Mido Multifort Inspired By Architecture 20th Anniversary Limited Edition, Reference M005.430.11.061.81

Swiss watch brand Mido is celebrating 20 years of passion for architecture with the launch of the fourth model in a series of five: the Multifort.

This anniversary edition crafted from steel embodies robustness and reliability, the defining characteristics of Mido’s oldest collection, just like the Sydney Harbour Bridge that inspired it.

Mido Multifort Inspired By Architecture 20th Anniversary Limited Edition

Created in 2002, the All Dial collection was the first to evoke one of the most famous monuments of ancient Rome in its design: the immense Colosseum amphitheatre. Ever since, the art of architecture has been written into the creative DNA of Mido and has influenced all of its collections.

The robust Multifort references the Sydney Harbour Bridge. On its characteristic dial, Geneva stripes recall the bridge’s suspension cables.

Mido Multifort Inspired By Architecture 20th Anniversary Limited Edition

Its anthracite dial decorated with Geneva stripes recalling the suspension cables on the Harbour Bridge also depicts the bridge in black Super-LumiNova®. In the dark, the phosphorescent substance works its magic, its lines appearing in green to match the indexes and hour and minute hands, which are also luminescent.

Mido Multifort Inspired By Architecture 20th Anniversary Limited Edition

In the daytime, the light plays on the surfaces of the faceted hour and minute hands and the polished indexes, which stand out against the deep shade of the dial.

Mido Multifort Inspired By Architecture 20th Anniversary Limited Edition

An aperture at 3 o’clock displays the day and date, a very useful everyday function. Finely crafted from steel – with alternating satin-finished and polished surfaces for greater elegance – this new Multifort perfectly encapsulates the collection’s DNA. Fitted with a screwed crown, the watch has water-resistance up to 100 m.

Mido Multifort Inspired By Architecture 20th Anniversary Limited Edition

The Caliber 80 provides up to 80 hours of power reserve. The case back of this anniversary model is engraved with a drawing of the Sydney Harbour Bridge that inspired it.

Mido Multifort Inspired By Architecture 20th Anniversary Limited Edition case back

A special presentation box decorated with a medallion houses each watch in this rare limited edition of 1,932 pieces – a reference to the year in which the bridge was opened.

Mido Rainflower Blossom, Reference M043.236.36.101.00

For the first time, Mido has created a skeleton watch especially dedicated to women. The new and audacious Rainflower Blossom features delicate lines, directly inspired by the lotus flower shape of Singapore’s contemporary ArtScience Museum.

The face of the Rainflower Blossom features an iridescent mother-of-pearl flower, adorned with a rose-gold-coloured polished border. Its openwork petals playfully reveal the beating heart of the watch.

Mido Rainflower Blossom watch

Glimpsed among other delicate and finely decorated mechanical details are the regular palpitations of the escape wheel and the oscillations of the balance at 12 o’clock. Polished rose-gold-coloured indexes mark the hours, illuminating this gracious yet daring display.

Mido Rainflower Blossom

For perfect legibility, the intense beauty of the black varnished hands, which have been finely skeletonised for the hours and minutes, stands out against the dial.

Mido Rainflower Blossom

The charms of the Rainflower Blossom are nestled within a rose-gold-coloured steel case, its sides polished and sandblasted to resemble petals. This composition, designed to draw the eye, continues onto the wrist, with a crocodile-look cow leather black strap.

Mido Rainflower Blossom

The transparent case back reveals the very precise Caliber 80 fitted with a Nivachron™ balance-spring. In addition to excellent resistance to shocks and wear and tear, this material considerably reduces the effect of magnetic fields on the regularity of the watch.

Mido Rainflower Blossom

Its visible oscillating weight is adorned with a “Rainflower” decoration, its interlaced lines reminiscent of the core of the Singapore ArtScience museum that inspired it. Particularly reputed for its reliability, the Caliber 80 offers an excellent power reserve of up to 80 hours.

Habring² Chrono Felix Perpetual with Salmon Dial

The Habring² manufactory in Carinthia, Austria presents Chrono Felix Perpetual, a petit-sized wristwatch with perpetual calendar and a single button chronograph.

Habring² Chrono Felix Perpetual with Salmon Dial

This manual-wound mechanical movement incorporates a perpetual calendar module made by the famous Swiss manufactory Dubois Depraz from the Vallée de Joux.

Habring² Chrono Felix Perpetual with Salmon Dial

This Habring² Chrono-Felix Perpetual model has a salmon colored dial. The chronograph minute counter comes through the moon display and counts a maximum of 30 minutes.

Sjöö Sandström Landsort 459m

Sjöö Sandström was established in 1986 and launched the first-ever Swedish diving watch “Landsort” in 2011. The Swedish watch-manufacturer now presents a new edition of the unique watch in three different styles, as well as one limited edition model.

In close collaboration with divers from the Swedish Navy, Landsort was designed and constructed to sustain pressure at 459 meters, which is equivalent to the depth of the deepest ravine in the Baltic Sea with the same name.

The watch was a big success and instantly became a natural part of the company’s DNA. For many years, Sjöö Sandström has worked on designing and manufacturing a sequel, and now the time has come.

