Carl F. Bucherer Adamavi Full Calendar

This new timepiece from Carl F. Bucherer’s Adamavi line combines a practical full calendar with arguably the most charismatic complication in watchmaking: the moon phase. The new model is available in two superb versions, either with a leather strap or metal bracelet.

Carl F. Bucherer Adamavi Full Calendar

The 39 mm stainless steel case houses a black or silver dial. The vertical satin finish of the dial and slender bar indices in a warm gold tone give this dress watch a modern, understated look. This is also reflected in the clear, user-friendly structure of the calendar.

Carl F. Bucherer Adamavi Full Calendar

A ring of Arabic numerals milled into the center of the dial, along which a distinctive black or white hand moves, shows the date to the viewer, while windows at 10 o’clock and 2 o’clock indicate the day of the week and the month. An exceptional striking feature is the stylish moon phase at 6 o’clock, on which a golden moon moves across a starry night sky.

Carl F. Bucherer Adamavi Full Calendar

The new timepiece is optionally available with a sporty and elegant metal bracelet with stainless steel folding clasp or alternatively with an alligator leather strap in black or midnight blue.

Carl F. Bucherer Adamavi Full Calendar

The Adamavi FullCalendar watch is both practical and easy to read. It is easy to individually set the three displays – including the date, day of the week and month – using the three correctors embedded in the case. The moon phase display at 6 o’clock can also be easily set using a corrector located at 8 o’clock.

Carl F. Bucherer Adamavi Full Calendar

The Adamavi FullCalendar houses the rugged CFB 1966 automatic movement, which keeps the watch and its features running precisely for 42 long hours without external influence.

Depancel [Re]naissance 24H

This automatic timepiece pays tribute to an iconic car manufactured by the French luxury automobile and Racecar Company Delage.

Depancel Renaissance 24H Automatic watch

The [Re]naissance collection by French watch brand by Depancel is a befitting tribute to the Delage D8 120S car which made its first appearance at the 1936 Paris Motor Show.

Depancel Renaissance 24H Automatic watch

The watch comes with a polished, brushed stainless steel case that faithfully reproduces the lines of the prominent radiator grill on the legendary Coupé. The grooved dial takes this novel interpretation even further and highlights the display of four complications: day, month, date and 24H function.

Depancel Renaissance 24H Automatic watch

The watch houses an automatic Miyota 9120 movement with a power reserve of 40 hours. Featuring a custom decorated rotor, this movement can be admired through the sapphire crystal case-back.

Depancel Renaissance 24H Automatic watch

The 316L stainless steel case, which is inspired by the shape of Delage D8’s radiator grill, measures 37mm x 42mm and has a thickness of 12.8mm. The [Re]naissance 24H is available in Silvery steel, Gun metal, Pink gold PVD and Full black case versions. Each version is limited to 1936 pieces.

Depancel Renaissance 24H Automatic watch

The Delage D8 was an eight-cylinder luxury car with a top speed of 160 km/h, an amazing feat during those times. The legendary French car manufacture Delage was founded in 1905 by Louis Delage in Levallois-Perret near Paris. In 1935, the company was acquired by Delahaye, a Tours (France) based car manufacture founded by Émile Delahaye in 1894.

Due to the depressed economic conditions of post-war France, both car brands (Delage & Delahaye) ceased their operations in 1953.

In November 2019, after more than six decades, Les Amis de Delage (the association formed in 1956) and entrepreneur Laurent Tapie  jointly announced to re-launch this iconic car brand. The newly formed Delage Automobiles has also announced their plan to produce Delage D12, a brand new hybrid supercar to be manufactured in France.

Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control Collection New Edition: Master Control Calendar, Master Control Chronograph Calendar, Master Control Date and Master Control Geographic

Jaeger-LeCoultre re-launches its Master Control collection with new models drawing inspiration from the classic round watches of the 1950s, such as the Futurematic, PowerMatic and Memovox models, and adding a dash of 21st-century flair.

Designed for the urban sophisticate, every element of the Master Control line has been restyled. Jaeger-LeCoultre’s designers have harnessed and modernised the Maison’s classical design codes to create a refined yet entirely contemporary aesthetic that highlights the collection’s complications. A new case design heralds the introduction of a new pink gold alloy – Le Grand Rose gold®.

Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control Calendar
Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control Calendar

When launched in 1992, the Master Control line was the first of Jaeger-LeCoultre’s collections to benefit from its pioneering ‘1000 Hours Control’ certification – which inspired the collection’s name. A demanding process that tests the entire cased-up watch (not just its movement), it set a new benchmark when introduced and has continually evolved in response to technological advances, to remain one of the watch industry’s most stringent testing protocols.

Naturally, with this background and the Maison’s long history of technical innovation, the relaunch of Master Control is not simply a stylistic exercise. The Manufacture’s engineers have comprehensively revised and updated all of the movements, increasing power reserves to as much as 70 hours and enhancing overall performance and reliability. Like all Jaeger-LeCoultre timepieces, the Master Control watches carry an 8-year warranty in addition to the 1,000 Hours Control certification.

Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control Chronograph Calendar
Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control Chronograph Calendar

With its 40-millimetre diameter, outwardly sloping bezel and dynamically curved lugs, the new Master Control case exudes a relaxed and understated elegance – timeless yet absolutely contemporary. Satin-brushing on the case-sides is complemented by the polished bezel, crowns and lugs. Refined details abound, including bas-relief engravings on the back bezel and a sapphire crystal case-back to reveal the finely finished and decorated movements.

On the dials, Jaeger-LeCoultre’s designers have reinterpreted the Maison’s classical codes in a streamlined and modern style, in order to highlight each model’s complications. The applied indexes add refinement, their elongated triangular shape echoed by the Dauphine hands. Uniting the collection, sunray brushing animates the silvery-white background colour, a blue central seconds hand adds a subtle pop of colour and, according to the model, blued subdial hands further accentuate the complications.

Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control Date
Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control Date

The versatility of the new collection is underlined by the choice of two case materials – steel and Le Grand Rose gold®. Seen for the first time in the new Master Control line, the new pink gold alloy has a remarkable sheen and depth of colour. The addition of palladium to the metal’s proprietary formula (the exact details of which remain a closely guarded secret) guards against oxidation and ensures that the radiant colour will not fade over the years.

