In collaboration with Hong Kong based watch brand UNDONE, Nivada Grenchen presents a unique collaborative edition of Depthmaster, better known as the “Pac-Man”.
Introduced in 1965, the Nivada Depthmaster was the very first dive watch to be waterproof to 1,000 meters – or 3,300 feet. This heavy-duty diver came in a cushion-shaped steel case with a diameter of 38mm, a substantial crown, a thick metal bezel with a knurled edge and no insert, and beefy lugs.
It also stands out with the ‘Deco’ font used for the cardinal markers. This legendary dive watch is also known as “Pac-Man”, thanks to its Pac-Man style hour-markers at 6 o’clock and 9 o’clock.
Nivada, together with the team at UNDONE, has created a Depthmaster that truly gives meaning to the “Pac-Man” moniker. It has a 39mm diameter black DLC-treated stainless steel case with sapphire crystal glass and helium release valve.
Proposed in a limited edition of only 200 timepieces, this timepiece comes with a matt-black textured dial with the emblematic “Pac-Man Yellow” theme. The steel case-back highlights the text “NIVADA GRENCHEN x UNDONE” in the same yellow shade.
The watch is powered by the SOPROD P024 automatic movement. This new Depthmaster is water resistant to 1000 meters.
This new Nivada Grenchen x UNDONE Depthmaster watch is available in a very accessible retail price of CHF 950.

Introduced in 2020, this UNDONE watch collection features two watches; the UNDONE Shunga: Edo and the UNDONE Shunga: Meiji. Each design is limited to 300 pieces worldwide and is uniquely serialized. These are a reinterpretation of the erotic watch aesthetic that was indicative of the high society in the 17th century and is still sought after in this present day and age.
The UNDONE Nippon Erotica: Shunga Collection explores both the art of escapism by the high society in the 17th century and the art of Shunga, a type of Japanese erotic art usually executed in the style of ukiyo-e.
The art was seen as a lucky charm to samurai, chonin (subordinate to the warrior class), and housewives; they would all suffer from separation from the opposite sex – arguing that Shunga was not superstitious but libidinous.
The UNDONE Shunga: Edo and the UNDONE Shunga: Meiji feature modern and ancient Shunga paintings, respectively. Without showing more than their upper bodies, the front of the watch leaves enough to your imagination. Turn these pieces around and you will be met with the “practical” part of the watch, the full scene of a pair engaging in coitus with a glimpse of the movement behind the patterned glass caseback.
The dials on both pieces are finished with “當世風俗通” (the Ukiyo custom of pleasureseeking) at 12 o’clock and “春” (Shunga) meaning the picture of spring, a euphemism for sex, on chronograph counter located at 9:00.
The UNDONE Shunga: Edo sports a muted and aged colorway with a beige and silver dial, paired with a vintage grey strap. UNDONE Shunga: Meiji flaunts an industrial modern theme with a navy and silver dial pairing and is complemented with a navy-blue suede strap.
The 316L stainless steel case is 12.7mm thick with a hardened domed K1 crystal and a display caseback. With a case width of 40mm and a lug-to-lug of 47.6mm, it offers versatility to suit both men’s and women’s wrists. Water resistance is guaranteed at 3 ATM/30 meters.
The watch is equipped with the Japanese TMI VK64 Mechanical-Quartz Hybrid Flyback Chronograph movement (supplied by SEIKO Manufacturing (H.K.) Limited), with a sweeping central chronograph seconds. The subdials show a 24-hour display and 60-minute counter.
The strap is immediately comfortable and is fitted with quick release spring bars that conform to the trendy swappable design.
In 2019, Hong Kong watch brand UNDONE first explored the Japanese ideology of impermanence and imperfection (Wabi-Sabi) in collaboration with renowned antique Katazome fabric craft house Simple Union. Last year, the brand launched its second collaboration with Simple Union: 無2(MŪ2), a 300-piece limited edition.
Launched in April 2021, UNDONE x Simple Union無3 (MŪ3) represents a deeper introspection of Wabi Sabi’s aesthetic philosophy, inspired by an artisanal dimension of different textures and materials. The Buddhist virtues of「無」,「常」,「苦」,「空」find renewed cadence in two reincarnations of the Kyoto Dial- rooted in Japanese ancestral craftsmanship & innovative modern watchmaking.