Sjöö Sandström Landsort 459m watches

The new Landsort 459m comes in three different executions: Stainless steel with dials in black, blue, or green. The new, updated sapphire crystal bezel effectively resists scratches and marks, and the hour hand is now filled with superluminova – leaving no one wondering what the time is in dark water under the surface or in the hours of the night.

Sjöö Sandström Landsort 459m Black

The old diving helmet on the case back pays tribute to all diving pioneers. The rubber band has an updated design alongside with the buckle.

Sjöö Sandström Landsort 459m Blue

With its 42.5 mm case, the design experience is sleeker compared to the previous model of 44.2 mm. Adding to that, a slimmer crown protection adds further elegance.

Sjöö Sandström Landsort 459m Green

The legacy of Landsort is celebrated further by launching a limited edition with a bronze case. The Limited edition Landsort 459m comes in a specially designed box which also contains an extra rubber band, screwdriver, and an extra, replaceable sapphire crystal bezel.

YEMA Superman 500 GMT

A major evolution of YEMA’s 1960s iconic model, the new Superman 500 GMT preserves its main professional diving features while providing a 3-time GMT function for all globetrotters. For the first time water resistant to 500m, this enhanced Superman benefits from a modernized architecture and substantial technical improvements.

Equipped with the In-house GMT Caliber YEMA3000, the Superman 500 GMT is available in three different models starting from September, 15th in pre-order. The first 200 watches are engraved with a unique number from 001 to 200.

YEMA Superman 500 GMT watch

While preserving its iconic design, this enhanced Superman benefits from a modernized architecture and substantial technical improvements. As the Franco-Swiss Jura Arc is increasingly integrated, YEMA works now with new local suppliers for a more responsible and better quality production,

The bezel clamp has been redesigned to ensure better stability with the crown tube. New micro drilling in strategic areas of the case right under the bezel allows for optimized rotation of the bezel click spring and a more precise alignment of the bezel insert.

YEMA Superman 500 GMT

With a new joint layout, it will now be possible to adjust the setting of the bezel and its bezel lock on the surface of the water. The Superman benefits from a 3 bar seal in the unscrewed crown position representing a major improvement.

YEMA Superman 500 GMT watch with Pepsi bezel

While maintaining its thickness of 2.6 mm, the double dome sapphire crystal has also undergone a change to make it more resistant while retaining the original DNA of the Superman. The height of the glass has been reduced by 0.3 mm while widening by 0.6 mm on its outside diameter.

YEMA SUPERMAN 500 GMT BATMAN

Beating inside the Superman 500 GMT, the second-generation in-house automatic Caliber YEMA 3000 offers a Daily Rate of +/- 10 s/d and a power reserve of 42h.

Bi-directional 24-hour graduated bezel made of scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, offering a high-quality appearance. The GMT complication makes it possible to read up to 3 different time zones thanks to the GMT hand and the rotating (24 clicks) bezel.

YEMA Superman 500 GMT watch

The unique Superman bezel-lock at 3 o’clock has proven very useful to professional divers and is found on all Superman models since 1963. New technical improvements allow this Superman to be water resistant up to 50 BAR (500 meters) and 3 BAR (30 meters) with the crown unscrewed.

The markers, hands and bezel are treated with Super-LumiNova Grade A to ensure increased readability. The iconic seconds hand with its head shaped like a shovel is exactly the same used in other 1970’s Superman models.

The YEMA Superman 500 GMT is available with Black & White, BATMAN and PEPSI themed bezels.

The GMT bezel with its Black & White sapphire insert combined with Super LumiNova, required a special and innovative design to offer day/night visibility even in the dark. This specific and meticulous construction made it possible to really dissociate the bezel in 2 parts, as can be seen by the indexes at 6 hour and 18 hour.

YEMA Superman 500 GMT watch lume

The bezel’s luminescent marker at 12 o’clock and the luminescent arrow-shaped minute hand provide scuba divers with an accurate indication of dive times in poor visibility conditions at the greatest depths.

YEMA SUPERMAN 500 GMT BATMAN

The luminescent 24-hour scale on the bezel and the luminescent hands facilitates reading of the three time zones in all situations.

YEMA Superman 500 GMT Pepsi

The bottom of the 316L steel case has been modified from 1.5 mm to 2.2 mm thick, the water resistance increased with 50 bars.

The bottom of the box is developed to resist an intensive use containing YEMA’s historic crest, treated with different methods of microblading which allows it to bring depth. The first 200 watches are engraved with a unique number from 001 to 200.

CORUM Bubble X Aiiroh Limited Edition

CORUM has launched a special edition Bubble Watch in collaboration with French street artist Aiiroh.

Known for his love of Pop Art and its reinterpretation, Aiiroh, a street artist for more than 20 years, has had his work exhibited in more than 50 galleries worldwide.

The new 47mm Bubble X Aiiroh watch fuses daring color and bold style. Crafted in stainless steel with black PVD coating, it is inspired by Aiiroh’s famous “Black Série Rose” artwork that uses street posters and headlines in a decoupage-like collage to form the petals of the colorful rose.

CORUM Bubble X Aiiroh Limited Edition

He then superimposes another stylized black rose spiral motif on top of that for added allure. This effect is entirely recreated on the watch dial, almost like a transfer of the original piece of art. It uses two different dial appliques that add dramatic depth and dimension.