The straps, too, have been re-worked for the new collection. To complement the timeless informality of the steel cases, Jaeger-LeCoultre’s designers have chosen the soft, matt finish of Novonappa® calf leather in tan. Produced by the finest tannery in France, through a vegetable-based tanning process that retains the natural variations of the hides, Novonappa gains a distinctive patina over time.

Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control Geographic
Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control Geographic

Thanks to a Presto Spring lug attachment and a simple clip for removing and refitting the deployant buckle, the Novonappa straps can be quickly changed, without the need for any tool. Classical alligator leather in black or chocolate brown lends a more formal allure to the Le Grand Rose gold® cases – which can also be fitted with Novonappa straps if preferred.

With the goal of improving reliability, power reserve and long-term performance, Jaeger-LeCoultre’s engineers have comprehensively revised and re-engineered Calibre 899, the high-performing pillar of the Master Control collection. The improvements, which have been incorporated into the entire range of Master Control calibres, include a silicon escapement, a redesigned barrel and various energy-saving enhancements.

Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control Calendar

In the 1940s and ’50s Jaeger-LeCoultre was renowned for its triple calendar moon-phase movements, and the new Master Control Calendar brings that tradition into the 21st century. With a case measuring 40mm x 10.95mm, it is offered in either steel or Le Grand Rose gold®.

Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control Calendar

The finely balanced classical layout of the dial is retained, with the dates marked around the periphery, indicated by a red-tipped hand, the days and months displayed in the upper part of the dial, and the moon-phase set within the small seconds subdial in the lower part.

Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control Calendar

But there is a fresh new twist to the date display: as well as updating Calibre 866 with the same performance-enhancing improvements made to cal.899, Jaeger-LeCoultre’s engineers have added a delightful new jumping complication.

Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control Calendar-calibre-866

Every month, the date hand makes a 90-degree leap from the 15th to the 16th, in order not to obscure the moon-phase display.

Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control Chronograph Calendar

The headline model of the new Master Control collection features a newly developed movement, Calibre 759, which combines a chronograph with a triple calendar display and a moon-phase.

Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control Chronograph Calendar

Brought together for the first time in a Jaeger-LeCoultre timepiece, this alliance of complications evokes the ancient links between watchmaking and astronomy. The new Calibre 759 features a column-wheel chronograph with a vertical clutch, a moon-phase indicator, and a 65-hour power reserve.

Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control Chronograph Calendar-calibre-759

With a balanced dial layout that combines the familiarity of two classical complications – a triple calendar and a bi-compax chronograph – Jaeger-LeCoultre’s designers have made the reading of the displays straightforward and intuitive, despite the complexity of the information shown.

Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control Chronograph Calendar

The 30-minute chronograph counter at 3 o’clock is balanced by the running seconds subdial at 9 o’clock, while the day and month windows in the top part of dial are balanced by the moon-phase and date indicator at 6 o’clock.

Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control Chronograph Calendar

The entire display is anchored by the central chronograph seconds hand and contained by the pulsometric scale marked around the dial flange.

Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control Chronograph Calendar

Complementing the Chronograph Calendar’s timeless style, rectangular chronograph pushers add a purposeful, modern air to the well-proportioned 12.05mm thick case, which is offered in steel or Le Grand Rose gold®.

Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control Date

With its cool, silvery-white colour palette, minimalistic design and refined details, the Master Control Date anchors the new collection.

Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control Date

Thanks to its slim movement, Calibre 899, the 40mm steel case of the Master Control Date is just 8.78mm thick.

Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control Date

A Jaeger LeCoultre mainstay since its introduction fifteen years ago, Calibre 899 has been repeatedly updated to incorporate the latest performance-enhancing technology.

Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control Date calibre-899

Revised again for the new Master Control collection, the latest-generation Calibre 899 features a new escapement and pallets: reconstructed in a slightly modified shape, they are made of silicon to minimize friction and thus consume less energy.

Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control Date

The central-seconds wheel has been redesigned to eliminate shaking; the fixing screws of the oscillating wheel are made of highly resistant titanium, rather than steel; and new oils, specifically formulated for the new materials, have been used. In order to increase the power reserve to 70 hours, the barrel was redesigned to accommodate a stronger and longer mainspring without increasing the 3.3mm height of the movement.

Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control Geographic

Jaeger-LeCoultre’s unique interpretation of the travel watch has been a feature of the Master Control collection since 1990, much appreciated by connoisseurs. Rather than indicating only the hour of a second time zone, the Geographic also has a 24-hour night/day indicator and, in an aperture at the bottom of the dial, displays the city name relating to the zone. This gives travellers the option of setting the second time by location, rather than needing to calculate the time difference.

Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control Geographic

The dial adheres to the familiar Geographic layout, with time-zone displays balanced by a date subdial and a power reserve indicator, and heat-blued steel hands adding a pop of colour to enhance legibility. But now, the entire dial is sunray-brushed, contained within a wide, convex flange on which the elongated triangular indexes are set.

Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control Geographic caseback view

The profile of each index has been shaped to fit perfectly flush with the curve where the flange meets the dial – a challenge to Jaeger-LeCoultre’s artisans but entirely in keeping with the Maison’s attention to detail.

Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control Geographic-calibre-939

The new-generation Calibre 939 increases the power reserve of the Master Control Geographic to 70 hours, while the case is available in a choice of steel or Le Grand Rose gold®.

Vacheron Constantin Fiftysix® New Models (Fiftysix® Complete Calendar and Fiftysix® Self-winding) with Sepia Brown-Toned Dial and Matching Calfskin Strap

Unveiled in 2018, the Fiftysix® from Vacheron Constantin is a retro-contemporary collection inspired by an iconic 1956 watch. This year, the collection welcomes two pink gold versions reinterpreting the iconic reference 6073, launched in 1956 and inspired by the shape of the Maltese cross.

Heir to an iconic watch from the 1950s, the Fiftysix® collection celebrates the skillful marriage of styles and eras. Fiftysix® borrows powerful characteristics from reference 6073, introduced in 1956 and the very first water-resistant automatic watch ever created by Vacheron Constantin.

The lugs shape forming a section of the Manufacture’s Maltese cross emblem; the box-type crystal topping the bezel in the manner of post-war watches; along with a retro look that perfectly complements the timeless elegance of its 18 carats 5N pink gold case measuring 40 mm in diameter.