The third installment born from this collaboration includes two exceptional timepieces: UNDONE x Simple Union: Sometsuke and UNDONE Urushi.
These timepieces highlight traditional Japanese art crafts like Sometsuke and Urushi.
UNDONE x Simple Union: Sometsuke
A first for UNDONE, the Limited Edition UNDONE x Simple Union: Sometsuke features a white porcelain-looking dial which is achieved by enamel paint polished into a glossy finish, the finishing touches on the dial added by the blue minute track and numerals. The hour marker at “12” is replaced with the Simple Union logo as a mark of this valuable collaboration.
With this timepiece, UNDONE looks to further intensify the idea of 金継ぎ (Kintsugi), the art of mending broken porcelain using gold.
Look between the Kintsugi crack, and one will see a gold skeleton movement, a rare feature and often only seen in luxury watches. This reflects the beauty of mending broken porcelain with gold, as seen in many Japanese potteries, reinforcing the idea that it is the scars of trial and hardship that render life even more precious.
The indigo watch straps are made from 150+ year old Katazome fabric. “Kata” (型) means “stencil” or “pattern,” and “zome” (染め) means “to dye.” Katazome is a traditional dyeing method that began in 1603. Intricate designs of cranes, peonies, and chrysanthemums are hand-cut from Japanese stenciling paper; a dye-resistant rice paste is applied onto the fabric, which serves as the “stenciled out” designs when the fabric is dyed in indigo.
The pieces of Katazome fabric feature are rare examples of authentic antique Katazome work that has survived to this day–with no two similar pieces. The Katazome straps feature UNDONE’s signature quick-release straps.
The UNDONE x Simple Union: Sometsuke is limited to 300 of UNDONE’s first ever gold colored skeleton movement and handmade Katazome straps by Simple Union. Each timepiece features serial number on the caseback.
Visible through the transparent case back, the gold-colored Japanese TMI NH71 skeletonized automatic caliber offers a 41-hour power reserve. It has an accuracy range within -20~+40 seconds per day under normal conditions.
UNDONE x Simple Union: Urushi
Urushi is the traditional art of Japanese lacquerware. It also comes with an incredible history: Japanese monks made tea using parts from the Urushi tree, which was as toxic as poison ivy. The monks performed this as a ritual to complete their impending mummification process, which was rumored to help preserve the body and blur the boundary of life and death.
UNDONE further explores the philosophy of Urushi with the art of Maki-e. The black enamel painted dial, simulating the look of black lacquerware is inspired by the art of Urushi, a reflection of the dark philosophy of preservation and the secret to immortality.
It is complemented by Maki-e, an extremely popular centuries-old Japanese lacquer decoration technique, which involves the sprinkling of precious metals such as gold or silver onto the surface of lacquerware (e.g., the tableware in Japanese tea ceremony), and in this case, is the dial.
These timepieces are equipped with the NH35A automatic movements supplied by SEIKO Manufacturing (H.K.) Limited. This movement offers a 42-hour power reserve and tested to +/- 15 seconds p/day accuracy.
Origins of UNDONE’s “Kyoto Dial”
The Classic California Dial has undergone an oriental reinterpretation, the iconic top-half Roman numeral layout of the California Dial’s wartime necessitated design is replaced with four delicate grains of Kanji (「無」,「常」,「苦」,「空」), teaching the three marks of existence (三印法): impermanence (無常), suffering (苦) and absence of self-nature (空).
The 316L stainless steel Tartaruga case is 12.8mm thick with a double domed sapphire crystal and a display caseback. With a case width of 37mm and 43.3mm lug-to-lug, it offers the versatility to suit both men’s and women’s wrists. The hour and minute hands in both watches are lumed and offer strong contrast and legibility. Water resistance is guaranteed at 5ATM/50 meters with the help of a screw-down crown at three. The strap is immediately comfortable and is fitted with quick-release spring bars that conform to the trendy swappable design.
UNDONE x Simple Union: Sometsuke: The Kintsugi crack on the white enamel-painted (reinterpreted Classic California) dial reveals a gold-colored Japanese TMI NH71 skeletonized automatic caliber.
UNDONE Urushi: A reinterpretation of the California dial design is complemented with Maki-e-inspired decoration on a black enamel-painted dial. Inside the incredible design is a Japanese TMI.