CORUM Bubble X Aiiroh Limited Edition

Against a stark black background, the boldly beautiful rose petal collage is almost fluorescent in shades of turquoise, orange, lavender, purple, blue, red, yellow and green.

CORUM Bubble X Aiiroh Limited Edition

Overlaid onto the first layer of the dial is a second black dial swirl made of aluminium that is a stylized rose. The black against the color not only evokes a sense of the rose opening, but also adds amazing contrast and appeal. The half-globe domed sapphire crystal that gives its own somewhat distorted view of the dial.

CORUM Bubble X Aiiroh Limited Edition

The watch is powered by the mechanical automatic caliber CO 082 that offers 42 hours of power reserve. The case back is made of transparent sapphire crystal with an antireflective treatment for viewing of the movement. It is water resistant to 100 meters.

CORUM Bubble X Aiiroh Limited Edition

The Corum Bubble X Aiiroh is a limited edition of just 88 pieces. The watch will be sold with a special artwork realized by Aiiroh and Japanese modern artist Namisen and brought to “life” as a final piece in resin by French visual artist Soyz Bank. All three of these artists are part of the Mind the Gap Label – a community of emerging and established artists.

CORUM Bubble X Aiiroh Limited Edition

The sculptured wall art is an original design inspired by Corum’s watch certificate, complete with the key logo that is immediately recognizable. It is created as a flat painting, semi-folded, and finished in resin.

Konstantin Chaykin JOKER FIVE

Endowed with a new design and a new complication, Joker 5 marks the fifth anniversary of the sensational Konstantin Chaykin Joker watch.

For the new Joker model, Konstantin Chaykin created a skeleton dial similar to the unique Martian Tourbillon Wristmon created for the Only Watch 2021 auction.

Konstantin Chaykin JOKER FIVE

This structure makes the main functional components of the Joker’s indication module visible from the dial side. Incidentally, the master has redesigned this module: the smiling moonphase indicator has been replaced by a new day-of-the week sector indicator: another wide, mischievous grin from ear to ear.

Konstantin Chaykin JOKER FIVE watch

Konstantin Chaykin has been using day-of-the-week indicators in his Wristmons several times. The Joker Selfie, the Minotaur, and the Smilodon possess such a function.

In the Martian Tourbillon watch, the “smile”, which combined the Martian calendar and the day-of-the-week indicator, received the calendar function for the first time. Chaykin chose this version of the dial design for the new Joker 5 model. Thus, the smile of the new Wristmon became a retrograde day-of-the-week indicator.

Konstantin Chaykin JOKER FIVE

The indication of hours and minutes is common for all the timepieces from the Wristmons collection. Thus, it is implemented in the eyes of the new Joker 5 watch. The indicator is a hand with a wide round “pupil” on the end which moves along the rhodium-plated scales. The skeletonized dial offers you the glimpses of the movement’s functional elements and the way it works.

For the new model, Konstantin Chaykin has developed a new type of finishing for the indication module plate. It features two different textures: a fine granular texture with micro-relief, and a dark grey anthracite coating. Their combination has given the surface of the plate its very special look. After the final treatment, it resembles the traditional frosted finish technique.

Konstantin Chaykin JOKER FIVE watch

The movement includes four wheels with figuratively shaped spokes, which each form the symbols of one of the suits – hearts, diamonds, spades and clubs. Two rack levers shaped as a stylised letter “J”.

A bright red smile frames the day-of-the-week indicator. The thin red frame of the day-of-the-week indication hand destroys the symmetry of the Joker’s smile, turning it into a mischievous grin – the new emotion of Chaykin’s Wristmon.

Konstantin Chaykin JOKER FIVE

The sapphire crystal caseback provides the owner with a detailed view of the automatic winding rotor’s finishing. The design of the rotor has been developed specially for this model. Half of the movement remains open and you can see the official Joker emblem engraved on the rotor.

Especially for the Joker 5 watch, Konstantin Chaykin has also designed an exclusive collector’s strap decorated with a bow tie and the Joker 5 color palette: purple, yellow and green.

Konstantin Chaykin JOKER FIVE watch

The strap is made of high-quality leather. Note that a classic black strap with green stitching comes with the watch by default. Collector’s version of the strap is sold separately.

The Konstantin Chaykin Joker 5 watch is issued in a limited edition of 38 pieces.

Greubel Forsey Double Balancier Convexe

This new Greubel Forsey timepiece emphasizes the architectural dimension of the iconic Swiss brand’s 6th invention that is the Double Balancier. The three regulating organs (two balance wheels, one differential) occupy more than half of the dial and provide unprecedented depth.

The Double Balancier Convexe gets its name from the convex profile of its 43.5mm titanium case. This new composition showcases its movement spectacularly. The gear train emerges from below the surface of the seemingly semicircular black-treated titanium bridge and extends into the hour and minute hands which tower above it.

Greubel Forsey Double Balancier Convexe

The semicircle itself is rendered asymmetrical by an opening for the barrel cover, central hours and minutes indication, and by an opening which provides space for the small seconds indication below it. The engraved and lacquered minute indexes are nested within the three-dimensional chapter ring, but the polished hour indexes surpass it, plunging deep into the movement.