A new sepia brown-toned dial colour now reinforces the vintage character of this watch, available in two versions, automatic and complete calendar, fitted for the first time by a brown calfskin leather strap.

Vacheron Constantin Fiftysix® Complete Calendar with Sepia Brown-Toned Dial and Matching Calfskin Strap

The retro-contemporary character of the Fiftysix® complete calendar watch is imbued with a new vintage aura. Framed by a 40 mm-diameter 18 carats 5N pink gold case, the sepia brown-toned dial is visually extended by a calfskin leather strap. Punctuated by day, date, month indications – as well as a precision moon phase requiring no adjustment for 122 years –, the watch face conceals a wealth of details.

Vacheron Constantin Fiftysix® Complete Calendar with Sepia Brown-Toned Dial and Matching Calfskin Strap

The subtle sector-type dial features opaline, sunburst and snailed finishes creating fascinating light effects, setting the stage for 18 carats 5N pink gold moon discs standing out against a blue sky.

Vacheron Constantin Fiftysix® Complete Calendar with Sepia Brown-Toned Dial and Matching Calfskin Strap

Around the circumference, the chapter ring bears specially designed Arabic numerals, alternating with gold hour-markers coated in luminescent material, as are the hours and minutes hands also visible in the dark. This results in exemplary legibility of the complete calendar indications, accurately driven by the 2460 QCL/1 self-winding movement, also equipped with a stop-seconds device.

Vacheron Constantin Fiftysix® Complete Calendar with Sepia Brown-Toned Dial and Matching Calfskin Strap

The sapphire caseback reveals traditional Côtes de Genève finishes, swept over by a 22 carats pink gold oscillating weight delicately open-worked in a shape inspired by the Maltese cross.

Vacheron Constantin Fiftysix® Complete Calendar with Sepia Brown-Toned Dial and Matching Calfskin Strap 1

A strong symbol also evoked in the shape of the lugs and on the notched crown of this watch that stylishly mingles historical influences with the aesthetic codes of contemporary elegance.

With its new sepia brown-toned dial colour matching the colour of its calfskin strap, the personality of the Fiftysix® self-winding watch is further reinforced by an even more resolutely retro touch.

Topped by a box-type crystal typical of the 1950s, the sector-type dial is distinguished by the refinement of its opaline, sunburst and snailed finishes. The resulting beautiful interplay of light and shade enhances its legibility.

Vacheron Constantin Fiftysix® Self-winding with Sepia Brown-Toned Dial and Matching Calfskin Strap 1

This pleasing composition is punctuated by hands and hour-markers enhanced with luminescent material and matching the 40 mm-diameter 18 carats 5N pink gold case.

Vacheron Constantin Fiftysix® Self-winding with Sepia Brown-Toned Dial and Matching Calfskin Strap 1

On the reverse side, the self-winding movement visible through the sapphire crystal caseback provides an admirable view of the meticulous Côtes de Genève decoration swept over by an open-worked 22 carats pink gold oscillating weight whose design is inspired by the Maltese cross, a shape that echoes the Vacheron Constantin emblem and is also evoked in the case lugs and on the crown.

Blancpain Villeret New models in Red Gold Case and Blue-Dial – Villeret Quantième Complet (Ref. 6654-3640-55B) & Villeret Ultraplate (Ref. 6651-3640-55B)

In 2020, Blancpain is expanding its classic Villeret collection with the addition of two blue-dial versions of its Quantième Complet and the Ultraplate.

The Villeret Quantième Complet model harmoniously combines a complete calendar and moon phases. Its dial features discreet apertures indicating the day of the week and month at 12 o’clock, a calendar with a serpentine hand and a moon-phase display with a mischievous face positioned at 6 o’clock.

Blancpain Villeret Quantième Complet (Ref. 6654-3640-55B)

This timepiece is powered by the 6654 self-winding movement equipped with a safety system protecting it against any improper use of the functions. The watch owner is thus able to set the complete calendar at any time without any risk to the movement, unlike conventional calendar watches.

Blancpain Villeret Quantième Complet (Ref. 6654-3640-55B)

The Villeret Quantième Complet model is also equipped with patented under-lug correctors, enabling all the information to be adjusted at the press of a finger and thereby eliminating the need for a pusher tool.

Blancpain Villeret Quantième Complet (Ref. 6654-3640-55B)

The elegant Villeret Ultraplate features refined and contemporary expressions of the collection’s aesthetic codes. The hour and minute display is complemented by a large central seconds hand and a date window at 3 o’clock, sized to ensure optimal visual balance and readability.

Blancpain Villeret Ultraplate (Ref. 6651-3640-55B)

This timepiece is driven by the self-winding movement 1151, which ensures a four-day power reserve thanks to the use of two series-coupled barrels and high-performance springs.

Blancpain Villeret Ultraplate (Ref. 6651-3640-55B)

These new models pair a midnight-blue dial with a 40 mm red gold case for the first time. A symbol of nobility and refinement, blue exalts its depth and shimmer thanks to a sunburst dial finish.

Blancpain Villeret Ultraplate (Ref. 6651-3640-55B)

The blue face of this Villeret duo is embellished by applied hour-markers with Roman numerals crafted in red gold and slender matching hands. The hour and minute hands are shaped like cut-out sage leaves, while the seconds hands bear the initials of the House’s founder, Jehan-Jacques Blancpain.

The charm of the new Villeret Quantième Complet and Villeret Ultraplate watches is also evident on the reverse side.

Visible through a sapphire crystal case-back, the movements feature carefully executed decorations, such as the Côtes de Genève motif adorning the bridges and the honeycomb pattern that can be admired on the red gold oscillating weights.

These pure and elegant timepieces are teamed with a midnight-blue alligator strap in a shade as intense as that of their dial.

Sinn Model 6012 – Frankfurt Financial District Watch, Stainless Steel Model, Automatic Chronograph with Full Calendar and Moon Phase

The model 6012 is a  successor of the Sinn Frankfurt Financial District Watches, which were launched in 1999 with model 6000.

Model 6012 is the first to feature the Sinn SZ06 movement. Thanks to this complex factory modification, the German watch making company has combined the stopwatch minute counter with 60-second scale and the full calendar display with a moon phase display. This also ensures optimum readability, as the stopwatch minutes from 0 to 60 can easily be read.