With the UNDONE x Simple Union, one will be receiving the watch in an upscale packaging to complement this collaboration, creating the complete unboxing experience. The rectangular box is accompanied by a sleek black sleeve. The sleeve is given its finishing touch with a ceramic motif, to further showcase the intricate art of Sometsuke.
Limited to 300 pieces, the UNDONE x Simple Union: “Sometsuke” has a retail price of 488 USD. The UNDONE “Urushi” watch costs 445 USD.
UNDONE pays tribute to Wonder Woman and every woman on this planet with the launch of the UNDONE x Wonder Woman 84 collection.
The UNDONE x Wonder Woman 84 is a reflection of modern femininity – the fine balance between athleticism and femininity.
The watch is available in two colors – sapphire and ruby, which aptly represent the striking colors of Wonder Woman’s armor. On the sunburst dial is an eight-pointed star, a symbol seen on Wonder Woman’s tiara. The eye-catching star sits at 12 o’clock, and is topped with a genuine diamond.
A Wonder Woman emblem (the golden eagle) can be seen at the counterweight of the second hand. The applied indices, 8 and 4, serve as an homage to the movie Wonder Woman 1984. A gem is inserted into the crown, a subtle detail that can only be noticed when observed closely.
On the caseback are three simple yet powerful words, ‘truth’, ‘love’, and ‘justice’, everything that Wonder Woman stands for. Accompanying the watch is a classy leather strap and a double tour strap (a reimagined element of Wonder Woman’s sandals) for that fashionable and layered look.
The UNDONE x Wonder Woman 84 collection is more than just an inspired piece from the Wonder Woman movie, it is a recognition of the power women have in every aspect of life.
A tasteful reinterpretation of Wonder Woman’s aesthetics, the UNDONE x Wonder Woman 84 Sapphire and Ruby are versatile pieces that look great for both day and evening. Both models are limited editions with only 100 pieces per color.
Housing UNDONE x Wonder Woman 84 Sapphire and Ruby is a 316L stainless steel case, PVD coated in rose gold for that final classy touch. The case measures in at 34mm diameter, with the height coming in at 11mm from the case back to the top of the hardened domed K1 Crystal.
Found in both models, is the Japanese TMI VH31 Quartz movement with Sweep Second Hand (supplied by SEIKO Manufacturing (H.K.) Limited). The watch is water-resistant to 3 ATM/30 meters lending to Wonder Woman 84’s everyday versatility.

The new UNDONE Terra collection, designed for modern men and women, strives to be the perfect entry piece for those looking to accessorize with watches, effortlessly. The result: three pieces of thoughtfully crafted timepieces, a remodification of the timeless, simplistic appeal of vintage military watches fit for the modern metropolitan existence.
Inspired by the 30s and 40s, the design thinking behind Terra Daybreak and Daybreak Suede is a reinterpretation of traditional military issued watches back in the old days. The classic design of a tartaruga (tortoise) shaped case, an UNDONE’s first, embraces the wrist and sits comfortably at 37mm, true to vintage sizing.
However, Terra Daybreak and Daybreak Suede are more than just vintage pieces. Keeping in mind the contemporary styles of the men and women today, the Terra Daybreak and Daybreak Suede are versatile accessories for almost any occasion.
Both Terra Daybreak and Daybreak Suede come with a 2-colored lume. The 12-hour numbers illuminate in blue, while the thick indices markers, the iconic triangle (for easy identification) at 12 o’clock, and the hour & minute hands light up in green under low-light conditions.
Terra Nightfall, a limited edition of just 100 pieces, is a creation that resonates with the modern language of watch design. Featuring a black and red colorway, Terra Nightfall is made for the streets.
Relaxed and stylish, the Terra Nightfall is a fashion accessory that can be easily paired with a tee shirt or casual shirt. The idea is to keep it casual, making the complete outfit fashionable yet functional, and the process stress-free.
Upon nightfall, the watch’s 12-hour numbers, indices markers as well as the hour and minute hands lume in green to ensure maximum clarity in the dark.
Made to be extremely versatile and stylish, all three Terra pieces are created as a fashion accessory that helps inspire one to dress better.
Housing Daybreak and Nightfall is a 316L stainless steel case, with the latter coated in satin black PVD. The case measures in at 37mm diameter and 43.3mm lug-to-lug, with the height coming in at 12.8mm from the case back to the top of the double-domed Sapphire Crystal, giving it a curvaceous side profile.
