JEANRICHARD Terrascope Chrono Carbon Limited Edition

Swiss luxury watch manufacturer JEANRICHARD reunites two of the strongest elements from the watchmaking and the material world in one timepiece, creating the Terrascope Chrono Carbon watch, limited to 200 pieces.

The all-black limited edition model represents accuracy paired with high-tech manufacturing, making it the perfect timepiece for chronograph and carbon aficionados, while paying further tribute to the bondage between the element of earth and JEANRICHARD with its iconic Terrascope collection. The Terrascope Chrono Carbon timepiece represents a recognizable and sharp masculine look, which consists of a multi-layer carbon-fiber case made out of unidirectional carbon fibers, known for being double as strong and resistant to compelling forces. In addition, the timepiece comes with two pusher bumpers in carbon fiber composite to set the Chronograph function.

The bezel is also made out of unidirectional carbon fiber and is accentuated with applied rhodium-coated indexes and a red-marked seconds hand – this gives the watch a slick and smooth style, in combination with the cushion-shaped case. A black “Rubbergator” strap complements the elegant and tone-in-tone look and features a black titanium-folding buckle. The “engine” of this remarkable chronograph timepiece comes in the form of a self-winding JR66 movement and is revealed through the screwed-down sapphire crystal case back.

The Terrascope Chrono Carbon watch, limited to 200 pieces and water-resistant to 100 meters, embodies lightness, practicality and innovation, made to ensure highest reliability and created in one of Switzerland’s most renowned watch manufactures.

JEANRICHARD Terrascope GMT

A new addition to the Terrascope family of Swiss made watches by JEANRICHARD, the Terrascope GMT, made for the sophisticated globetrotter of today, indicates the local time and is equipped with a GMT complication, allowing the owner to keep track of time in two time zones at a single glance.

The Terrascope GMT will be available in three-color dial versions, blue, grey and classical black and features a polished and vertically satin finished stainless steel case. While the black and blue dial versions come with rhodium-coated suspended indexes, the grey version has black nickel suspended indexes. The GMT clock-hand is smaller in size and has a black frame, giving it a clear distinction to the ones showing the local time zone.

The high-precision timepiece is adjusted to be on the wrist of a Philosopher of Life who is constantly on the go and appreciates the comfort and subtlety of a well-fitted watch. In addition and to withstand any conditions on the road, the GMT Terrascope comes with a “Rubbergator“ strap in alligator appearance in either black, blue or brown and has a stainless steel folding buckle as a finishing touch.

The essential feature of this timepiece remains the self-winding JR62 mechanical movement, which lies at the heart of this watch and is viewable through a sapphire-crystal glass at the back of the watch.

JEANRICHARD Terrascope New 44 mm Stainless Steel Model with Blue Textured Dial

After launching a 39 mm edition just at the beginning of 2015, the Swiss luxury watch manufacturer JEANRICHARD presents a 44 mm blue model from its Terrascope family.

The new blue Terrascope dial animation is a watch that comprises an innovation never seen before at JEANRICHARD – a three-dimensional look to this animated textured dial. The dial has been processed in a special technique – the engraved surface is obtained via a unique manufacturing process whereby a desired shape arises using electrical sparks. The material of the dial is lacquered brass.

In combination with the blue Terrascope in 39 mm and now also newly in 44 mm, these two versatile models are an impeccable pair. Shaped in the signature modern Terrascope silhouette, these watches feature a polished and vertically satin-finished stainless steel case and are equipped with a blue dial with rhodium-coated suspended indexes and a seconds index in red. The larger model comes with a blue rubber strap that has thin striated bands and the signature JR logo – the 39 mm model is available with a double-sided reversible rubber strap featuring on one side the signature JEANRICHARD look and on the other side the “Rubbergator”. This new timepiece alternatively also comes with an ostrich strap and has like all models, a folding buckle providing extra comfort.

The remaining features of the Terrascope are an icon: The everlasting signature design has an immaculately finished JR60 movement that is self-wound and on the 39 mm model also a sapphire-crystal case back that allows the observation of the inner details and craftsmanship.

JEANRICHARD Bronze Terrascope

Right at a first glance, the two bronze JEANRICHARD Terrascopes in 44 and 39 mm embody the quintessence of watchmaking, imbued with a sense of authenticity, elegance and grace – in any size, for any wrist and for males or females alike. The newest addition to the recently presented Terrascope 44 mm model is the 39 mm interpretation of the bronze dial Terrascope with a set bezel – an everyday watch with stunningly beautiful details that turn it into an elegant and utterly female timepiece.

The iconic JEANRICHARD Terrascope family has recently been extended by the 39 mm diameter timepieces, with the perfect dimensions to dress any wrists. This new model goes one step further by boasting a diamond-set bezel and a polished and vertically satin-finished stainless steel case particularly targeting the female audience. The growing affinity and interest of women in incorporating a timepiece into their lifestyle inspired JEANRICHARD to create this Terrascope 39 mm watch.