The moon discs on the moon phase display are made from real mother-of-pearl. Due to the special, naturally occurring surface structure, mother-of-pearl creates a matt iridescent finish, which enhances the elegance of the watch. As a clear indication of the brand’s roots and reference to Sinn’s home town, a stylish engraving of the Frankfurt skyline adorns the rotor of the fine, exquisitely decorated movement.

Sinn 6012 Rose Gold Anniversary Limited Edition – The Frankfurt Financial District Watch with Moon Phase and Full Calendar Display

In 1999, SINN presented the Frankfurt Financial District Watch 6000 – a watch that marked a very special milestone in the company’s history. And, for the first time ever, the lettering ‘Frankfurt am Main’ featured on a SINN dial to underscore the close affiliation with the brand’s home town. The new Model 6012 Rose Gold Anniversary watch celebrates 20th anniversary of the first Frankfurt Financial District Watch.

Limited to just 50 pieces, the exclusivity of this watch is emphasised by its unique horological features. For example, a series first in the form of a moon phase display featuring real mother of-pearl moon discs adorns the black dial with sunburst decoration set in a wonderful case made of 18-carat rose gold. The naturally occurring mother-of-pearl effect creates an elegant shine combined with an ever-varying shimmer.

This visual detail is accompanied by the technical finesse of the SINN SZ06 movement. Specially designed in-house for this anniversary watch, this complex modification combines an off-centre stopwatch minute counter with 60-second scale with a moon phase indicator and a full calendar display.

The 6012 Rose Gold Anniversary is also equipped with DIAPAL Technology. The lubricant-free anchor escapement ensures the movement remains accurate for much longer.

Junghans Meister Kalender with Dark Blue Dial

A Junghans classic, the Meister Kalender showcases Italian elegance in 2019. The harmonious combination of the leather strap in cognac and a dark blue dial is one of the most popular colour combinations in the Meister range. As well as exuding elegance, this exhibits a particular sense of style. The meticulous attention to detail is evident in the design of the moon phase display developed in Junghans’s very own printing facilities: A Junghans star can be clearly seen upon closer observation of the celestial bodies.

The balanced design of the dial with its harmonious proportions has been a characteristic of the Meister line since the 1930s, together with the best movements produced at the company. In the 1950s the watch designers addressed the challenge of reducing the volumes of the watch and creating intricate timepieces, despite the relatively high movement. The steeply domed plexi glasses and dials in combination with thin-walled cases lent the watches a new, elegant and graceful look.

During this time Junghans was also producing numerous mechanical calibres, such as the chronometer caliber J83, one of the finest movements to be manufactured in Germany. The design of the Meister collection continues to delight with the grace of its historical predecessors to this day. The models are an homage to the design philosophy and technical achievements of that era. Modern technology, enthralling proportions and elegant lines are still features of these Junghans classics today.

Montblanc Star Legacy New Models – Star Legacy Nicolas Rieussec Chronograph, Star Legacy Automatic Date and Star Legacy Full Calendar

For 2019, Montblanc is unveiling four new Star Legacy models inspired by the origins of classical watchmaking: Two versions of the Star Legacy Nicolas Rieussec Chronograph and two new Star Legacy timepieces with Roman numerals—one with an automatic date calibre and the other with a full calendar.

The Montblanc Star Legacy product line takes its inspiration from Minerva’s heritage and the company’s pocket watches that were made during the late 19th century and early 20th century. These timepieces were the height of innovation for the time as they featured a patented crown system, leading the company to an early and immediate global success.

In the spirit of formal elegance, the Montblanc Star Legacy timepieces showcase classic design codes such as round, pebble shaped cases; horns with steps on the side; onion-shaped crowns with the recognisable Montblanc emblem, and eye-catching dials featuring the iconic exploding star guilloché pattern.

Following on from the launch of the Star Legacy Nicolas Rieussec Chronograph in stainless steel with a silvery-white dial that was unveiled last year, Montblanc is presenting two new versions — one is a combination of a red gold and anthracite aesthetic, while the other one comes in stainless-steel with an anthracite dial. Both are equipped with matching anthracite Sfumato alligator straps coming from the Maison’s leather workshop in Florence, Italy.

These timepieces pay tribute to the French watchmaker Nicolas Rieussec who invented the first inking chronograph that was patented in 1821 and has marked the history of fine watchmaking.

The Montblanc Star Legacy Nicolas Rieussec Chronographs incorporate the very recognisable two rotating, horizontally-aligned, discs on the watch’s dial—one for the chronograph’s 60-second counter and the other for the 30-minute counter — which turn below a fixed double index, like on the original device. Both the counters and the off-centred hours and minutes ring are domed to give an eye-catching three-dimensional effect.

Other design details on the dial include slim Arabic numerals that are surrounded by a precise railway minute track, leaf-shaped hands, azuré finishing in the centre of the dial and a “flet sauté” guilloché decoration that runs around the dial. A ring with the Nicolas Rieussec inscription has also been applied on the outer part of the dial, further paying tribute to the chronograph’s famous inventor.

The timepieces are powered by the iconic calibre MB R200 Manufacture monopusher chronograph movement with automatic winding and columnwheel mechanism that can be admired through the sapphire crystal case back. The movement has two barrels which store enough energy for 72 hours of power reserve.

For utmost precision, the Montblanc Star Legacy Chronograph Nicolas Rieussec is water resistant to 30 metres and is certified by the Montblanc Laboratory Test 500.

The Star Legacy product line was reinterpreted last year with refreshing new design codes directly rooted in the history of Minerva and classical fine watchmaking. This year, the product line is being enhanced further with two new Montblanc Star Legacy Automatic Date models and a Montblanc Star Legacy Full Calendar model featuring new black Roman numerals.

The new timepieces come in stainless steel and feature trendy coloured Sfumato straps coming from the strap from Richemont Pelletteria in Florence, Italy. In line with the design codes of the product line, the Montblanc Star Legacy Automatic Date features a refined dial with the Montblanc exploding star guilloché pattern, leaf-shaped hands, a “flet sauté” guilloché motif and a unique railway track.

The timepiece is equipped with the automatic calibre MB 24.01 and features the hours, minutes and seconds in the centre and a date in an aperture at six o’clock. It comes in a choice of 39 mm or 42 mm and is fitted with a silvery-white dial.