Found in both models, is the Japanese TMI NH35A Mechanical Movement with an Automatic Winding Mechanism (supplied by SEIKO Manufacturing (H.K.) Limited) with a 42-hour power reserve and tested to +/- 15 seconds p/day accuracy.
The watch is water-resistant to 5 ATM/50 meters, is guaranteed by the screw-down crown, lending to Terra’s everyday versatility.
In Mexico, the Day of the Dead is a festival that celebrates life and death. UNDONE presents the Calavera Neón timepiece to mark this vibrant celebration.
The Day of the Dead is a festival that originated several thousands of years ago. It was considered disrespectful to mourn the dead, who would still be regarded as members of the community. Dia de Los Muertos is a 2-day festivity, with families coming together to honor and remember the lives of their loved ones who have passed through prayer, dance, feasts, and rituals.
Altars and gravestones are decorated in vibrant orange and purple offerings, covered in Marigold flowers and personal possession, encouraging the deceased to return home and hear the prayers of their loved ones. It is also a time for spiritual reflection, to honor ancestors, and to celebrate the lives that they have lived, rather than to mourn their loss.
One of the central symbols we often see in the depictions of the Day of the Dead is the Calavera, meaning “Skull”. These are ornate skulls with vibrant colors, beautifully adorned with designs and flowers. Some are edible while others are purely decorative.
They are made usually by hand from either sugar (called Alfeñiques / Calavera de Azucar) or clay, and sometimes referred to as a “sugar skull”. This is a key inspiration for the dial design – a colourful skull that truly reflects the spirit of the festival.
Mexican printmaker and political cartoonist José Guadalupe Posada, hugely influential across Latin America and amongst artists for his satirical acuteness and social engagement, created an etching of a skull with an accompanying phrase “todos somos calaveras,” translated to “we are all skulls.” It has given a deeper meaning to the way that life should be lived – underneath the surface of all our faults and differences, roles, and social status, we are but mortal living skeletons.
The Calavera Neón brings together the influences of José Guadalupe Posada’s legendary phrase and the deeply historical Mexican celebration. The watch design reflects the vibrant colors on the ornate skulls seen displayed on the days of the celebration.
The striking dial is printed with fluorescent paint (as a reflection of the bright colors of the festivities), which is a first in UNDONE watches’ history, and is creatively designed with multiple colors that glow under black / UV light.
The watch caseback is engraved with a guitar-strumming skeleton coupled with Posada’s famous quote, “Todos Somos Calaveras.”
As a little something extra, UNDONE has decided to include a UV Light Keychain with every watch to show off the Calavera Neón in all its fluorescent brilliance, anywhere.
The “Calavera Neón” is housed in a stainless steel case; PVD coated in satin black with a glossy finish. The case measures 40mm in diameter (excl. crown) and is 47.6mm lug to lug, with the height coming in at 12mm from the case back to the top of the domed K1 crystal lens.
Driving this electric celebration is a Japanese TMI VK61 Mechanical-Quartz Hybrid Flyback Chronograph (supplied by SEIKO Manufacturing (H.K.) Limited).
This limited edition collection was created in collaboration with Stephen Bliss, the artist of one of the biggest titles in videogame history. In this ground-breaking collaboration, Stephen Bliss, the artist who established the highly recognizable, illustrative style we all know and love, brings his iconic pop-culture influences and a morbid sense of humour to UNDONE’s set of two limited edition Monopoly Collector’s timepieces. Each model is limited to 500 pieces.
“The Benjamin” by Stephen Bliss is a United States Series 2006A, $100 banknote you can wear on your wrist! Signed off not by the US Secretary of Treasury but by Stephen himself; the dial features the authentic Monopoly board-game patent number (“No. 2,026,082” registered by the Parker Brothers back in December 31, 1935) cleverly disguised as a U.S. Mint issuance number.
The greenback themed timepiece is complimented by Genuine Brown Calf straps featuring UNDONE’s signature quick-release technology. The sub-dials featuring the Monopoly seal and Uncle Pennybags lume up under UV light, much like the anti-counterfeiting measures of modern banknotes. The ‘applied sword’ indices and the silver tachymeter reinforce the theme by adding an extra dimension of Mr Monopoly breaking out of a bank vault.