The unconventionality of the Terrascope paired with the discreet elegance give the bronze 39 mm timepiece a certain distinction and timeless touch. Whereas the cushion-shaped case and ostrich strap give the Terrascope the optical strength, the refined bronze tone that can be found on the dial and the shimmering brilliant-cut diamonds fortify the magnificence of this timepiece. The brushed dial, protected by an antireflective sapphire crystal case, creates a subtle contrast that enhances the shine of the diamonds, giving this watch an even higher intensity and elegance.

The core of the bronze watches remains the self-winding JR60 movement and the mechanical caliber that can be admired through a sapphire-crystal case back in the new 39 mm version. The ostrich strap is equipped with a stainless steel folding buckle and ensures comfort.

In 2015, JEANRICHARD announces two new “blue” Terrascope 39 mm models. The casual daytime version features a steel case, blue ostrich strap and raw textured dial. Additionally, the Swiss Luxury Watch Manufacturer presents a more subtle and elegant version with a matt white dial, enhanced with blue suspended indexes, a set bezel with 54 diamonds and a steel bracelet. Both new models come in a contemporary and fashionable blue style, enhanced by the refined contrast between “vertically satin” and polished finishes.

JEANRICHARD has adapted its iconic model for 2015 to a second 39 mm diameter with subtly reviewed proportions: perfect dimensions to dress any wrist, while keeping the strong presence and assertive character of this watch alive. The Terrascope 39 mm keeps the same highly original case with cushion-shape middle and round bezel while reinterpreting it to take advantage of new experiences across the globe. Its ingenious modular concept with sophisticated construction in several parts, allows materials and finishes of the different elements to be varied, giving each model a different personality – and thus meeting the tastes of everyday life’s adventures.

For the 2015 Pre-Baselworld selection, JEANRICHARD is introducing these two Terrascope timepieces in the brand new size. The two stylish timepieces in different shades of blue suit any wrist and adventure perfectly.

Terrascope is equipped with a high precise self-winding mechanical movement reflecting the ultimate Swiss excellence. A new feature of these innovative JEANRICHARD models is also the see-through case-back now implemented for this whole collection. Made of sapphire glass, the back of the watch gives insight on the black oscillating weight of the self-winding mechanical movement.

With its unique design and style that is both sporty and refined, the JEANRICHARD Terrascope has emerged as a new watchmaking icon. Perfect dimensions to dress any wrist, while keeping the strong presence and assertive character of this watch alive. The Terrascope 39 mm keeps the same highly original case with a cushion-shaped middle part and the round bezel, while reinterpreting it to experience new dimensions.

Its ingenious modular concept with sophisticated construction in several parts, allows materials and finishes of the different elements to be varied, giving each model a different personality – and thus meeting the tastes of all everyday life’s adventurers – this especially feminine ones, too.

A new feature of these innovative JEANRICHARD models is also the see-through case-back now implemented for this whole collection. Made of sapphire glass, the back of the watch gives insight on the black oscillating weight of the self-winding mechanical movement.

With its new 39 mm diameter, the Terrascope, more than ever, embodies the whole JEANRICHARD Philosophy of Life with a thirst for adventure and exploration, making each day a new journey. This is illustrated by the new 39 mm version of the collection’s iconic model, with a steel case, black dial and a black rubber strap.

Dedicated to men and women alike, this new strong companion displays a contemporary, understated and original style, enhanced by the refined contrast between a “vertically satin-finishing” (on the flat parts of the middle case and lateral bars) and a polished finishing (on the bevels).

The vertically satin-finished black dial is decorated with suspended indexes. The contrasting shaped hour/minute hands offer excellent readability, enhanced by luminescent touches and a second hand with a red tip. The double sided and reversible strap with its folding clasp, features either a ribbed rubber part or the “Rubbergator” when turned around and combines both sporty and elegant styles while feeling very comfortable on the wrist.

The launch of the Terrascope 39 mm is also an opportunity for JEANRICHARD to play with different modular case possibilities by offering new models with exclusively feminine designs.

These watches combine sportiness and elegance to make these new feminine timepieces both, a jewellery item and companions of every day adventures who share every moment of active living.

JEANRICHARD Terrascope Chrono Carbon Arsenal Limited Edition

The Swiss Luxury Watch Manufacturer JEANRICHARD has created a limited edition black carbon fiber Terrascope Chronograph in association with the legendary soccer club Arsenal.

This timepiece, which was revealed beginning of November by Arsenal Legend Ian Wright at the renowned Salon QP London watch and jewellery exhibition, comes in a special “team”: It is packaged with a wall-clock and takes the JEANRICHARD Philosophy of Life straight from the wrist into the living rooms of any Arsenal and watch fan.

The all black Terrascope catches the eye with its multi-layer black carbon fiber case and the black carbon fiber bezel. This new method of spinning the fiber makes the timepiece even more resistant. A hint of Arsenal red features on the dial and accentuates the Football Club’s Canon Emblem – also in full black – on the small second spot.

The sporty-elegant look is completed by the black “Rubbergator“strap in alligator appearance and the titanium folding buckle. At the heart of this timepiece beats a mechanical automatic chronograph movement.