Greubel Forsey Double Balancier Convexe

Each hand has its own geometry, finish and color, depending on the role assigned to it. The hour and minute hands take on a curved profile and are filled with Super-Luminova, complementing that of the hour indexes. The small seconds and 4-minute hand indicating the rotational speed of the spherical differential are in polished blued steel while the power reserve is indicated by a polished and open-worked hand with a red tip.

Greubel Forsey Double Balancier Convexe

In the lower half of the Greubel Forsey Double Balancier Convexe, each regulating organ is sculpted individually. The two balance wheels, although identical in shape and function, occupy different planes and thus offer a complementary spectacle.

The center bridge is in itself a showcase of the creative excellence of Greubel Forsey: multi-level, open-worked and black polished with several interior angles; it carries the hour and minute hands above the movement. The inclined escapement platforms are straight-grained with hand- polished beveling and countersinks, while the differential bridge and balance wheel bridges are flat black polished with further hand-polished beveling.

Every single component is hand finished to Greubel Forsey criteria and thus stands out on its own, and at the same time it contributes to the striking overall aesthetic of this timepiece.

Greubel Forsey Double Balancier Convexe

The bridges and mainplate of the Double Balancier Convexe are in frosted and black treated titanium. A new font has been adopted for the power reserve and different elements throughout this timepiece.

The barrel cover features relief-engraved text, circular-grained with polished chamfer, describing the properties of the two coaxial barrels in series with rapid rotation (one revolution in 3.2 hours). The movement offers a 72-hour chronometric power reserve.

Greubel Forsey Double Balancier Convexe

The integrated and profiled lugs reinforce the compact and ergonomic character of this timepiece. They extend onto either a textured rubber strap or titanium bracelet.

The Double Balancier Convexe is water resistant to 100 meters. Only 22 timepieces will be made per year between 2022 and 2024 for a total of 66 pieces overall.

OMEGA Speedmaster X-33 Marstimer

OMEGA presents Speedmaster X-33 Marstimer, a space watch made in partnership with the European Space Agency (ESA). This stylish new Speedmaster is designed to measure every moment on the Earth and the Mars.

The new Marstimer is driven by OMEGA’s 5622 Calibre, a thermo‑compensated quartz movement, which handles the watch’s many digital and analogue functions with speed and efficiency.

OMEGA Speedmaster X-33 Marstimer

The unique 45 mm chronograph has a grade 2 titanium case. Developed to assist scientists, OMEGA’s Marstimer offers a range of valuable tools for those working in the field of space research.

Its functions, developed under an ESA patented license, include an MTC function to track Mars’ sol date and time at the prime meridian, allowing for the fact that a day on Mars is 39 minutes longer than on Earth. It also comes with an innovative solar compass, to find true north on planet Earth and Mars.

OMEGA Speedmaster X-33 Marstimer

Wearers also have access to those applications available on the traditional Speedmaster Skywalker X33, such as MET (Mission Elapsed Time), PET (Phase Elapsed Time), alarms and perpetual calendar.

Its classic black dial provides a contrasting backdrop for the multiple analogue and digital readings, made even clearer by Earth and Mars symbols to distinguish which particular functions are in use.

OMEGA Speedmaster X-33 Marstimer

The oxalic anodized aluminium bezel ring in red hematite colour is reminiscent of Mars’ distinctive dust. This striking shade is also present on the seconds hand, which has a black to red hematite gradient.

OMEGA Speedmaster X-33 Marstimer

The caseback is embossed in the centre with OMEGA’s famous Speedmaster wording and Seahorse logo. The case-back also features the words SPEEDMASTER X-33 MARSTIMER, ESA TESTED AND QUALIFIED.

OMEGA Speedmaster X-33 Marstimer

The OMEGA Speedmaster X-33 Marstimer watch is fitted on a grade 2 and 5 titanium bracelet with fold-over clasp.

The Marstimer also comes with a dedicated NATO strap and strap changing tool. These are included in the special watch roll, which has a nod to the red planet on its inner lining: a reproduction of Hebes Chasma, a unique steep-sided canyon on the surface of the Mars.

OMEGA Speedmaster X-33 Marstimer

The approximate retail price of Omega Speedmaster X-33 Marstimer is $6,400.00.

Bvlgari Aluminium Sorayama Special Edition

Limited to 1,000 pieces, this special edition watch was created in collaboration with legendary Japanese artist Sorayama.

The Bulgari Aluminium Sorayama Special Edition watch is a composition reflecting the imagination and flair for details of the Japanese hyper-realism artist. Mirroring past and future, Sorayama’s work reflects a fascination with the classicism of the 1930s and 1940s, as well as the exciting mechanical advances in the fields of aviation and automobiles.

Bvlgari Aluminium Sorayama Special Edition

The watch opts for the restrained look of galvanised textures and details recalling the aesthetics of 1930s and 1940s cars and planes. On the silver-toned dial with its shimmering pearlescent swirls evoking the light playing across gleaming bodywork, the propeller-shaped hour-markers and hands are enhanced with Super-LumiNova®.

Bvlgari Aluminium Sorayama Special Edition

The only numeral visible is the 2, thereby honouring the artist’s lucky number and representing more than a nod and instead a deliberate reference. This limited-edition model with its aluminium case and rubber bezel has a diameter of 40 mm and is water-resistant to a depth of 100 metres.

Bvlgari Aluminium Sorayama Special Edition

The crown is made of reinforced black titanium. The same goes for the caseback bearing Sorayama’s signature in deep black.