The MONTBLANC STAR LEGACY FULL CALENDAR features the same design codes as the Automatic Date and comes in a 42 mm stainless-steel case. The timepiece is powered by the automatic calibre MB 29.12 which indicates the hours, minutes, seconds, day, date, month and moonphase.

The date is read via a hand that culminates in a little red crescent that sweeps along a wreath of 31 digits around the dial’s periphery. The day of the week and the month appear in apertures on the upper half of the dial, while the lower half is reserved for the moonphase display.

Vacheron Constantin Fiftysix© New Petrol Blue Dial Versions of Fiftysix© Complete Calendar and Fiftysix© Self-Winding

Vacheron Constantin expands their FIFTYSIX© collection by presenting two new models -Fiftysix© Complete Calendar and Fiftysix© Self-Winding – featuring petrol blue dials.

Equipped with a self-winding movement, the Fiftysix complete calendar watch displays the date, day and month as well as a precision moon-phase indication offering 122 years of accuracy. Calibre 2460 also features a stop-seconds system.

The sector-type dial composes an extremely legible face, punctuated by a chapter ring with Arabic numerals – a fairly rare occurrence at Vacheron Constantin – and graced with opaline, sunburst and snailed finishing adorning the centre and graced with an opaline centre and sunburst rim. The subtly omnipresent Maltese cross also appears on the integrated crown and dial, as well as on the new 22K pink gold oscillating weight, and even more discreetly in the lug design.

This distinctive personality, offering a modern take on the style of the 1950s, is picked up on the Fiftysix self-winding. Its movement visible through the transparent sapphire crystal caseback is equipped with a stop-seconds device enabling extremely accurate time-setting. In terms of the exterior, the baton-type hands and white gold hour-markers coated with Super-LumiNova® make a perfect match with the 40 mm-diameter stainless steel case.

One distinctive final detail is the box-type crystal topping the bezel and preserving the intrinsically retro-contemporary style of the Fiftysix collection.

Watch Complications – Triple/Full Calendar, Annual Calendar and Perpetual Calendar Watches

Timepieces with indications of date with or without day and month are generally known as Calendar Watches.

Based on the type of horological complication incorporated, the calendar watches are available in Date Only, Day+Date, Date+Month and Day+Date+Month Versions. The watches that display day of the week, date and month details are again categorized as Triple/Full calendar, Annual Calendar and Perpetual Calendar. Some high complication watches come equipped with any of the calendar functions mentioned above.

Most of us often fail to differentiate between the various types of calendar watches. To understand the calendar watch complications better, we need to go through the Gregorian calendar, the most used civil calendar in the world.

Used all over the world, the Gregorian calendar is a solar calendar with 12 months. It has 365 days in a normal year and 366 days in a leap year.

In Gregorian calendar, numbers of days in a month vary from 28 to 31 days. January, March, May, July, August, October & December months have 31 days each; April, June, September & November months have 30 days each and the month of February has either 28 days in a normal year or 29 days in a leap year.

A Complete Calendar (Quantième Complet in French) watch displays date, day and months with or without moonphase. These types of timepieces are also known as Triple or Full Calendar watches. These watches need manual date adjustment in between the months with different number of days.

Montblanc Heritage Chronométrie Quantième Complet (Full Calendar)

In complete/full/triple calendar watches, the date wheel complication reads all months as 31 days month. On 31’st midnight, the date automatically changes to 1’st of the next month. However in case of months with lesser than 31 days, the date will not change to 1’st day of next month in the midnight of last day of the month, so the watch needs correction.

For example, when the date changes from 30th June to 1’st July, the owner of the watch has to manually adjust the date with the help of crown or corrector in order to set the correct date. This type of watch needs manual adjustment of date 05 times in a year: 28/29 Feb to 01st March, 30 April to 01st May, 30 June to 01st July, 30th September to 01st October and 30th November to 01st December.

An Annual Calendar (Quantième Annuel in French) is a watch that shows the date, day of the week and month but requires just one adjustment per year in the transition from February to March.

A. Lange & Söhne Saxonia Annual Calendar

In an Annual calendar watch, the date wheel complication is mechanically programmed for all months with 30 or 31 days so that from March to January, all month durations can be correctly indicated.

Usually, the annual calendar watch complication counts February as a 30 days month. So, in February, the date indication requires manual correction because according to the Gregorian calendar this particular month has only 28 or 29 days. To move date display from 28th February (29th in Leap year) to 1’st Mach, the owner of the watch needs to manually adjust the watch. As the name suggests, the Annual calendar watch requires manual date correction once in every year.

In some annual calendar watches, the date mechanism is mechanically programmed to count February as a 29 days month. In this condition, once a year, or rather, three times every four years, at the end of February, the wearer of the watch needs to set the date manually. This type of annual calendar watch doesn’t require any manual correction of date during leap years.

Another variant in this category, the calendar watch that displays day, date and month, but needs manual date adjustment once in every leap year known as Quadriannual Calendar. Here, the date mechanism is mechanically programmed to count February as a 28 days month. In this case, date automatically changes from 28th February to 1’st March every year, but the wearer has to manually set the date for 29th February in every leap year.

The watch complication that displays date, day, month and leap years is generally known as Perpetual Calendar. But technically, the answer is correct only if the date doesn’t need any manual adjustment for life time, more exactly till the next centurial year which is not a leap year. As of now, the next centurial year in Gregorian calendar is AD 2100.

IWC Schaffhausen Portugieser Perpetual Calendar (REF. IW503406)

To understand the Perpetual Calendar (Quantième Perpétuel in French) complication, we should know the significance of Leap years. A regular Gregorian year consists of 365 days, but in certain years known as leap years, a leap day is added to February. Every year that is exactly divisible by four is a leap year, except for years that are exactly divisible by 100, but these centurial years are leap years if they are exactly divisible by 400. For example, the years 1700, 1800, and 1900 are not leap years, but the year 2000 is.

The date complication in a perpetual calendar watch is designed to understand the differences in days of all 12 months in normal years and leap years in which the month of February has 29 days. So the calendar complication doesn’t need any manual correction of date even in leap years. This makes the date function “perpetual” in nature so this type of complication watch is known as a perpetual calendar.