This new limited edition “Terrascope Chrono Carbon Arsenal” comes as a “team” package only and is from now on available in a stylish brown box. It is accompanied by a 30 cm JEANRICHARD wall-clock and a certificate of authenticity signed by three different Arsenal players each time. JEANRICHARD Terrascope “Special Nik Wallenda Edition”

On 2 November 2014, Nik Wallenda, the “King of the Highwire”, now 9-time World Record holder and JEANRICHARD ambassador, crossed the skyline of the windy city of Chicago for Discovery’s Skyscraper Live with Nik Wallenda. The Chicago riverfront was filled with over 65 000 excited spectators and press from all over the world, who followed Wallenda’s every step on the tightrope.

During the 8 minutes and 09 seconds adventure, Wallenda was accompanied by his newly revealed JEANRICHARD Terrascope special edition timepiece featuring a bezel that was inspired by the cross-section of his wire.

The walk took Nik Wallenda across the Chicago River on an inch (approx. 2.5cm/size of a US quarter coin) wide steel cable, starting at a height of 588 feet (about 180 meters) from the Marina City West tower, when he went upward at a 19-degree angle, rising 83 feet (about 25 meters) to the Leo Burnett Building and setting the first World Record for the steepest tightrope walk in 6 minutes and 52 seconds in winds that were gusting at up to 25mph (about 40 km/h).

Wallenda’s second part of the walk was from the Marina City west tower to the east one at a height of 543 feet (about 165 meters), while he was blindfolded. That set the second World Record for the highest blindfolded walk. It took Wallenda 1 minute and 17 seconds to cross these 94 feet (about 29 meters).

“The King of the Highwire” accomplished the entire walk in an impressive 8 minutes and 09 seconds, without being secured by a safety net or a harness. There is no doubt that this crossing will mark history, equally to Wallenda’s walk over the Grand Canyon last year, being his second one wearing a JEANRICHARD Terrascope timepiece on his wrist.

The design of the timepiece is integrally inspired by Nik Wallenda’s walks. The vertically satin-finished steel case features a bezel, whose main pattern reflects the cross section of the wire, while Nik Wallenda’s logo is illustrating the artist walking on the grey brushed dial. Inspired by Nik Wallenda’s true strength and will power, this Terrascope also features an engraved “Special Nik Wallenda Edition” case back, and offers a black rubber strap that goes hand in hand with the steel case and provides maximum comfort on the wrist.

The number of the very special Terrascope edition is limited to eight pieces only, playing tribute to the Asian culture. The frame of the automatic timepiece consists of a blue eloxed aluminium middle-case, bezel and laterals inserts, which provide the solid foundation of this limited edition. It is held in a polished and vertically satin-finished aluminium case. The black crown as well as the case back are made of lightweight titanium. The timepiece features a special “CDC-SIWILAI” engraving with the symbols of the concept store as well as of the CDC on the back.

The blue dial is embellished with an artistic three-dimensional camouflage print that complements the eclectic blue of the whole watch. The hands come in blue steel with red luminescent material, while the JEANRICHARD logo and “Terrascope” lettering are held in classic white.

Additionally, the timepiece features the brand new “Rubbergator” strap – a revolution among the bracelets, made of 100% water resistant rubber that has the same look and the feel of an alligator skin down to the smallest details.

JEANRICHARD Aquascope Rubbergator

For this summer season, Swiss watch maker JEANRICHARD introduces a stylish Aquascope dive watch with an innovative and vibrant Rubbergator wristband by combining the style and elegance of an alligator-skin strap with the water-resistance of a strap made out of rubber.

JEANRICHARD, in association with Mestel, HEPIA (Geneva University of applied sciences – technology, architecture and landscape) and Agie Charmilles (part of Georg Fischer Machining Solutions) has created a brand new type of strap that epitomises its whole Philosophy of Life. Made out of 100% rubber, this newly developed strap technology reproduces the actual surface of alligator skin down to the smallest details, while offering absolute water-proofness as well as resistance against any other external influences and strength of the sportiest watch-straps on the market.

Coming in blue, black, brown or white, this new alligator skin-style rubber watch strap is a perfect summer partner for the Aquascope model, your faithful companion for all your adventures both on and in the water. Particularly alluring in its “star” version, destined to attract all eyes on the beaches this year with its steel case, blue anodised-aluminium bezel, automatic movement and water-resistance at 300 m, it can of course just as gracefully equip any other model in the JEANRICHARD range. JEANRICHARD becomes Global Partner as well as “Official Watch” of Arsenal FC

The Swiss watchmaker JEANRICHARD has announced as the Global Partner as well as “Official Watch” of the emblematic London football club Arsenal FC of the English Premier League. This long-term partnership marks a major step forward for the newest oldest Swiss watch brand that is now going to play in the “Premier League” and for Arsenal that has a very strong global following.

Football, just like watchmaking, is a Philosophy of Life. Team spirit, dedication and passion are common values; joining fans, players, collectors, watchmakers and everyone involved in the history and pioneering spirit of both JEANRICHARD and Arsenal on one common ground. It was therefore a natural decision that both organisations now embark on a new journey together.

What started off in 1886 in Woolwich when a group of factory workers got together to build the “Arsenal”, has gone on to form one of the most successful football teams in English and European history.