“The Godfather” by Stephen Bliss has all the elements and subtleties expected of a classy dress watch; applied indices, a Monopoly-red minute track along with the blend of brush and polished finishing ensures a sophisticated feel without the garishness of too-much gold. The Black Cordura quick-release strap makes this a versatile piece perfect for both tux and party occasions. But there’s more… the glint of the gold-pressed banknotes spraying out from Mr Monopoly’s twin cash cannons against the guillochéd subdials are visible only from particular angles.
Each watch caseback comes laser engraved with one of five special parodies of the classic “Chance/Community Chest”, all designed by Bliss. Both the Benjamin and the Godfather watch models come in a premium “Luxury Tax” tin case, complete with a commemorative golden 1M Monopoly bill featuring Rich Uncle Pennybags and Penny Gladrags.

On 5th December 2019, UNDONE announced a three-year global licensing agreement with Warner Bros.
Since his first appearance on the pages of DETECTIVE COMICS #27 on March 30, 1939, Batman’s role and look as a crime-fighting cultural icon continues to evolve in our collective consciousness. In 2019, Batman celebrated his 80th anniversary and to celebrate this milestone UNDONE designed a premium collection, which is also the first Titanium model from the Hong Kong based watch brand.
The UNDONE x BATMAN 80th Anniversary Collection pays homage to perhaps two of the most definitive eras in Batman’s evolution: The Caped Crusader and The Dark Knight.
The Caped Crusader model features a Grade II Titanium body. The cushion-case, crown and pushers are light weight, agile and highly corrosion resistant.
The case has a micro-blasted finish for ultimate stealth and its aggressive shoulder lines are reminiscent of the Batmobile. The distinctive yellow can be found on the centre console, circling the tachymetre and its “80” mark, a nod to Batman’s 80th anniversary.
Further, on the chronograph seconds, hands and subdials, the classic oval insignia (1989-1993) in the form of a Batarang (the bat-shaped throwing weapon used by Batman) can be found.
Equally fearsome in the dark, the dial reveals a green luminous detect-a-scope and Bat-Signal minute subdial whilst the hands and applied indices are an icy blue.
The Dark Knight is a realistic interpretation on the duality of Bruce Wayne/Batman’s identities. The matted grey look of the Titanium micro-blasted cushion case along with the two-tone dial design converges to an almost “Noir”/ “B&W movie” aesthetic.
Here you will find the 2011 NEW 52 COMICS version of the Bat emblem stealthily debossed into the subdial. In the darkness, the lume on the appliques and chronograph counters come alive like the blue-nitrous boosters of the Batmobile’s powerful engine.
“The Caped Crusader” and “The Dark Knight” will come in an open glass case back, laser serialized with a special commemorative Batman 80th Anniversary badge based on the cover of DETECTIVE COMICS #27 on March 30, 1939. Both models will arrive in a tactical, yet stylish metal carrying case featuring the Bat emblem.
UNDONEhas committed to donate a portion of the proceeds on this project to support the heroic work of the Hope For Henry Foundation; who help seriously ill children and their families through difficult times.
Both “The Caped Crusader” and “The Dark Knight” are housed in Grade II Titanium; a 25% weight reduction from the regular UNDONE Urban series. The case measures in at 40mm diameter (43mm including crown) and 48mm lug-to-lug length. Height has been reduced by 0.5mm to 13.3mm; making this whole new chassis lighter and thinner. The case back highlights the commemorative Batman 80th Anniversary badge.
The watches are powered by the Japanese TMI VK64 Mechanical-Quartz Hybrid Flyback Chronograph movement.
Recommended retail price of UNDONE x Batman 80th Anniversary watch is USD $359.
Inspired by the legendary California dial military diving watches of the WWII era, UNDONE has created the Basecamp Cali watch. At almost a century old, the peculiar design is still distinguishable by the unchanged half Arabic – half Roman numerical layout.
Quartered by horizontal markers and a triangle; laid on thick for ease of application and higher legibility, this design has been highly sought-after by the watch connoisseurs who prefer a more esoteric, vintage twist.
At a glance this dial will appear the typical California design, highly legible, slightly barmy and eclectic. However, catch it in the right lighting and the blank area reveals an intricate, waffle pattern typically found on dress watches; fine lines that allow the light to explore deeper and bring an added dimension to the dial.
The Basecamp Cali watch is available in Olive Green, Ebony Black and Blue dial versions. The default configuration will ship with the classic Mercedes hour and sword minutes handset and in true UNDONE style, users will be able to customize this to suit.