Most contemporary perpetual calendar watches however need a correction in February 2100 because as per the Gregorian calendar, AD 2100 is not a leap year, and the February month has only 28 days. The perpetual calendar mechanism however reads the year 2100 as a leap year so the owner of the watch has to manually adjust the date from 28th February to 1’st March to synchronize with the traditional Gregorian calendar.

The Business Calendar (Semainier) is a calendar watch that also displays week of the year (1 to 52 weeks).

Girard-Perregaux 1966 Full Calendar Palladium Limited Edition

Girard-Perregaux 1966 Full Calendar palladium combines the functions and style of a great watchmaking classic, reworked in a unique metal. This limited edition integrates a full calendar displaying the date, day of the week, month and moon phases.

Time moves fluidly around its perfectly-proportioned dial. Accompanying the path traced by its fine, leaf-shaped hands, two windows placed side-by-side at 12 o’clock display the day of the week and the month. The moon follows its path at 6 o’clock, ornamenting the date indicator. Beautiful symmetry, optimal readability: the Girard-Perregaux 1966 Full Calendar satisfies the most refined tastes in terms of both pure design and distinctive style. On the back, the sapphire case-back reveals the GP033M0 mechanical self-winding movement designed by the Manufacture.
With its incomparable whiteness, the palladium case emphasises the outstanding character of these timepieces, available in only 199 numbered pieces. Part of the platinum family, this metal is twenty times less abundant than gold, and more resistant. Palladium is a rare metal much sought after for its numerous qualities. In particular, it does not require any rhodium plating, nor does it tarnish. This makes it the ideal metal for a watch with timeless character, such as the Girard-Perregaux 1966.

GOLDPFEIL GENEVE Double Time-Zone and Week Displays by Bernhard Lederer, Exclusive Collection

Launched by GOLDPFEIL GENEVE in 2002 in association with Switzerland based watchmaker Bernhard Lederer, this exclusive timepiece was inspired by the configuration of the historical regulators and unites a number of highly useful functions. The central arrow hand marks the minutes.

The second central hand, in a half-moon shape, indicates the weeks around the outer edge of the dial. The hour is read off a small dial at 12 o’clock, with a second time zone included on the dial at 6 o’clock. Two windows show the day and the date. The case is in yellow gold and the bezel set with diamonds. The automatic movement has an eccentric rotor system specially developed by the craftsman.

Blancpain New Villeret Quantième Complet GMT (With Patented Under-Lug Correctors)

Made its debut in 2002, the Quantième Complet GMT (complete calendar GMT complication) watch is now enhanced with Blancpain’s patented under-lug correctors. The new model will be unveiled at Baselworld 2018.

Since the early 1980s, Blancpain’s complete calendar moon-phase timepieces have been a signature of the house. Their design has firmly established itself as a classic arrangement: day of the week and month in windows, date with a supplemental blued serpentine shaped hand reading upon scale positioned around the chapter ring, and placement of a moon-phase window at 6 o’clock. Adding the GMT function elevates the timepiece to a high complication. Ensuring that the watch places itself as an ideal travel companion, the calendar indications are linked to the local time display shown by the principal hands. Home time is shown with a red-tipped hand.

The introduction of this combination of complications in the Villeret Collection brings with it innovations that were developed after the original version of the Quantième Complet GMT was launched. The in-house movement now features a silicium balance spring, with its superior antimagnetic and timing precision properties. Setting of all the calendar and moon-phase indications with a fingertip, instead of the standard tool, is made possible with the exclusive under-lug correctors.

An added benefit, the hidden correctors enable completely smooth case flanks unmarred by corrector dimples, commonly found in the watch world. Rapid adjustment of local time in one-hour increments is accomplished via the crown.

There are two versions of the new Quantième Complet GMT: in red gold with an opaline dial and applied red gold Roman indexes; and stainless steel with a white dial and white gold applied Roman indexes. Both are fitted into 40 mm diameter cases with the traditional Villeret double stepped bezel. Alligator straps or metal bracelets are available for each.

Vacheron Constantin FIFTYSIX® Collection – FIFTYSIX® Self-Winding, FIFTYSIX® Day-Date with Power-Reserve Indicator and FIFTYSIX® Complete Calendar with Precision Moon Phase

At SIHH 2018 haute-horlogerie exhibition in Geneva, Vacheron Constantin presented FIFTYSIX®, a brand new collection of gent’s mechanical automatic watches with a cosmopolitan style that is both contemporary and historically inspired.

Established since 1755, the Maison is heralding a new chapter in its history with the FIFTYSIX® watch collection. The new collection is inspired by a historical Vacheron Constantin watch dating from 1956: the reference 6073, which feature a unique aesthetics design that expresses the particularly abundant creativity displayed by Vacheron Constantin during the 1950s, the golden age of round timepieces. This timepiece is distinguished by its shape – and notably its lugs, each representing a branch of the Maltese cross which has become an emblem of the Manufacture.

Further, the reference 6073 was one of the first watches from the Manufacture to be equipped with a self-winding movement. Calibre 1019/1 was distinguished by its precision and reliability, at a time when most other models were driven by manual-winding mechanisms. Lastly, this model has a special place within the Vacheron Constantin heritage: the case of the 6073 boasted a water-resistant construction (with a multi-sided caseback).

A number of characteristics of the reference 6073 are incorporated into the FIFTYSIX® collection introduced in 2018.

Maltese cross: In the new collection, one major aesthetics connection with the reference 6073 is the Maltese cross, inspired by the shape of a component formerly found in mechanical movements. A small wheel connected to the barrel of the cover which made it possible to use the most constant section of the spring by regulating its degree of winding and unwinding, in order to enhance the precision of the watch.

More than 260 years of perpetually renewed efforts entirely directed towards attaining the highest standards of quality make this emblem the very symbol of horological excellence. It is echoed by the design of the FIFTYSIX® watches, since the lugs of their cases are inspired by the branches of the Maltese cross.

Box-type crystal: Like the historical timepiece, each FIFTYSIX® watch is fitted with a distinctive shaped box-type crystal. Historically made from Plexiglas or mineral glass, it is now in sapphire, a far more scratch-resistant material, while preserving the retro-contemporary look of the FIFTYSIX® collection.

