Circula has launched two new limited editions for its diver’s watches: AquaSport 2 and SuperSport.

The best-selling AquaSport diving watch is already being built in the second, improved generation. The most popular version in blue is now available again and Circula is also adding a new limited edition to the AquaSport collection: the Aventurine LE, which is limited to 99 pieces.

The dial is made of real blue aventurine quartz. Thanks to the natural material, each dial has an individual structure and is reminiscent of a starry sky at night due to the microcrystalline inclusions.

Launched in Summer 2021, the Circula SuperSport super compressor diver’s watch is now also available in a 99-piece limited edition with a red dial. Date disc and Tropical rubber strap come in matching red. The popular version in petrol is now back in stock and has a matching tropical strap as well.

Both limited editions and the other models that are available again use the high-quality SW200-1, now in Elaboré grade, from Sellita in Switzerland. The AquaSport also gets an improved Beads of Rice steel strap with a safety clasp.

The case size of 40mm, the proven water resistance of 200 meters for the AquaSport 2 and 300 meters for the SuperSport, the screw-down crown, and the anti-reflective sapphire crystal with double anti-reflective coating on the inside remain unchanged.

The AquaSport combines the design of the 1970s skin-divers with new colors and details that set accents. As a special extra, the bezel insert is made of scratch-resistant sapphire crystal.

The design of the SuperSport lives up to its name. As a real super compressor with an internal diver’s bezel, it is based on models from the middle of the last century, modernized with sporty elements of today, such as the sandwich dial with Swiss Super-LumiNova®.

Pforzheim, Germany based brand Circula launches ProTrail, a new field watch with soft iron cage and scratch resistant watch case.

The Circula ProTrail Automatic is a unique and robust field watch, combining modern as well as classic elements. With a robust case and highly legible dial, it has the capability to survive the harsh conditions during the military operations.

The ProTrail watch is anti-magnetic up to 80,000 A/m thanks to a soft iron cage and truly scratch-resistant to 1,300 Vickers. This is achieved by a technology called Kolsterising®, which is applied by a specialist close to Frankfurt, Germany. In the process, carbon is diffused into the case surface, giving it a very effective scratch protection.

The modern case design with its diverse gradations underlines the robust character of the Circula ProTrail Automatic watch. The 40mm diameter stainless steel case is water resistant to 150 meters. The Sapphire glass ensures a scratch-free view on the dial equipped with Swiss Super LumiNova®.

The Circula ProTrail Automatic watch in stainless steel is available with black or sand-colored dials. The dial is designed for pure functionality to ensure perfect readability. Inspired by the iconic military/field watches, it has an inner ring with the numbers 13 to 24 on the recessed inner circle with the emblematic circular pattern.

The brand is also offering a special variant featuring a black DLC-coated steel case and black dial without the 13 to 24 numbering. Named Old Radium LE, this model is limited to 99 pieces.

The Circula ProTrail field watch is equipped with the Swiss made Sellita SW-200-1 Elaboré grade self-winding movement.

The pre-order phase has now started and offers the opportunity to purchase the new ProTrail for EUR/USD629,-(excl. VAT, 749,- incl. VAT) in the brand’s online shop by September 30th, including a sailcloth strap as well as free worldwide shipping. From October it will cost EUR/USD40,- more. Delivery will start early November 2022.

Pforzheim, Germany based watch brand Circula presents “SuperSport”, a contemporary Super-Compressor diving watch. The brand has been known for their high-quality mechanical watches with an authentic retro design,

The special thing about the SuperSport is, that it is not just a Super-Compressor-style watch (i.e., two crowns and inner rotating bezel), but also includes a real compressor-function. Thus, the case back is compressed by water pressure for better sealing.

As a super-compressor, the SuperSport is based on models from the middle of the last century, modernized with today’s sporty elements. The case will have a diameter of approx. 39 millimeters and a water resistance of 200 meters or more. Sapphire crystal guarantees a scratch-free view onto the dial, which is equipped with Swiss Super-LumiNova®. High-quality mechanical movements with automatic winding from Sellita in Switzerland are responsible for the precise time display.

However, some aspects of the watch have not yet been finalized, as watch fans can participate in shaping the creation of this new watch over the next few weeks. After registering on the brand’s website, you’ll receive access to the project area and can influence the watch with your ideas. New aspects are regularly brought up for discussion and voting there.

The most popular variants are then integrated into the dive watch. This approach has already proven itself with the retro diving watch AquaSport, which was released in 2020 and was developed with members of the largest German-speaking watch forum. The result is a watch that is affordable and yet of very high quality. Like all mechanical Circula watches, the SuperSport is also built in Pforzheim.

After the joint design process has been completed, pre-orders will begin in summer 2021 before the watch is delivered in autumn. During the pre-order phase, the new SuperSport is available in the brand’s online shop for 699 Euros, including two straps, a steel bracelet and a Tropic rubber strap. Later it will cost € 100 more.

Handmade in Pforzheim by assuring the Made in Germany quality, these limited series mechanical watches are equipped with the NOS movements manufactured by Pforzheimer-Rohwerke GmbH (P.U.W.). The design of this collection was inspired by the first Circula model made in 1955. This historic timepiece was also equipped with a P.U.W. movement.

The Heritage Hand-Wound models are equipped with historical and extremely rare P.U.W. Caliber 561 hand-wound movements made in the 1970s. The Heritage automatic models house the self-winding P.U.W. Caliber 1661 movements, also made in the 1970s.

The watches are crafted from 316L stainless steel. The case of Heritage Hand-wound models measures 39mm diameter and 9.9mm thickness whereas the Heritage automatic models feature 41mm diameter case with 11.8 mm thickness. Both models are also being offered in rose gold PVD variations.

These timepieces are fitted with scratch-resistant, double-curved and double anti-reflective coated sapphire crystals on the top. Each Heritage model features sapphire crystal case-back for admiring the mechanical movement, which is 100% made in Germany.

Each model from this collection is limited to 499 pieces. The limited number is engraved on the case back. The limited edition number is also engraved on the winding rotor of automatic versions and on the barrel bridge of hand-wound versions. The leather strap handmade in Germany features quick exchange system.

Retail price of the Heritage Hand-Wound watch starts at 664 € and Heritage Automatic watch starts at 773 €.

This collection by Circula offers elegant quartz timepieces inspired by the 1950s designs. These watches are powered by Swiss Made Ronda quartz calibers. Available with different color themes of case and dial, these timepieces are fitted with a matching leather strap, textile strap or a mesh bracelet.

Made from stainless steel 316L, the watch case measures 39mm diameter and 8mm thickness (11mm with glass).