The UNDONE Basecamp Cali automatic watch features a 316L stainless steel case; circular brushed on top and polished along the sides and chamfers. The case measures in at 40mm diameter, 48mm lug-to-lug and 20mm strap width. Height comes in at 15mm from case back to the top of the double-domed Lexan Polycarbonate crystal; which gives it that curvaceous side profile.
The smooth-rotating bezel uses a K1 glass insert; an upgrade from the original Plexiglass, adding more depth and durability without forfeiting the vintage feel.
Powering the Basecamp Cali is the tried and trusted SII NH35A self-winding hackable movement, which displays time in a three-hand format.
As part of the continuous upgrade of components and materials, Basecamp has been rated at 100m water resistance with the inside protected by a screw down case back and crown; both octagonal in design for added grip and giving the watch subtle, angular definitions.
Retail price the UNDONE Basecamp Cali watch is $315 USD (excluding personalization).

Introduced in 2019, the UNDONE Type 20 watch model pays homage to the gallantry of fighter pilots and their high-precision instruments. Type 20 belongs to UNDONE’s best-selling Urban collection, which offers timepieces that incorporate both retro and modern designs, ranging from suave to street-smart.
The original Type 20 began as standard-issue equipment for the French Air Force and Naval Aviation personnel in the 1950s. It became one of the most popular pilot watches in the post-WWII period, a time often dubbed as the “golden age” of mechanical watches. UNDONE now brings consumers a current, customizable recreation of the Type 20.
UNDONE’s Type 20 boasts a well-balanced body that features two iconic, oversized “big eye” sub-dials, presented in a brushed and polished 316L stainless steel case. Its “coin” bezel and large “diamond” crown also hark back to the glory days, when they gave added tactile benefit to pilots wearing thick leather gloves. Its new, sweeping chrono second hand is a fresh look for UNDONE – it is subtly ornamented with an arrow at the end, a detail reminiscent of old military watches.
The Type 20 collection marries the aesthetics of a bygone era with UNDONE’s exemplary customization options. Type 20 has three pre-set designs: Classic, Panda and Special Edition.
The Type 20 “Classic” dial is black with vintage lumed numerals. The Type 20 “Panda” dial is white, with black numerals and black sub-dials. Hands for both the “Classic” and “Panda” come in black or white, while the 20mm strap options are more varied, with 15 different picks of materials, textures or colors.
Limited to 150 pieces, the Type 20 “Special Edition” is a contemporary interpretation of the original watch. Set in a black case, it displays a black dial background with light blue numerals and white sub-dials, which, along with its white hands, glow blue instead of the traditional green. This model comes with two black straps, in Cordura and NATO styles.
The nostalgic navigator’s watch is powered by a mecha-quartz Seiko VK64 hybrid movement, with a mechanical 60-minute sweeping chronograph fly-back reset: the elegance of a mechanical coupled with the reliability and precision of a quartz calibre.
Its case width measures 41.5mm excluding the crown, and is 12.1mm thick including the hardened domed K1 crystal. Initials can be added onto the Type 20 at the 12 o’clock position, and, typical of UNDONE timepieces, casebacks are customizable with glass, engravings and prints.
Retail price is US$ 289.

Drawing from the overwhelming feedback on their first Batman Collection, UNDONE presents the Batman Quantum collection.
This Batman Quantum watch boasts a powerhouse NH35A automatic movement, scratch-proof sapphire crystal dome and the same indestructible Grade II Titanium alloy case. The UNDONE x Batman Quantum collection is comprised of two editions: the Batman Quantum Black (Limited Edition) and the Batman Quantum Silver (Standard Edition).
In conceiving the watch pieces, great attention to detail was put into presenting a tribute loyal to the classic design language in Batman’s formidable arsenal of iconic suits, vehicles and gadgets.
Inspired by the “Batmobile” and Mech-Batsuit, the case sports a muted and sinister colorway, along with a sleek, sandblasted finishing touch for an ultimate reminiscent of its distinctive angles. The Batman Quantum Black features the new DLC (diamond-like-carbon) coating technology, making it even meaner and indestructible.
The dial is uniquely designed to be semi-transparent, revealing the automatic movement beneath. This cleverly reflects Batman’s renowned message, “no matter how dark the night… there will be no hiding place for evil”. Also, set on the dial are the military-looking indices that bear a striking resemblance to the pipe of the Batmobile’s jet-engine rear exhaust.