The The Bulgari Aluminium Sorayama Special Edition watch houses a mechanical self-winding movement with a 42-hour power reserve.

Working on the contrast between material and transparency, the visible and the invisible, she designed this Octo Finissimo Sejima Edition to reflect the aesthetic codes running through her work.

The new gold version of the Octo Finissimo Automatic is a distillation of purity and restraint, the two signature features of the Bvlgari Octo Finissimo collection.

Bvlgari Octo Finissimo Automatic Rose Gold, Reference 103637

Whether in rose or yellow gold, the play on contrasts between these gleaming shades and the brown-lacquered dial gives these models a powerful personality. Another contrast seen for the first time in this collection lies in the alternating matt and polished effects on the case and bracelet, heralding a brilliant chapter in the saga of the Finissimo line.

Bvlgari Serpenti Seduttori Black

“Serpenti, or “snake” in Italian, is an infinite source of inspiration for Bulgari. In 2019, the Maison has reimagined one of its legends in a slimmer and equally sensual case, sporting a bracelet with hexagonal scales. The Serpenti has thus been transformed into the Serpenti Seduttori.

The model now appears attired in black. Its case features the distinctive teardrop-shaped watch head, while its supple, second skin-like bracelet gently hugs the wrist.

Bulgari is offering not one but two versions of this refined model with a dial that passes through shadows to arrive at nuances revealing flashes of brilliance.

Bvlgari Serpenti Seduttori Tourbillon White Gold, Diamonds and Black Spinels

The new Bvlgari Serpenti Seduttori Tourbillon watch fuses Haute Joaillerie and Haute Horlogerie.

Snakes have inspired Bulgari since the 1940s. All it takes is a simple teardrop-shaped watch case and a bracelet that wraps around the wrist one or more times to evoke the spirit of Serpenti.

The Serpenti watch collection is constantly undergoing new transformations. Bulgari continues to perpetuate this daring destiny with the Serpenti Seduttori Tourbillon, a high jewellery watch adorned with Spinels and diamonds.

Bvlgari Serpenti Seduttori Tourbillon

Measuring 34 mm diameter, the iconic snake-head case in white gold is entirely set with diamonds, while its bezel sparkles with black spinels.

ULYSSE NARDIN RAINBOW

Swiss luxury watch brand Ulysse Nardin has released two new versions of its LADY DIVER 39mm and BLAST TOURBILLON 45mm timepieces, both inspired by the iridescent rainbow colors of silicium.

In 2001, Ulysse Nardin became the first watchmaker to introduce a timepiece with silicium escapement components. Since then, the brand has incorporated this metalloid into several of its movements, including the BLAST TOURBILLON’s caliber UN-172 and the LADY DIVER’s caliber UN-816.

Inspired by the shimmering colors of this revolutionary material, the bezels of these two new models are adorned with purple, green, blue or pink gem-stones that sparkle in the sunlight for a “rainbow” effect.

ULYSSE NARDIN RAINBOW

The ULYSSE NARDIN BLAST is a revolutionary watch with a 45mm case and skeleton “X” dial with complex and geometric forms.

To soften the look, a total of 50 rubies and sapphire baguette gemstones adorn the bezel and the indexes of the RAINBOW edition of the ULYSSE NARDIN BLAST.

ULYSSE NARDIN BLAST RAINBOW

The BLAST is powered by the UN-172 automatic flying tourbillon movement with Silicium technology (escapement wheel, anchor & balance spring) enclosed in a black DLC titanium case and sealed with a black ceramic polished and sand-blasted upper case. Boasting a micro-rotor in platinum placed at 12 o’clock, the UN-172 calibre offers 72 hours of power reserve.

ULYSSE NARDIN BLAST RAINBOW

Limited to 50 pieces, the ULYSSE NARDIN BLAST RAINBOW watch comes with a waterproof velvet rubber strap or a black alligator strap, together with a black DLC titanium and black ceramic self-deploying buckle. It is water resistant to 50 meters. This timepiece retails at a price of 85’000 CHF.

The new LADY DIVER RAINBOW in black or white is the next generation of the 2019 LADY DIVER but with eye-catching, dazzling decorative touches. Forty stones (ruby, aquamarine, topaz, tsavorite and sapphire) are set on the concave unidirectional bezel of this new watch.

ULYSSE NARDIN LADY DIVER RAINBOW

Eleven diamonds serving as indexes increase the scintillating effect of the watch and bring a touch of elegance to this sublime diving watch. Both young and sportive, this 39mm ULYSSE NARDIN LADY DIVER RAINBOW is water resistant to 300 meters.

The UN-816 automatic movement with Silicium technology is the beating heart of each DIVER watch, keeping track of the hours, minutes, seconds, and date.

ULYSSE NARDIN LADY DIVER RAINBOW

Both white and black LADY DIVER RAINBOW models come in a limited edition of 300 timepieces each on a white or black structured rubber strap, at a price of 12’900 CHF.

Anton Suhanov Racer Jumping Hour GMT

Russian independent watchmaker Anton Suhanov presents his first wristwatch, the Racer Jumping Hour GMT.

Creator of the first Russian triple axis tourbillon table clock, Anton Suhanov is an award winning watch maker. His Racer Jumping Hour GMT watch takes inspiration from the sports car dashboard. Some dashboards come with a tachometer on the left, a speedometer on the right side, and some additional indicators and numbers between them.