Self-winding movements: As a tribute to the self-winding movement of the 6073 and for the wearer’s convenience, all the versions of the FIFTYSIX® collection, including those with complications, are powered by a self-winding movement, with a new calibre for the three-hand variation. A transparent caseback provides a chance to admire the movement finishing – Côtes de Genève, circular graining and snailing – as well as the new oscillating weight designed by Vacheron Constantin for this collection. This polished and satin-brushed 22 carats open-worked rotor, bearing a Maltese cross applique and a frosted-snailed finish, represents a signature feature of all FIFTYSIX® models.

Gold and steel: For the first time in its history, the Maison has decided to offer a classic collection both in gold and in steel, while treating the latter material with the same high aesthetic standards as the precious metal. As an example of this, see the use of white gold hands and appliques on the steel versions of the FIFTYSIX®.

Sector-type dial: Timepieces from the new FIFTYSIX® collection are distinguished by the classic appearance of its sector-type dial. While the chapter ring, punctuated by alternating Arabic numerals and baton-type hour-markers, channels its 1950s inspiration, the presence on the surface of two subtle tones achieved by finishing effects lends an additional touch of elegance and sophistication. The play of light across the dial gives it depth and a stronger personality.

It is by reinterpreting its own roots that the FIFTYSIX® collection achieves a distinctive style by adopting a crown recessed into the case, thereby setting it apart from its 1956 predecessor, which took a more classic approach to this specific detail.

The FIFTYSIX® collection presented at the SIHH 2018 comprises three 40 mm diameter models available in various steel or gold versions:-
• Date
• Day of the week, date, power-reserve indicator
• Complete calendar with precision moon phase

FIFTYSIX® Self-Winding
The 40 mm-diameter steel or 18 carats 5N pink gold case of this model houses a brand-new mechanical self-winding movement, Calibre 1326, endowed with a 48-hour power reserve.

Featuring the 22 carats openworked Maltese cross-shaped oscillating weight, this watch displaying the hours, minutes, central seconds and an aperture-type date indication is equipped with a stop-seconds device.

The movement finishing – Côtes de Genève, circular graining and snailing – can be admired through the transparent sapphire crystal caseback.

Alternating gold Arabic numerals and hour-markers enliven the monochrome dial with its double opaline-sunburst effect: grey on the steel version and silver-toned on the pink gold version. The baton-type gold hours and minutes hands, as well as the hour-markers, are coated with a luminescent material.

This model in the FIFTYSIX® collection is fitted with an alligator leather strap secured by a polished half Maltese cross-shaped steel folding clasp or pin gold buckle depending on the version.

FIFTYSIX® Complete Calendar with Precision Moon Phase
The FIFTYSIX® complete calendar model is the collection highlight. Behind the understated elegance of its monochrome dial with opaline-sunburst effect lies one of the horological complications most appreciated by discerning connoisseurs and collectors.

The indications of the day of the week, date, month and moon phase are driven by a self-winding movement, Calibre 2460 QCL/1, equipped with a 22 carats openworked oscillating weight adorned with the Maltese cross emblem. Its construction and its extreme precision mean that the moon-phase function requires adjustment only once every 122 years (compared with once every three years or a standard moon phase).

The collection’s characteristic dial is graced with two rectangular apertures at 12 o’clock, respectively indicating the month and the day of the week. The date is displayed by a central gold hand, while the moon disc at 6 o’clock features a blue night sky and 18K gold moons.

A 40 mm-diameter case in steel or 18 carats 5N pink gold; gold Arabic numerals, hour-markers and hours & minutes hands; alligator leather strap with steel folding clasp or pink gold pin buckle depending on the model: the FIFTYSIX® complete calendar embodies a perfect blend of Vacheron Constantin’s stylish elegance and the sophistication of its mechanical functions.

This innovative new timepiece from Swiss watch brand Delma Klondike Collection boasts automatic chronograph with full calendar, moon phase, and a distinctive day-and-night indicator.

In this timepiece, an innovative and striking day-and-night indicator at 9 o’clock replaces the usual small 24-hour hand, enhancing both functionality and visual appeal. Vacheron Constantin Historiques Triple Calendrier 1942 (Steel Case) & 1948 (Pink Gold Case)

Taking aesthetic and creative inspiration from its iconic calendar watches from 1940s, Vacheron Constantin presents two new Historiques models featuring a complete calendar.

With their calendar function, round case with triple gadroons, two-tone dial, “claw-type” lugs and mechanical manual-winding movement, the new Historiques Triple calendrier 1942 and the Triple calendrier 1948 are reviving a typical Vacheron Constantin complication and style from this era.

Vacheron Constantin is reinterpreting two calendar watches from 1942 and 1948, which highlight its expertise in the field of “useful” complications and the associated characteristic design. This results in design codes reflecting those of the original models, but with a contemporary twist. A steel triple calendar timepiece and another 18K 4N pink gold triple calendar with moon phase version are now back in the spotlight. The 40 mm-diameter case crafted in the Vacheron Constantin style features a number of character traits typical of the era, such as the distinctive “triple gadroon” caseband bearing “claw-type” lugs.

Topped by a box-type glass of which the slightly thicker nature enables the use of an extremely slender bezel, the case which is water-resistant to 30 metres, reveals through the caseback the Fine Watchmaking finishing of the new complete calendar calibre – interpreted as reference 4400 QC and 4400 QCL for the moon-phase version (L for Lune, meaning moon in French). Beating at a frequency of 4 Hz, this mechanical manual-winding movement, entirely developed and crafted by Vacheron Constantin, preserves the original spirit of the mid-20th century calendars, while providing a comfortable 65-hour power reserve thanks to its imposing barrel.

Historiques Triple calendrier 1942
The first model, made of steel, is inspired by reference 4240, of which the first executions in yellow gold, pink gold or steel were introduced in 1942.

In keeping with the original, this understated and elegant model drives the hours, minutes, small seconds at 6 o’clock, along with hand-type date and day and month by aperture.

The calendar indications appear in a choice of burgundy or dark blue, on a two-tone silvered dial typical of the era. The sunburst satin-finished centre and the outer zone punctuated by Arabic numerals clearly enhance the legibility of the respective functions and accentuate its retro-chic elegance.

Historiques Triple calendrier 1948
Like its vintage predecessor, the Historiques Triple calendrier 1948 is crafted in 18K 4N pink gold, a tone that is closer to the original version and endows it with an extremely elegant style.