Eagle-eyed fans would notice a subtle highlight of the yellow date indicator wheel, reimagined to add a finishing touch to the muscular, blackout character. It is also a reminder of Batman’s distinctive yellow oval insignia (1989-1993) on his suit, brought back by Michael Keaton, who starred as the titular hero.
When darkness falls, the lume illuminates to showcase a quantum radar – an icy blue, luminous detect-a-scope radar.
The illumination symbolizes Batman’s rebellion and fearsomeness and the refusal to fade in the dark.
The bold bat-shaped logo on the crown signifies darkness, mystery and triumph over fear – deadly in all the best ways. Also, as a nod to the silent guardian, the watchful protector and the dark knight, a Batman’s emblem is printed on the medallion insert that is then integrated onto the watch’s caseback.
The Batsuit, made of hardened plates on titanium-dipped tri-weave fibers, was broken into multiple pieces of armor over a more flexible bodysuit for greater mobility. The watch strap is fashioned after the quality of his armor. Adding the finishing touch to the strap is the buckle, which stealthily resembles Batman’s form-fitting batsuit material.
The limited edition of the UNDONE Batman Quantum Black (500 pieces worldwide) is finished with an additional DLC (diamond-like-carbon) coating for that signature bat-black swagger.
The Batman Quantum boasts a Japanese TMI NH35A Automatic Winding Mechanism (supplied by SEIKO Manufacturing (H.K.) Limited) housed in a Grade II Titanium case with a sandblasted finishing touch, complete with a sapphire crystal lens. The case measures at 47mm (50mm including the crown) in diameter and a thickness of 16.25mm including the crystal lens. The bezel of the watch comes to 43mm in diameter.
Differentiating itself from the Standard Edition, the Batman Quantum Black (Limited Edition) comes with a DLC (diamond-like-carbon) coating.

Created in partnership with King Features, UNDONE has created a set of 2 limited edition timepieces “El Capitan” and “The Sailorman” to celebrate Popeye, the Sailor Man. Each design is limited to 300 pieces worldwide.
Popeye himself stands proud in the middle of the dial in his well-loved gruffy, one-eye squinting, corn-cob pipe tooting demeanour, with his comically muscular arms serving as the functioning hours and minutes hands.
Inspired by the overall vintage aesthetic of the “Marine Nationale”, an iconic design commissioned by the French Navy, the El Capitan is a playful, contemporary take on the original classic dive watch. Evident in its navy blue colour-way, unique block-shaped indices and beige diver function numerals, El Capitan encapsulates an ultimate homage to the timeless wristwatches used by mariners in the 1950s-1970s.
In Complement, UNDONE Introduces the brand’s first-ever 316L flat 3-link “Oyster” style stainless steel bracelet strap, complete with the signature quick-release technology.
All facets of the watch combined exude a specific vintage nautical sensibility and are perfectly in tune with Popeye’s renowned identity as a sailor.
The distinctive parachute braided strap of The Sailorman is a colourful, whimsical recreation of the Marine Nationale strap seen on vintage dive watches, innovatively combining Popeye’s iconic red and black colour scheme into the historical design elements for an intricate aesthetic.
The history could be traced down to the late 1950s when the French Navy supplied watch “heads” without straps. In the absence of said straps, Frogmen and members of the Marine Nationale would have to make straps fashioned from elastic parachute braid and parachute hardware.
The unique diver strap seen throughout the horology brings forth what is a part of the time-honoured look of the MN watch – a comfy slip-on and rugged durability, now dedicated to history buffs and military fans.
The Sailorman is also complemented by a modernized California dial layout, with a hollow half Arabic that is unlike the brand’s other Cali dials and a half-Roman numerical design.
UNDONE has created the novel Spinach tin-can style packaging for both El Capitan and The Sailorman, offering a last-minute ‘fresh’ inspiration that comes in handy for you to face your challenges head-on.
Housing the El Capitan and The Sailorman is a 316L stainless steel case, with the latter coated in satin black PVD.
The case measures in at 40mm diameter and 48mm lug-to-lug, with the height coming in at 15mm from the case back to the top of the double-domed Lexan Polycarbonate crystal, giving it a curvaceous side profile.
The bi-directional rotating bezel uses a K1 glass insert, as a nod to the vintage divers of yesteryears. The 100m water resistance is ensured by the screw-down red-tinted, glass caseback, allowing for professional marine activity.