Now, over 125 years later, the “Gunners” are not only known for their numerous achievements or their heritage. Arsène Wenger’s philosophy to find the best young talent and develop them into the stars of tomorrow is known the world over. Just as Arsenal is known to recruit and develop young talents, Daniel Jeanrichard, founder of the watch industry in the late seventeenth century, embarked on a journey to educate the next generation, promoting values nurturing his Philosophy of Life – passion for hard work, authenticity, fair play, team spirit, and loyalty amongst each other. Jeanrichard was careful to hand down the knowledge and the spirit of excellence to future generations, and played an important role in setting up an apprenticeship system that is active to this day.

JEANRICHARD has been one of the first luxury watchmakers to support football on an international level starting with its Italian venture in 2003. As a Global Partner as well as “Official Watch” of Arsenal, it will now support the Gunners on the impressive home-turf of Emirates Stadium and on the road.  Alongside significant presence within the stadium on match days, the Swiss watchmaker will unveil a limited edition “Arsenal” watch in the near future, to drive the success of this partnership on all levels.

JEANRICHARD
JEANRICHARD watches have been conceived for all those who enjoy challenges, revel in the unknown, and would like to live their lives to the fullest, savouring the best of each moment. These are the everyday adventurers, who enjoy authenticity and will make no compromises, be that on quality or on design. These are independent spirits who scorn conventions and play by their own rules, travelling off the beaten paths.

The art of life JEANRICHARD timepieces come in four different collections that each pay tribute to the elements of our universe: Terrascope, Aquascope, Aeroscope and 1681. Earth, water, air, plus the fire of passion that has inspired our brand for over three centuries and has excited sophisticated globetrotters every day anew.

JEANRICHARD is part of the Kering Group, a world leader in apparel and accessories which develops an ensemble of powerful Luxury and Sport & Lifestyle brands.

ARSENAL FOOTBALL CLUB
Arsenal is one of the leading clubs in world football with a strong heritage of success, progressive thinking and financial stability. Arsenal Football Club was founded in 1886 in Woolwich, south London, before moving to Highbury in north London in 1913. Arsenal has an impressive roll of honour: English League Champions 13 times, FA Cup winners 10 times, League Cup winners twice and European Cup Winners’ Cup (1994) and European Fairs Cup (1970) winners once. In addition, Arsenal Ladies are the most successful English club in women’s football. Arsenal’s Manager since 1996 has been Frenchman Arsène Wenger. Wenger is Arsenal Football Club’s most successful manager. His honours include three League titles, four FA Cups and four Charity/Community Shields, including two League and Cup ‘doubles’ in 1998 and 2002.

JEANRICHARD Nocturnal Adventurers Collection: 1681 with black DLC case, Terrascope with black DLC case & Terrascope bi-colour with black dial

Swiss luxury watchmaker JEANRICHARD introduces three new versions of its 1681 and Terrascope models to complement any night-time expeditions with style and assurance. Dedicated to adventurers, the three companions for urban, sporting or elegant nights are the perfect examples of the JEANRICHARD “philosophy of life”.

1681 with black DLC case
A homage to the very first watch created by Daniel Jeanrichard at the end of the 17th century, the 1681 reinvents tradition in a new, highly original colour of the night. A dynamic, refined and urban look for night time walks in well-lit streets or for discovering the more secret corners of a city after-hours, it is the perfect companion to those urban characters fuelled by the electric energy of cities and their alluring facets.

The steel cushion case is decorated with a black DLC coating with a matt, powder-coat surface. It’s entirely micro beaded finish adds strength to the modern but discreet style. Only essential references, the leaf-shaped hour and minute hands and the date, stand out against the black dial, thanks to a luminescent beige coating.

Within this case of hitherto unseen elegance beats a JR1000, automatic winding movement, made in-house, with a black rotor which has an exclusive décor visible through the transparent case-back.

Terrascope with black DLC case
A starry night in the immensity of the desert, a moonless evening on the world’s highways, the thrill of the unknown and the unexplored, the Terrascope –JEANRICHARD’s flagship model – shares the most beautiful night-time hours for everyday explorers who wish to savour every moment of the day in a new edition finished with a sleek black DLC coating.

The alternating “vertical satin” finish on the flat surfaces and sandblasted finish on the bevels subtly underline the watche’s original design, with its robust construction in several parts and its combination of a cushion case with a round glass. The indexes and hands are clearly distinguishable on a matt black dial, with cut-outs that make them stand out and a white luminescent coating.

The sporty touch is completed by a black rubber strap with a folding clasp. The mechanical movement with automatic winding ensures accuracy and reliability twenty-four hours a day.

A perfect blend of class and laid-back attitude as well as luxury and authenticity, this model unveils a subtle touch of the “gentleman farmer”. The sophisticated construction of the case in multiple parts alternates “vertical satin” surfaces with polished bevels to play with light.

The matt black case-back makes the clean geometry of the dial stand out with its applied numerals and big hands covered with pink gold and a luminescent coating.

JEANRICHARD – Terrascope Patrouille des Glaciers 30th Anniversary Limited Edition

The Swiss watchmaker will partner with the legendary Swiss alpine team competition Patrouille des Glaciers (PDG) in Spring 2014. The PDG is the worldwide biggest ski race through mountains/ski alpinism race and takes place every two years – starting in Zermatt and leading through Arolla to Verbier in Switzerland. This mountaineering ski race dates back to the 1940s and challenges participants to verify their physical preparedness and technical proficiency in tough high-altitude terrain.

