The 2.8 mm thick flat sapphire crystal is treated with an anti-reflective coating. The Quartz Seiko VH31 movement, encased in a Made in Italy TPU anti-shock system, offers precision timekeeping even in the harshest conditions.

The watch comes on a black nylon keeper two-piece strap with stainless steel sandblasted hardware signed Unimatic, that fits in the 22 mm drilled lugs.

Revolution & The Rake and Italian watch brand Unimatic have teamed up on a trilogy of collaborative limited editions. The first model from this series is the stealth white Modello Uno GMT “Arctic Fox”.

Drawing inspiration from snow camouflage, this pure white watch is based on Unimatic’s U1 GMT. For this special collaborative edition, the watch received a considerable makeover starting with a white surface treatment. Cerakote is a ceramic-based finish that is applied to objects such as high-end firearms to considerably enhance their wear and corrosion resistance, and surface hardness.

The U1’s unidirectional bezel features a coat of white Cerakote. The matte raw aluminum bezel insert offers the best legibility and perfect subtle contrast to the matte white Cerakote of the case. The dial is similarly pure white but features the liberal use of Super-LumiNova with thin black surrounds for the hour plots for easy reading. Similarly, the GMT hand features a black border to make it easy to distinguish at a glance.

The case measures 41.5mm in diameter and 11.2mm in thickness. The crown is screw-down and assures a water resistance of 300 meters. Inside the watch ticks the ETA Caliber 2893-2 Swiss made automatic ETA movement with GMT function.

This new timepiece comes with a total of three straps: a white snow camouflage NATO strap with steel keepers, a white rubber strap, and a gray pixilated camouflage strap. The latter two straps are each secured with a Cerakote white stonewashed pin buckle.

The Unimatic × Revolution & The Rake Modello Uno GMT “Arctic Fox” will be made in 150 examples with a retail price of EUR 1,500.

In collaboration with Massena LAB, UNIMATIC presents two new limited editions; the UNIMATIC x Massena LAB U4S-BRZ-ML and U4S-BRZ-MLL. Both watches, in a first for UNIMATIC, are cased in bronze.

The release of the U4S-BRZ-ML and U4S-BRZ-MLL follows the sale of the U4S-BRZ-SI, a pièce unique, designed and created by UNIMATIC, artist King Nerd, and Massena LAB.

The watch, which celebrated the story of the Swiss folk hero William Tell, was sold at the Swiss Institute’s “Time for Art” charity auction, in partnership with Phillips and in association with Bacs & Russo, which was held in New York from December 10 to 11.

The design of the U4S-BRZ-ML and U4S-BRZ-MLL takes its inspiration from the tales of the French novelist Jules Verne, such as Journey to the Center of the Earth and especially Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Seas. These stories, examples of Victorian-era science fiction dating to the nineteenth century, embody the exciting, adventurous, and early days of diving.

UNIMATIC x Massena LAB U4S-BRZ-ML

The UNIMATIC x Massena LAB U4S-BRZ-ML, a limited edition of 400 pieces, features a matte dial in deep olive, a bronze-tone signature, and rich plots of pale yellow Super-LumiNova for its hour markers.

Its hands, displaying hours; minutes; and seconds, are also luminous. Its bronze case is brushed circularly around its bezel, and diagonally on its lugs for visual interest. On its case back, made from high-quality and light-weight titanium: a detailed engraving of an octopus.

UNIMATIC x Massena LAB U4S-BRZ-MLL

The UNIMATIC x Massena LAB U4S-BRZ-MLL, a limited edition of 99 pieces, is exclusive to Massena LAB and features a tapisserie dial in a deep, burnt peat color; a tone-on-tone “ghost” signature, and pale yellow Super-LumiNova on its hour markers and hands.

The U4S-BRZ-MLL shares the same, bronze case as its companion, the U4S-BRZ-ML. In the case of the U4S-BRZ-MLL, its titanium case back is engraved with an intricate ring of tapisserie, echoing the spirit of its dial.

Housed inside the 40mm bronze case shared by both watches is the automatic, Swiss-made, Sellita caliber SW200-1, with 28,800bph, a power reserve of 38 hours, and 26 jewels. Water resistance is 300m, and both watches feature a crystal of anti-reflective sapphire.

Each watch is delivered with two straps for added versatility: a TPU strap in olive green with a bronze buckle, and a “milkshake” distressed leather strap, also with a bronze buckle. Each example is delivered in a branded UNIMATIC x Massena LAB tough case with a warranty card and unique ID seal.

Italian watch brand Unimatic chooses titanium for the two new unique editions – Modello Uno U1S-T-MP and Modello Due U2S-T-MP. As a natural evolution of the Unimatic design process, the use of an advanced material such as grade II titanium allows a better mechanical stress resistance with an almost 45% weight reduction when compared to stainless steel.