Issued in two limited series of 200 pieces each, it revives the reference 4240L presented in 1948: a triple calendar enriched with a sophisticated astronomical complication – the high-precision lunar cycle (hence the L in its name) – along with small seconds at 6 o’clock. Its contemporary version highlights an array of refined and distinctive assets.

The dial features a silvered opaline centre with a sunburst satin-finished external zone. This subtly nuanced display is interspersed with applied Roman numerals and triangle-type hour-markers swept over by slim baton-type hands. Its calendar functions and its moon disc appear in a choice of burgundy or dark blue, teamed with a brown or dark blue leather strap secured by a pin buckle.

The perfect expression of Baume & Mercier’s watchmaking culture, the watch offers two complications: a bi-compax chronograph as well as a complete calendar with a display for the day and the month, the date, the moon phases, and a 24h indicator.

Baume & Mercier Clifton Chronograph Complete Calendar

The heart of the mechanism is a self-winding Swiss Valjoux caliber visible through the sapphire crystal case back with an oscillating weight that is personalized Baume & Mercier and decorated with the Côtes de Genève.

The Clifton Chronograph Complete Calendar is available in three versions.

Oris Artelier Calibre 113

At Baselworld 2017, traditional Swiss watch brand Oris will unveil Artelier Calibre 113, the fourth in the company’s series of highly innovative, high-functioning watches powered by in-house developed movements. Calibre 113 shares the same base architecture as Oris Calibres 110, 111 and 112, but features a novel business calendar, showing the day, date, week and month of the year.

Oris was founded in 1904 with a vision to create the best possible watch in its category, using state-of-the-art industrial watchmaking techniques. By the late 1970s, the company had created 279 calibres in-house and was one of Switzerland’s largest movement manufacturers, producing up to 1.2 million watches and clocks a year. Over the next three decades, Oris invested heavily in innovation, developing numerous movement modules that delivered real world complications. In 2014, to mark Oris’s 110th anniversary, the company launched Calibre 110, the first complete movement developed by Oris watchmakers for almost 40 years.

Like the three calibres before it, Calibre 113 features a 10-day power reserve, a patented non-linear power reserve indicator and a small seconds. The addition of a business calendar means that once again Oris is introducing a watch with a unique combination of complications.

Behind this new model is Oris’s newly founded Centre of Excellence, where the company’s most innovative watches and movements will be developed from now on. By establishing this centre, Oris has reclaimed another part of its history, and put in place the foundations for its future.

Calibre 113 will have a 43mm multi-piece stainless steel case with a sapphire crystal glass and case back so the watch’s bold movement design can be seen in all its industrial glory. It will have apertures at 12 and 9 o’clock for the day and date indications, while the same central pointer hand will show the week and month. The hand has a red tip that corresponds to a gauge around the outside of the dial. Oris has engineered Calibre 113 so that all of these functions, as well as time setting and winding, can be operated through a single crown.

The Oris Artelier Calibre 113 with the anthracite dial is available with a dark brown Louisiana croco leather strap or a stainless steel bracelet. The Oris Artelier Calibre 113 with the opaline silver dial is available with a grey, black or dark brown Louisiana croco leather strap or a stainless steel bracelet.

Maîtres du Temps Chapter Two TCR – Big Date Instantaneous Triple Calendar

Introduced in 2013, Chapter Two TCR—Triple Calendar Round—confirms Chapter Two’s status as the world’s most legible triple calendar wristwatch while showing that Maîtres du Temps is the horological master of the sporty and casual as well as the elegant and complex.

Two of the world’s greatest living watchmakers, Daniel Roth and Peter Speake-Marin, have pushed the boundaries of haute horlogerie by creating a timepiece in which every single aspect—aesthetic and horological—has been meticulously refined to perfection.

Chapter Two TCR sees Maîtres du Temps’ distinctive day and month roller indications seamlessly integrated into a complex circular case of high-tech Grade 5 titanium, available with either a high-polish finish or with sleek, black PVD.  The curved lines of the case are accentuated by eye-and light-catching 45° bevels along the case band that flow around the round, matte-black ceramic bezel to focus attention on the high-contrast, high-legibility dial.

Central hour and minute hands are complemented by bold over-sized hour indices—with Roman numerals at 12, 3, and 9 o’clock—all filled with brightwhite Super-LumiNova that glows a vivid green in the dark. Arabic numerals mark five-minute intervals around the chapter ring, while small secondsat 6 o’clock are indicated by a visually arresting bright red handthat complements the 15-minute markers.

While this ensemble of clear, clean indications makes for the most readable of time-telling experiences, the big date window at 12 o’clock and the month and day-of-the-week indications—spelled out in full on their respective rollers in engaging Serpentine font—offer unprecedented legibility in a triple calendar wristwatch.

As you might expect from the superstar lineup that developed Chapter Two, every single detail has been carefully considered, both visually and functionally. To ensure unmatched visual access to the dial-side indications, three anti-reflective sapphire crystals are utilized: one over the main dial and two curved crystals over the rollers, which are metalized to frame the month and date. For ease of operation, there are two ergonomic, paddle-shaped pushers, each engraved with their respective functions, and located on the caseback to adjust the month and day rollers.  Similarly, the engraving on the big-date pusher in the case band at 2:00 identifies its function.

The octagonal sapphire crystal display back provides a window to Chapter Two’s groundbreaking movement, which was developed by Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier in close collaboration with Peter Speake-Marin and Daniel Roth and was extensively tested, refined, and beautifully decorated until it satisfied the master watchmakers’ most exigent standards. Through the display back, the eye is immediately drawn to the richly engraved and symbolically goblet-shaped rotor of the automatic winding system. The intricate panier guilloche decorating the rotor’s center provides a noble counterpoint to the text engraved around the rotor’s periphery: Maîtres de Temps’ motto, Masters and Their Craft—A Lifelong Pursuit of Excellence. The richly hand-decorated movement features a veritable melody of harmonious fine finishing, from the sun-ray Côtes de Genève on the polished hand-beveled bridges, to the helical spirals and perlage on the mainplate, to the mirror-polished screw heads.

Finally, the cool, casual aura of Chapter Two TCR is perfectly completed by a black, natural rubber strap with titanium folding buckle.