Official watchmaker and timekeeper of the legendary Patrouille des Glaciers, JEANRICHARD, is to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Alpine Skiing competition by launching a limited edition of 100 Terrascope watches.

In order to accompany the extreme adventurers on the “high road” leading from Zermatt via Arolla to Verbier in the Swiss Alps, the iconic JEANRICHARD model features an exclusive light grey dial with engraved altitude curves, a reminder of the heights scaled during the race, as well as a comfortable sturdy bracelet in dark grey rubber. The steel case, housing a self-winding mechanical movement, blends an extraordinary robustness with a magnificently distinctive design, adorned with alternating “vertical satin” and polished finishes.

About Patrouille des Glaciers
Patrouille des Glaciers is an exceptional race from either Zermatt to Verbier or from Arolla to Verbier. This unique event is characterized by its length, high average altitude, as well as by the profile of the route. The participants not only require a real mountaineering experience but also need to master extreme weather, mental and physical conditions.

Teams consist of three competitors. The minimum age is 20 years for competitors of Course A and 18 years for participants of Course B.  In recent years, the number of participants under 30 years has exceeded 45%. In 1984, turnout averaged just 5%. This proves that ski mountaineering is a dynamic booming sport among young people. This legendary event attracts around 1 400 patrols throughout the world. The Patrouille des Glaciers, which takes place every 2 years, involves 4500 participants from around the world working in teams of three. The event next takes place in 2014 in late April/early May.

JEANRICHARD Aquascope Boat Race Limited Edition – Official Timepiece, the 2014 BNY Mellon Boat Race challenge

On 24 October 2013, at the Autumn Reception held at the BNY Mellon Headquarters and accompanied by the official timekeeper JEANRICHARD in London, the Oxford and Cambridge University Boat Clubs accepted the new challenge acknowledging the start of 2014 season of the prestigious BNY Mellon Boat Race. They agreed to face each other on the Thames on Sunday 6 April 2014 in a challenge laid down by the Cambridge University Boat Club President after they lost in 2013.

As the Official timekeeper of the famous rowing competition, the Swiss watch brand JEANRICHARD participated in these kick-start proceedings. This partnership, entered into under the aegis of the brand’s Aquascope collection, is based on the common values of team spirit, endurance, passionate commitment and a particular Philosophy of Life.

It has inspired the development of an exclusive new Aquascope model designed in the race’s traditional colours, with a minute-circle and double hour-marker at 12 o’clock reproducing the two shades of blue corresponding to the two teams (Dark Blue for Oxford, Light Blue for Cambridge), a blue rubber strap with a finely-ribbed surface, and a seconds hand adorned with an arrow referring to the logo of the Race.

Available from November 2013 at authorised JEANRICHARD sales outlets, this Aquascope “Boat Race” model with its self-winding movement is produced in a limited series of 160 watches, as a tribute to The 2014 BNY Mellon Boat Race, which will be the 160th to be held.

JEANRICHARD Golden Eagle Terrascope & Jaguar Terrascope Limited Edition

This year and on the occasion of SIAR – the Salon International de Alta Relojeria, one of the largest watch forums held in Mexico – the Swiss watch maker JEANRICHARD introduces two new Limited Editions of 50 numbered timepieces to pay tribute to the most emblematic members of the Mexican animal kingdom, the Golden Eagle and the Jaguar.

Both animals have been symbols commanding the greatest respect in Mexico since the pre-Hispanic era, and it is believed that the Golden Eagle and the Jaguar represented respectively Light and Darkness in Aztec mythology. Today, the Iconic Terrascope from JEANRICHARD gives life to this innovative and elegantly sporty special edition.

The Golden Eagle and the Jaguar are two species whose role is vital for the normal working of the ecosystems that they live in. They help to maintain the population balance of other species with whom they share their habitat. In line with the values of JEANRICHARD, both animals have to achieve extraordinary things – be the everyday heroes – to be able to live in an ever changing world.

The Terrascope model, with its cushion-shaped case and large rounded bezel, has a style that is strikingly contemporary and original, at the same time being sober and masculine. It combines a sense of individuality with the sophistication, solidity and robustness of the numerous parts of its structure, while also being water-resistant to 100 metres. This model has a self-winding JR60 movement and is equipped with a power reserve of 42 hours.

The first version of this Limited Edition, the Golden Eagle Terrascope, dedicated to the Mexican national symbol, displays a black camouflage-style satin finish.

At the bottom of the dial is a very delicate engraving depicting the most significant features of this potent bird of prey.

The Terrascope version inspired by the Jaguar has the same camouflage-style satin finish, but this time in grey. At 6 o’clock there is a silhouette showing the features of this legendary cat.

Both versions come with a rubber strap, black and grey respectively, and with a finely-ribbed surface, the JR signature and a folding buckle.

With this Limited Edition, JEANRICHARD honours, and also provides financial support to the Fundación Refugio Salvaje (Wildlife Refugee Foundation), which on a daily basis is dedicated to protecting these legendary animals that are now in danger of extinction.