Anton Suhanov Racer Jumping Hour GMT

For the Racer Jumping Hour GMT watch, Anton Suhanov developed a unique dial structure featuring two retrograde hour and minute subdials. They are located on the left and right and slightly shifted down – exactly for one position on the hour scale of the dial, while the remaining central part of the dial is given away to other pointers.

The unique layout of the dial also spotlights some features inspired by the legendary “Marie Antoinette” pocket watch. Made by Abraham-Louis Breguet, this historic grand complication watch has two retrograde subdials of date and equation of time.

Anton Suhanov Racer Jumping Hour GMT watch

For the Racer Jumping Hour GMT watch, Anton Suhanov built a caliber with the indications based on the function of the retrograde indication of minutes.

At the beginning of a new hour, the minute hand jumps from the 60-minute to the zero position. This swift movement performs two actions: it switches the retrograde hour hand forward one hour, and then the hand remains motionless for an hour. This is exactly how behaves the hour hand of the “Marie Antoinette” watch.

Anton Suhanov Racer Jumping Hour GMT

And at the same moment the 24-hour digital second timezone indicator of Racer Jumping Hour GMT, installed in the window at 12 o’clock position, goes one hour ahead.

In the center of the dial, there is an unusual second’s indicator on a dynamic 20-second arc-shaped scale. If you take off the watch dial, it turns out that the seconds are indicated by a three-rayed second hand, similar to the one that was installed on the tourbillon axis of the foundation Black Clock. At the bottom of the dial, there is a date window.

Anton Suhanov Racer Jumping Hour GMT

The watch is equipped with the Su100.20 self-winding movement based on the ETA 2824-2 calibre. This horological engine also powers the innovative indication module developed by Anton Suhanov. The movement has a power reserve of 38 hours.

The indication module of the Racer Jumping Hour GMT is very complex. Comprised of 172 parts, it is comparable to classic horological complications as a perpetual calendar or minute repeater.

Anton Suhanov Racer Jumping Hour GMT

The watchmaker treated every detail of the movement and module with utmost care, using traditional techniques, including manual polishing of chamfers, engraving, polishing of recesses for screws, pins, and stones, spherical polishing of the shafts of the wheels and pins, perlage, fine straight, and circular grinding, sand-blasting, rhodium plating. The dial is finished using the anodizing, ruthenium coating, and guilloche.

The Anton Suhanov Racer Jumping Hour GMT watch has a 39mm diameter case made of stainless steel.

Anton Suhanov Racer Jumping Hour GMT

The unique design of the case is based on the principle of the regular Reuleaux polygon. This shape can be briefly described as a square with rounded sides. This shape hints at the aerodynamics, streamlined lines found in high-speed cars.

The other highlights of Racer Jumping Hour GMT include double screws for fixing the bezel, paired screws for the pads of the axes of the retrograde hands, plates with inscriptions and a scale of seconds, the double knurling on the crown and the whimsical shape of the conical holder of the button for switching second timezone indicator.

The watch is worn on a black leather strap with red contrast stitching. The Racer Jumping Hour GMT by Anton Suhanov is limited to 20 pieces.

ZENITH DEFY Extreme E Copper X Prix Limited Edition

The next race of the 2022 Extreme E championship is scheduled on 24 & 25 September at the Atacama Desert, one of the world’s leading copper mining areas.

Commemorating this race, the ZENITH DEFY Extreme E Copper X Prix watch combines carbon fibre and titanium with earthy tones inspired by the copper mines of the Atacama region, while incorporating recycled and upcycled elements from the championship.

Based on the ZENITH DEFY Extreme Carbon, the world’s lightest and most robust 1/100th of a second automatic high-frequency chronograph, the new watch incorporates upcycled elements from the championship with the back-to-back races’ official colour of warm coppery-brown.

ZENITH DEFY Extreme E Copper X Prix Limited Edition

The DEFY Extreme E “Copper X Prix” edition is crafted in lightweight yet highly durable carbon fibre, including the crown and chronograph pushers. Emphasizing the boldly angular geometry of the case, the pusher protectors as well as the twelve-sided bezel are made in microblasted titanium.

The open multi-layered dial consists of tinted sapphire crystal elements, embellished with coppery-brown accents that evoke the dry, rocky terrain and copper mines of the Chilean desert.

ZENITH DEFY Extreme E Copper X Prix Limited Edition

Partially visible through the dial as well as the sapphire case back is the fastest automatic high-frequency chronograph calibre in production, offering1/100th of a second time measurements, with two escapements independently beating at 5Hz (36’000 VpH) for the timekeeping part and 50Hz (360’000 VpH) for the chronograph function. The movement is also visible through the sapphire display back, emblazoned with the Copper X Prix logo.

Bringing sustainability and environmental awareness to the forefront of ZENITH and Extreme E’s partnership, the DEFY Extreme E “Copper X Prix” is delivered with a rubber strap infused with materials of upcycled Continental Cross Contact tires that were used in the first season’s races.

ZENITH DEFY Extreme E Copper X Prix Limited Edition

Matching the Copper X Prix copper-brown accents on the dial, the Velcro strap features a black rubber central element surrounded by a brown cordura-effect rubber inlay.

