Swiss watch brand Pilo & Co Genève presents Extraneō, a new collection of automatic watches for men.

This new timepiece features a new signature case measuring a curvaceous 40 mm to offer optimum wearer comfort. Extraneō is available in three different iterations: steel, rose gold PVD and titanium black PVD.

The Extraneō by Pilo & Co Genève is fitted with a screw-down case-back. The brand’s coat of arms emblazoned across the medal-like surface in mat finish disguises the back’s gentle saucer-like profile.

The domed sapphire crystal front glass echoes the soft curves of the case. The hands of the Extraneō, for the first time, boasts a patent of protection: the scooped openwork pointers vary in length accordingly as form follows the function of either minute or hour indication.

Adorned with the clou de Paris guilloché decoration, the innermost surface of the dial features two miniature plaques displaying the “Pilo & Co Genève” brand signature and “Automatic Limited Edition” label.

The centre dial is framed by a hollow-centred hour-ring punctuated with Roman numeral markers. A second double-circle enhances the three-dimensional effect of the Extraneō and the dial’s reliefs.

The Pilo & Co Genève Extraneō watch houses the automatic P024 calibre. Made by the independent Swiss manufactory Soprod, this 25 jewel self-winding movement beats at a rate of 28,800 vibrations per hour, or 4 Hertz.

Equipped with hacking seconds function, Incabloc shock protection and hand-winding feature, the Soprod P024 calibre offers a power reserve of 38 hours.

The new Pièce d’Exception PW01 Timepiece is equipped with an exclusive Pilo & Co mechanical caliber.

Exclusively developed for Pilo & Co Genève, PW01 Caliber is a 27 jewels self-winding mechanical movement that beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hertz). This self-winding movement features a deep black oscillating mass.

In addition to basic time display function, the movement powers complications like Day-Date, GMT (second time zone) and a 40-hour power reserve indicator.

Housed in a 44 mm diameter case waterproof to 5 atmospheres (50 meters), this new timepiece is now available in several dial versions.

A total of 7 combinations proposed on stitched leather straps with ardillon buckle, lined with silicone for a sportier touch, matching the dial tones, as well as 3 variants available on stainless steel wristbands.

Swiss watch brand Pilo & Co Geneva presents a collection named after Montecristo, an island located in the Tyrrhenian Sea.

The watch dial boasts a terrestrial globe whose blue of some versions is reminiscent of marine infiniteness. One blinks in front of the iridescent sea spray of the skyline, also in front of the ‘soleillé guillochage’ of the dial.

Suddenly, as steep as the cliffs that inspired Alexandre Dumas, the Roman numerals and hour markers rise beyond the main relief of the dial. They are like claws clinging to the idea of catching a world whose countdown is perceived at 6:00 am, via a small minute hand.

The brand offers eight models in this new collection. Four models have a leather strap, recognizable by its orange inner band that adds strength and portability. The other four have a 316L steel wrist strap with a folding buckle also made of the same steel as the case.

In addition to these aesthetic and technical options, there is also this little touch of British spirit, in the marine chronometry timepieces style: blued hands crafted according to the purest watchmaking traditions.

This is a deliberate allusion to authentic watchmaking codes and the fact that in 1852 the Englishman George Watson Taylor bought the island to build a mansion and to plant a full-scale garden of rare shoots and different species.

The Pilo & Co Genève Montecristo watches are water-resistant to 30 metres, with a screw-down crown and an engraved back. Available in all 316L steel, in bicolor 316L steel and PVD pink gold, these watches are offered in two sizes: with a diameter of 41 mm or 44 mm.

Its multi-level dial features a date at 3 o’clock, a small seconds at 6 o’clock and blued hour indexes and numerals. The watch is powered with a high precision Swiss quartz caliber.