JEANRICHARD watches represent the beauty of wide open spaces, the enchantment of other places, the richness of new encounters and admiration for a world that we need to protect. This is why, in association with the Wildlife Refugee Foundation, the Swiss watch maker seeks the conservation and protection of these legendary Mexcian species – and all the future owners of one of these 50 numbered limited edition timepieces will also contribute to help protect them.

Known for its sportsmanship and very distinctive style (including the famous sky-blue-and-white striped shirt), Racing Metro 92 also attaches great importance to fostering young talents and training. In addition to the main professional team and the original rugby school in Colombes, two new schools in Plessis-Robinson and Nanterre are maintained, complemented by an academy for the team’s best talents and a state-of-the-art training centre including a private school. Its motto is: “train men”; that is to say educate the next generation in the sporting basics of rugby, but also the values underlying the philosophy – enjoyment of the game, the nobility of hard work, fighting spirit, ambition, humility, solidarity, respect for the rules and for the opponent.

This concern to pass on the ball echoes Daniel Jeanrichard’s approach. Founder of the Neuchâtel watch industry in the late seventeenth century, this pioneer was also careful to hand down the knowledge and the spirit of excellence to future generations, and played an important role in setting up an apprenticeship system that is active to this day.

As “Official Watch” of Racing Metro 92, JEANRICHARD will be an active partner of this outstanding rugby team.

JEANRICHARD Neroscope Limited Edition

Swiss luxury watch brand JEANRICHARD unveils – The Neroscope, an exclusive variation of the Aeroscope limited to 500 pieces, cuts a special figure with its aviator watch design and full black coating. Its powerful and original look is bound to captivate aficionados of air conquest and of high excitement.

The Aeroscope chronograph, inspired from the techno style of cockpit instruments, evokes the universe of the sky. JEANRICHARD took a new look at this aeronautic spirit in a limited edition, creatively playing with all the nuances of black. The model was named Neroscope – a contraction of nero (black) and Aeroscope. The light, robust titanium case is coated in night-black DLC; its emblematic cushion-shaped design, with a large, round bezel, has been discreetly enhanced by alternating “vertical satin” and sanded finishing on the flat surfaces and bezel respectively.

The “all-black” stealth look extends onto the “vertical satin-brushed” dial, with “circular satin-brushed” counters and Arab numerals, indexes and open-worked “arrow” hands covered in black luminescent coating. The rubber strap in the same hue features a rhythmic stripe relief with a double JR signature and a double deployment clasp that ensures comfort and reliability. The automatic chronograph movement measures aerial exploits with great precision.

Eyes and fingers quickly master the functions thanks to the elongate pushers of carbon fibre and the large crown that is easy to handle. Daring, racy, unique, the Neroscope is manufactured in a limited edition of 500 pieces worldwide. It has all the impact and mystery of black – to accompany the most beautiful night or daytime flights.

JEANRICHARD Terrascope for Ladies

Swiss luxury watch brand JEANRICHARD unveils two feminine Terrascope models in stainless steel marrying diamonds or amethysts with a very original aubergine hue.

Modern, sober and sophisticated, the JEANRICHARD Terrascope has achieved fame for its very exquisite cushion-style case, its sportive elegance, its readiness to share every adventure. It retains all its qualities in its feminine embodiment – a double row of 88 precious stones in staggered arrangement on the bezel.

The diamonds (1.05 carat) blend subtly with the white dial; the amethysts harmonise in beauty with a violet dial in a contemporary look. The play with light is reinforced by the subtly alternating “vertical satin-brushed” and polished finishing on the case. The uniquely shaped hands and the applique indexes enhanced by a luminescent coating ensure optimal readability both during the day and in the depth of night.

To add class and daring to the wrist, these models are mounted on an aubergine-coloured alligator strap featuring a very modern rubber feel and closed with a robust and comfortable folding clasp. At the heart of this case, which is water-resistant to 100 metres, beats a mechanical movement with automatic winding.

Elegant and resilient, precise and precious, sober and refined, the bejewelled Terrascope is the ideal companion for a journey on the planet’s paths and for exploring new horizons in style – that is the entire philosophy of life of JEANRICHARD.

The aubergine dial is also available with a bezel set with diamonds, and the model with a white dial can be mounted onto a white alligator strap.

JEANRICHARD Terrascope – Black Dial, Black Rubber Strap

With its sportive and elegant design, highly imaginative stainless-steel case, black dial and rubber strap, the Terrascope has made its mark as a perfect representative of the JEANRICHARD spirit. The cushion-style case combined with a large round bezel communicates a resolutely modern, original and masculine look. It exudes independence – coupled with the resilience and robustness of a sophisticated construction made up of many components and water-resistant to 100 metres. The ingenious contrast between the “vertical satin-brushed” finishing (on the flat parts of the middle case and the lateral bars) and polished finishing (on the bezel) plays with the light and underscores the classy daredevil look of these timepieces.

The automatic mechanical movement maintains timekeeping with precision and reliability. Applique indexes enhance the black vertical satin-brushed dial. The hour and minute hands are designed in contrasting forms for highly accurate readability, which is reinforced by luminescent coating. The second hand bears a red tip. Combining comfort and a sportive feel, the black rubber strap is decorated with a relief of narrow stripes, a JR signature, and a folding clasp.