The ZENITH DEFY Extreme E “Copper X Prix” is delivered with two additional straps in black rubber and black Velcro, which can be easily swapped without any tools by using the case back’s ingenious and intuitive quick strap-change mechanism.

The DEFY Extreme E “Copper X Prix” comes packaged in a suitably sturdy waterproof and crushproof watch case inspired by the extreme conditions of the rally, incorporating various upcycled elements from the side-lines of the first season’s races. The case’s lid coating is made from E-grip recycled tires, while the plate covering is made from parts of an Extreme E racing tarpaulin.

RESERVOIR Sonomaster Chronograph

The new Reservoir Sonomaster Chronograph takes its inspiration from measuring instruments widely used in the world of sound or Hi-Fi.

Its two retrograde hands faithfully reproduce the hands of VU meters usually employed in high-end analog stereo amplifiers. In addition to two bi-retrograde hands (date and seconds at 120°), Sonomaster features central seconds, 30-minute counter at 12 o’clock, 12-hour counter at 6 o’clock.

Reservoir Sonomaster Chronograph

VU (Volume Unit) meter was developed in the 1940s to measure all manner of electronic signals, including the sounds going into a mixing desk or tape deck in a recording studio, the strength of a radio broadcast signal, the power output of an amplifier or the sound pressure levels in the listening space (also referred to as “volume” or “loudness”).

The action of a VU meter’s needle is the same as a retrograde hand in a watch: the needles do not ascribe a 360 circle, as do conventional watch hands, but swing back-and-forth.

Reservoir Sonomaster Chronograph

Various hi-fi manufacturers have personalised their VU meters to render their equipment instantly recognisable, with veteran brand Luxman opting for a golden glow, EAR Yoshino using kidney-shaped apertures over their meters, D’Agostino’s massive round meter features a Breguet-style hand, while McIntosh is world-famous for its blue-lit VU meters.

In addition to real-time hours, minutes and seconds, the Sonomaster Chronograph features a central sweep seconds hand for the stopwatch function, a 30-minute counter at 12 o’clock, a 12-hour counter at 6 o’clock, and the date. A window for the latter would add clutter, while the desire for symmetry, which is missing in chronographs with sub-dials at 6, 9 and 12 o’clock and a date window at 3 o’clock, remained paramount.

Reservoir Sonomaster Chronograph

The 43mm diameter 316L stainless steel case comes with brushed finish. The crown is inspired by amplifier control button, and push buttons take inspiration from bass and treble buttons. The hands are treated with Superluminova.

RESERVOIR has carefully cultivated a unique, family look for its retrograde models. All employ retrograde minute hands completing an arc from what would be, on a convention al dial, 8 o’clock to 4 o’clock.

The visual balance is assured by the hour appearing in a window above the 6 o’clock position, while below it is a retrograde power reserve. Despite the need to deal with more functions, the Sonomaster Chronograph could not depart from the established RESERVOIR design language.

Reservoir Sonomaster Chronograph

With the hours and minutes of the Sonomaster Chronograph addressed by conventional hands, and with the 30-minute and 12-hour counters using traditional sub-dials, it was noted that there was ample “real estate” on either side of the divide. Two half-moon-shaped areas were free to accept the date and real-time seconds, creating what RESERVOIR has called a “Bi-Retrograde” display.

For maximum readability and to create a fresh aesthetic in a horological context, RESERVOIR looked beyond the confines of the watch and automotive industries, the latter a much-favoured source of inspiration in horological circles.

Instead, they found the solution on the front panel of the iconic vintage hi-fi amplifier, such as the legendary Luxman M10 Mk II power amplifier. This high-end audio equipment features two massive VU meters, with black needles against cream dials, accented with red segments to indicate the “danger zones”. Thinking laterally, RESERVOIR turned the dials on their sides, to be read vertically.

Reservoir Sonomaster Chronograph

The dial on the left provided retrograde seconds, its scale marked 0-30, with the needle – or hand in this case – flying back every half-minute. The dial on the right was chosen for the date display, its indications marked 0-31, with a retrograde fly-back return at the end of the month. Both counters feature red segments to respect their muse, though there is no danger present.

The same background colour scheme employed by Luxman was retained as well for the Sonomaster Chronograph, the cream providing vivid contrast against the fine black scale. Both retrograde counters are sunken into the main dial, the added depth this creates further recalling the physical presence of VU meters set within an amplifier’s front panel.

Reservoir Sonomaster Chronograph

The new RESERVOIR Sonomaster chronograph is sportier than the range’s precursor model, with a case and a bracelet made entirely of brushed 316L steel.

This 43mm stainless steel watch is powered by the new RSV-Bi120 watchmaking caliber: a bi-retrograde manufacture chronograph movement with automatic mechanical winding, and column wheel (base LJP-L1C0).

The open case-back reveals the automatic column wheel chronograph movement with a generous 60-hour power reserve.

The Reservoir Sonomaster Chronograph is available with two dial styles: Silver with Black and Black with Beige.

HAUTLENCE Vagabonde Series 4

Swiss luxury watch brand HAUTLENCE has released a new version of its iconic wandering hour wristwatch.

