The open-worked Tourbillon movement heights the depth effect created by the gear wheels and the pure mechanics of the movement, already dictated by the absence of a dial. The finely sandblasted surfaces, bevelled and diamond-polished hands, black gold-treated bridges are exactly the kind of finishes that forge the character of MRC timepieces.
Finally, the Tourbillon placed at 6 o’clock and marking off the seconds dominates the front, while the three-arm “octopus spring” operating the pull-out piece, click and lever governs the movement visible through the caseback.

Famous watch designer Rodolphe Cattin made a comeback in December last year by establishing a new watch brand Manufacture Rodolphe Cattin in co-operation with Thomas Meyer.
In January 2011, in a highly original location in Versoix, Geneva, Manufacture Rodolphe Cattin presented over 40 models from its new Exclusively Feminine and Unequivocally Masculine watch collections.
The Adore Tutti Frutti is a ladies’ watch with a unique design. Totally distinctive. 4 little balls welcome with elegance an alligator strap. The soft curved sapphire glass enhances the pure mother-of-pearl dial displaying two time zones animated by a Small quartz complication movement.

Manufacture Rodolphe Cattin (MRC) is a new Luxury watch brand conceived and co-founded by Rodolphe Cattin & Thomas Meyer (former director of the Aquanautic brand) in 2010.
Rodolphe Cattin was the founder of Swiss luxury watch brand RODOLPHE, which now belongs to Franck Muller Watchland SA.
Alumni of School of Applied Arts in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Rodolphe had been working as a designer with various companies before setting up his own design studio in 1989. His notable designs for Longines are Golden Wings, Rodolphe by Longines, Francillon, Grande Classique and Conquest. In 1995, he introduced RODOLPHE BY RODOLPHE, the first fully independent watch collection.
In the same time, he continued designing for major watch brands. His important works included Universal Genève Golden Janus Cabriolet (1994), Breil Kult – 2003, Movado Rondino (2005) and Esprit Houston funky (2005). In 1998, a wristwatch designed by Rodolphe for Bovet won the L’Hebdo award for “Watch of the Year”.
In 1999, the Rodolphe Montres Et Bijoux Company was incorporated for producing luxury wristwatches and jewellery creations under RODOLPHE brand. In 2003, the Viper by Rodolphe watch was introduced.
In 2005, Rodolphe signed a partnership with Franck Muller Watchland SA. In 2006, Rodolphe Instinct 180° won the Watch of the Year award. In 2009, the partnership between Rodolphe Montres Et Bijoux and Franck Muller Watchland SA was terminated.

With the official launching of the Manufacture Rodolphe Cattin (MRC), famed watch designer Rodolphe Cattin made his return to the watch scene by creating some original collections of both ladies’ and men’s models guaranteed to live up to consumers’ expectations. Conceived and co-founded with Thomas Meyer, Rodolphe Cattin Manufacture brings together these two contemporary watchmaking talents with their avant-garde vision and spirit.
Rodolphe Cattin is bringing all his experience and creativity with the Manufacture Rodolphe Cattin, a brand that intends to live up to its image: dynamic, mature, rebellious and revolutionary. The primary goal for this accomplished artist, who defines himself as a designer, is to establish a synergy between the various contemporary watchmaking players who encouraged him to take up this new challenge with Thomas Meyer.
Rodolphe Cattin comes from Porrentruy and has never forgotten his roots. The development of his timepieces will also be influenced by his return to the cities of Neuchâtel and La Chaux-de-Fonds, whose watchmaking tradition he carries within him like a tribute to the region’s centuries-old know-how.
While the manufacture is firmly rooted in the Jura, its founder draws his inspiration from the best of contemporary design in places like Paris, New York, Milan and Barcelona. Shaped by these various influences, his models promise to be so aesthetically unique that they will be transformed into pure emotion, above and beyond the high-calibre mechanisms they house.
Featuring pink gold finishings combined with alligator, satin and rubies, the Rodolphe Cattin Manufacture range is available in two versions: exclusively feminine and infinitely masculine. For the ladies, the Utopia and Adore collections are refined but restrained combinations of glamour, mother-of-pearl and diamonds. The small diamond-studded balls replacing the traditional horns add a sublimely feminine touch.
For the men, the virile lines of the exceptional and unique Witness collection conceal a wide choice of movements: dual time zone, mono push-piece chronograph and original tourbillons. What makes this twofold approach so unusual is that it attaches more importance to the ladies’ than to the men’s collections (60/40).
Thomas Meyer and Rodolphe Cattin carefully studied the new market trends before striving to reflect them in their creations. The result is a sublime symbiosis of a love for design and haute horlogerie in its most divine expression, 100% Made by Rodolphe Cattin.