Finishing touches include Popeye and his iconic anchor tattoo engraved on the caseback. Powering the El Capitan and The Sailorman are the trusted NH35A Automatic Winding Mechanism; with a 42-hour power reserve and tested to +/-15 secs p/day accuracy.
Created for the aviator and vintage design enthusiasts, the UNDONE Aero watch is a tribute to aviation & its glorious yesteryear.
The rotating bezel; by P.V.H Weems was invented with one goal in mind – to aid pilots with a tool to navigate the open skies. In the hands of a skilled user, the mechanical accuracy can be harnessed to pinpoint flight paths. As a nod to the reliability expected from pilots, the rotating bezel is precise with a robust, ergonomic upgrade from the second-setting dial.
In true UNDONE fashion, the Aero does not only encapsulate a homage to P.V.H. Weems but also continues to pay tribute to the vintage-inspired timepiece; a watch that is true to its origins. With an additional crown at 2 o’clock functioning as a bezel lock, often found on vintage aviation watches, it is designed to clamp down with just a twist of the crown.
The wider bezel allows for larger fonts and printing; increasing legibility, improving ease-of manufacturing while also giving pilots a more accessible instrument to operate while wearing thick, leather flight gloves.
The Aero will be featuring two dial options: The Scientific and the Commando. True to its vintage inspiration, the Scientific features a cream colour dial that is faithful to the bold Arabic numerals and blued hands.
Three hands are aligned to three separate tracks for ease of legibility and accuracy of setting. The syringe hour and minute hands are luminescent, where the minute hand lume perfectly aligns with the 5-minute markers, allowing for readability and clarity throughout flight at night.
The Commando is a modernized interpretation of the original watch drawing design elements from field and aviation timepieces throughout the decades. The speckled/ textured dial adorns highly legible Arabic hour markers indicating 12 hours in faux patina and 24 hours in red. An orientation arrow can also be found at the 12-position.
For ease of timekeeping, the hands have been chosen with the minutes stretching to the very edge of the widened minute track. The seconds are differentiated in a striking red which can be found at three different elements on the watch. Helping hold this tool watch to your wrist is a pair of UNDONE‘s quick-release Cordura straps; chosen for their fray resistance and rugged durability.
Aero Scientific and Commando will be housed in a 316L stainless steel case; measuring in at 40mm diameter and 48mm lug-to-lug. The height comes in at 15mm from the case back to the top of the double-domed Lexan Polycarbonate crystal, giving it a curvaceous side profile.
True to its origin, the “coin” bezel allows for an increased grip, under all situations. The smooth-rotating bezel uses a 316L stainless steel insert, continuing to add to the depth and durability without foregoing the vintage feel.
The nostalgic aviation watch is powered by the tried and trusted SII NH35A; a self-wind, hackable, workhorse movement displaying time in a three-hand format.
The Aero is fitted with a screw-down crown, octagonal in design, and is also equipped with an additional crown functioning as the bezel lock.
UNDONE presents a special edition watch named after the Flash, a character in American comic books published by DC Comics. One of DC Comics’ most popular characters, Flash is known for his ability to travel to run at light speed.
“UNDONE x Flash: Into the Void” is a poetic interpretation of the Speedster’s unrivalled lightning speed. Just like the ring that holds together his costume, UNDONE has created an all-encompassing case to build “Into the Void”.
The Speedster’s iconography takes centre stage in the form of a bold yet elegant bolt-shaped seconds hand, sweeping across the void of the watch’s minimalist blackout design. The ghost arrow bezel, muted minimalist indices, and pitch-black dial are all an ode to the man who could run so fast.
Housing the Flash is a 316L stainless steel case; PVD coated in satin black. The case measures in at 40mm diameter, 48mm lug-to-lug, and 15mm thickness. Protecting the lightning bolt is a LEXAN Polycarbonate lens; iconic to UNDONE’s Basecamp collection, with an impact resistance 250x greater than standard glass.
The ghost-arrow bezel is smooth, bi-directional and click less; a nod to the vintage divers of yesteryears. Its 100m water resistance is guaranteed by the screw-down case back and crown. A final touch can be found in the form of the Warner Bros & DC logo adorning the glass caseback.
Powering the Flash’s speed is the trusted SII NH35A; with a 42-hour power reserve and tested to +/- 15 secs p/day accuracy.