Founded in 2004, HAUTLENCE is known for creating new ways of reading the time. The Vagabonde Series 4 is firmly in line with this philosophy. The sapphire minute dial adds volume to the rhodium-plated brass base dial, which features a frosted finish. Inside this disc, the hours rotate around the central staff, turning on their own axis to mark the passing hours.

HAUTLENCE Vagabonde Series 4

The finishes of this new timepiece are in line with the very exacting standards of the Neuchâtel born haute-horlogerie brand. Considerable technical skill and precision are required to create the sapphire minutes disc, as well as the half-moon motifs that decorate the hours.

HAUTLENCE Vagabonde Series 4

Driving the rotation of the discs, the B30 bidirectional self-winding movement guarantees a minimum power reserve of three days. This calibre is based on a manufacture movement designed in collaboration with H. Moser & Cie., which HAUTLENCE developed in a modular way to create this stunning piece.

HAUTLENCE Vagabonde Series 4

The steel case on the Vagabonde series 4 model adopts the TV screen shape favoured by HAUTLENCE. The reworked version features bolder curves and is water resistant to 10 ATM.

HAUTLENCE Vagabonde Series 4

Retaining its balanced proportions, it is equipped with a bevelled sapphire crystal and a fluted crown with a rubber ring in the same colour as the integrated strap.

Mühle-Glashütte S.A.R. Mission-Timer TITAN

The Mühle-Glashütte S.A.R. Rescue-Timer supports the foreman of the Maritime Search and Rescue Service (DGzRS) for more than 20 years. To mark its anniversary, the German watch brand is expanding its S.A.R. family with a new model: the S.A.R. Mission-Timer TITAN.

The new Mühle watch not only features a sporty and functional design, but also has a completely redesigned housing. This has a diameter of 43 millimeters and like the S.A.R. Rescue-Timer the rounded, closed lugs.

The case of the S.A.R. Mission-Timer TITAN is made of particularly light and biocompatible titanium. With its screw-down crown, it can withstand water pressure of up to 50 bar, putting it somewhere between the Sea-Timer BlackMotion and S.A.R. Rescue-Timer on.

Mühle-Glashütte S.A.R. Mission-Timer TITAN

The case back is provided with a finely detailed engraving, which shows the coastline of Germany and the operational area of the sea rescuers on the North and Baltic Seas. On the other hand, the locations of the sea rescue headquarter in Bremen and the Mühle Glashütte manufactory in the eastern Ore Mountains are indicated in the engraving.

The case back also makes the difference when it comes to the regular collection watch and the special series of 63 unique pieces to launch the new S.A.R. Mission-Timer TITAN.

Because every case back of this limited edition is engraved with the name and silhouette of one of the 63 sea rescue cruisers or boats of the current rescue fleet of the DGzRS – and therefore is an absolutely unique piece.

Mühle-Glashütte S.A.R. Mission-Timer TITAN

In addition, the 63 unique S.A.R. Mission-Timer TITAN are presented in a special watch case created in partnership with the family business Koehler Paper and the communications agency Lehanka. This packaging was made from a very high-quality and sustainable watch packaging of recycled paper.

The top of the S.A.R. Mission-Timer TITAN is crowned by a scratch-resistant black ceramic bezel. It encloses a 3 millimetre thick, anti-reflective sapphire crystal, which allows an unclouded view of the extremely readable dial at all times.

In the new Mühle watch, this has a finely subdivided minute track, with which the time can be read with an accuracy of up to an eighth of a second. The dial continues to show that it belongs to the S.A.R. family with its distinctive triangles at 3, 6, 9 and 12 o’clock and the wide indices with minute numerals.

Mühle-Glashütte S.A.R. Mission-Timer TITAN

These are not simply covered with luminous material, but are manufactured with the help of recessed cut-outs that can accommodate an extremely large amount of luminous material. In this way, they ensure superb readability at night and in the dark.

Finally, there is the large date of the S.A.R. Mission-Timer TITAN. In the new S.A.R. model, it is around 30 percent larger than in comparable watches, making it easy to read the date without a magnifying glass.

Mühle-Glashütte S.A.R. Mission-Timer TITAN

In addition to the large date, it is equipped with the efficient Mühle rotor and the particularly shock-resistant woodpecker neck fine adjustment. In this way, the automatic movement is regulated in six positions and adjusted in such a way that its rate values are between 0 and +8 seconds/day.

Thomas Mercer Crystal Chronometer

Thomas Mercer presents the Crystal, a brand new marine chronometer paying tribute to the 1980’s eponymous model.

Its distinctive case features a rhomboidal-shaped mechanism floating inside a glass tube.

The original timepiece stood for its ground-breaking, horizontally laid out, eight-day movement mounted within a cylindrical glass revolving case on a rectangular plinth. The dial was partially skeletonised, boasting a silvered Roman chapter ring and eccentric subsidiary dials for seconds and power reserve indicator.

Thomas Mercer Crystal Chronometer

Faithful to its motto “Respecting the past, reinventing the future”, Thomas Mercer now evolves the Crystal by introducing a set of innovative features.

The gold-plated brass frame gives way to elegant stone elements made of orange onyx. This rare variety hails from Mexico and stands for a low level of inclusions, making it almost pure and organic to the sight.

The choice of onyx is also extended to the dial, conferring a refined look whilst maintaining its original sheerness. Such exclusive touch is enriched with elegant applique numbers and counters.