Besides this iconic model – a genuine symbol of JEANRICHARD’s rebirth – the Terrascope comes with a large choice of dials and leather bracelets in alligator or rubber and in a wide range of colors from sober to daring. The Terrascope is also available on a stainless-steel bracelet with satin-brushed finishing and polished accents and closed with a butterfly clasp. On some models, the sporty chic feel is underscored by pinkgold lateral bars.

JEANRICHARD – 1681 Central Second – Rhodium dial

The heir to a venerable watchmaking tradition and the product of a long history of craftsmanship: such is the 1681 Collection from JEANRICHARD. Its timepieces beat to the rhythm of the JR1000 calibre Manufacture movement, conceived, developed and created in the brand’s own workshops.

New models have now been added to the collection, offering a variety of dials and bracelets. Right from the start it is the neo-vintage look that catches the eye. The rhodium-plated dial features a date display at 3 o’clock that sagely surveys the rotation of the pink gold-plated hands. The hands glide over an hour-circle made up of baton indexes and Arabic numerals that are also plated with pink gold.

It has perfect readability thanks to the touches of superluminova on the hour and minute hands. The brand’s characteristic cushion-shaped case is here clad in pink gold. Its generous dimensions – 46mm across between 9 and 3 o’clock – are designed to allow the time indications all the space that they require. This timepiece is available with a thick mahogany-coloured alligator strap, of which the round-scaled skin of the lining and the light-coloured double-thread stitching accentuate the model’s original, vintage character. A new version with a black dial and small second display is also available.

Visible through the sapphire case back, the JR1000 calibre’s oscillating mass features the brand’s new signature logo. Its restrained, graphic design is pared down to the bare essentials.

While remaining faithful to the origins of JEANRICHARD, the 1681 watch is never slow to assert its own personality. Entirely designed and produced at the Brand’s Swiss workshops in La Chaux-de-Fonds, a UNESCO World Heritage site that is one of the historic birthplaces of watchmaking, the model’s Manufacture movement testifies to a long historical tradition of fine workmanship. Its carefully-designed and innovative case, its polished satin finishes and sober, distinguished dial combine to give this timepiece its committed, dynamic and determined character. In this it resembles its owners, ever faithful to the aspirations that constitute an entire philosophy of life.

JEANRICHARD – Terrascope – Blue Lacquered Dial

JEANRICHARD’s Terrascope Collection diversifies its personality with a range of new dials. A blue lacquered dial is housed in the 46 mm (3-9 h) cushion-shaped case. Its unique intensity gives the watch an “arty” look.

The steel-coloured hour and minute hands are sporty in style and highlighted with superluminova. The applied indexes hollowed out into a U-shape have alternating polished and shot-blast finishes that emphasise the volumes concerned and are prolonged with a block of luminescent material. The date display is positioned at 3 o’clock and the central second hand has a red arrow streak.

The style of the new Terrascope watch continues with its steel bracelet, whose contrasting links have alternating polished and satin finishes that accentuate its sporty feel. It is also available with a blue bracelet for a totally monochrome look. In the background the self-winding JR60 calibre provides the accuracy required of a watch that will accompany your day-to-day life, with the new JEANRICHARD logo engraved on its case back.

JEANRICHARD Aquascope – New Models

JEANRICHARD Aquascope is a perfect timepiece for those who interested in water sports and diving thanks to its highly convincing character and unique sportive qualities. Its robust cushion-style case, with a reinforced sapphire crystal and screw-down back and crown, ensure water resistance to 300 metres.

The uni-directional rotating bezel guarantees excellent handling and precise time-setting for divers thanks to its knurled edge and minute scale. The hour and minute hands are shaped very distinctly; as with the large applique indexes; they are backed by a luminescent coating offering optimal visibility in water or in foam. The red-tipped second hand allows the wearer to quickly check if the watch is working.

Thanks to its ingenious design, the Aquascope sets itself apart through some very clever finishing touches – satin-brushed on the flat surfaces of the middle case and lugs, polished on the bevelled edges. This careful treatment of the details is enhanced by the dynamic contrast between the circular satin polish of the bezel and the vertical satin brushing on the dial.

The collection also plays with colour in models featuring an aluminium bezel with dark blue PVD coating or black DLC – an original touch that is reflected on the surfaced of the middle case or the dials. The latter are available in grey, blue or black satin finishing, or in white.

To underline its exclusivity, the collection is driven by a high-powered automatically wound movement. The feeling of comfort, safety and the touch of style are enhanced by a stainless steel bracelet with a butterfly clasp. It also comes with a delicately streaked rubber strap signed JR, and a folding clasp matching the dial.

The Aquascope, an accurate, robust and resolutely masculine timepiece, has found the perfect ambassador in Franck Cammas. The French yachtsman was named “Sailor of the Year” in 2012. He combines a spectacular list of triumphs with outstanding human qualities. He won the Volvo Ocean Race in 2011-2012, for example. His resilience, his courage, his sheer joie de vivre and passion for the sea endow him with the ideal qualities to match this collection devoted to marine adventurers.

JEANRICHARD Aeroscope Chronograph in Titanium

A re-interpretation of the old aviators watches the new Aeroscope chronograph in titanium shares man’s most enduring dream with style and equanimity.

JEANRICHARD drew inspiration from the technical look of flight panel instruments to create a collection that evokes the vast universe of the sky. The obvious sign: unparalleled legibility, with large numerals and luminescent indexes in orange, white or black with a contrasting background. The automatic chronograph movement measures aerial exploits with great precision.

Eyes and fingers quickly master the functions thanks to the elongate pushers and the bezel with a minute scale, the large luminescent numerals and the skeletonised “arrow” hands that are also covered in luminescent matter. The dials come in rhodium-treated black or grey, vertical satin finishing and sunken counters with circular satin finishing, or in matt white.

The cushion-shaped case in titanium – a metal especially favoured in aeronautics –  is both light and robust at the same time. A large, round bezel with vertical satin finishing sits on the case, which is built of several parts, allowing for various satin or polished finishes and for a play with colours on the metal, natural grey or black with DLC coating. This collection, therefore, offers a broad choice of models, ranging from grey or black titanium, and passing by various combinations of cases, lugs and bezels.

The tribute to the conquest of the skies is reinforced by the black or brown Barenia® leather bracelets with contrasting stitches in off-white or orange. The Aeroscope can also be worn on a black, white, orange or grey rubber strap with an exclusive embossed design, the JR signature and a folding clasp, or a plain or black titanium bracelet with alternating motifs and a butterfly clasp.

To accompany the take-off of this practical and exciting chronograph, JEANRICHARD chose an exceptional “godfather”, a man known for his levelheadedness, his self-mastery and his passion for flying. An experienced pilot, captain Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger made history on January 15, 2009, when he ditched the Airbus A320 he was piloting in the Hudson River in New York City, saving the lives of all 155 people on board. It was a feat that made him a hero – and it embodies perfectly the spirit of the new Aeroscope collection.

JEANRICHARD 1681 Ronde Collection

In tribute to Daniel Jeanrichard, considered one of the founders of the Neuchâtel region’s watch industry, the JEANRICHARD brand draws strength from its creative energy and promotes independence as a way of life. The 1681 collection boasts the year that Daniel Jeanrichard manufactured his first watch. It takes a fresh look at traditional watchmaking in a contemporary style while staying true to the old watchmaker’s precepts, allowing no compromise, whether technical or aesthetic.

Born in the end of the 17th century at Les Bressels, on La Sagne lake in Switzerland, Daniel Jeanrichard took an early interest in small mechanisms. Chance gave him a watch to mend. With perseverance and patience, he studied the timepiece, dismantled it and decided to reproduce it. It was his first contact with watchmaking. What began as a fascination quickly became a passion for the young man, who was just 14 at the time. This autodidact was later led to work on other timepieces. Bit by bit, he acquired the working mastery and the techniques necessary for making timepieces. In 1692, he was qualified, for the first time, as “Master Clockmaker”, the very first in the region. Three years later, building on his knowledge of silversmithing, he took the titles of both Watchmaker and Silversmith.

His contribution to the development of watchmaking in the Neuchâtel region of the Jura Mountains is undeniable: apart from the invention of various tools and machines, he was the creator of the system of division of labor, with different workshops and factories for assembling watches. Considered a pioneer in the field, he worked towards keeping the profession alive, and in 1701, hired his first apprentices, thus building the bases of a regional tradition that survives today, and is celebrated in the 1681 collection.

The 1681 watches are “timekeepers” in the true meaning of the word. They have preserved in their heart the expertise inherited from the industry’s pioneers. Their hours turn with faultless regularity to the beat of a self-winding mechanical movement, the famous JR1000, created and developed by JEANRICHARD in 2004 after 4 years of research and development. With a diameter of 11’’’1/2 and only 3.77 mm thick, it offers excellent timekeeping performance and perfect running stability, even with added modules. Grand master of time, the caliber sits in a choice housing whose face recalls the finest classic watches, with a touch of modernity setting it firmly in the 21st century.

The 1681 Ronde watch epitomizes all the elegance of traditional watchmaking. Symbolizing authenticity, it turns the idea of balance into a true discipline to impose its hours. Driven by the famous caliber JR1000 self-winding manufacture movement, it comes in two versions; a three hands and date or a small seconds with date. Refined style and contemporary dimensions are the salient features of the 41 mm-diameter case.

In pink gold or steel, it provides a simple frame for the time display in a classic presentation, reduced to its clearest expression. Here, legibility rules on a white lacquered dial that eschews attempts at superfluous decoration. The date is displayed at 3 o’clock while the traditional leafshaped hands are highlighted with luminescent material. The baton indexes accentuated with phosphorescent material add a touch of urbane modernity. The pink gold version has additional applied Arabic numerals whose design blends harmoniously with the shape of the indexes.

Behind the scenes, with well tested regularity, beats the manufacture JR1000 caliber, with a new rotor bearing the brand’s signature visible through the sapphire back. Its purified design responds to the spirit of time. An alligator strap with pin buckle and hand-rolled edges gives the piece a final touch of elegance.

Its sober black dial features numerals in ivory-coloured luminescent material, and a signature “Big Life” indication in red.
